No room for Ki or Brown in your formation then, they each would add a bit of flair and fight in the midfield, something O'Neil also had.

To play a 3-5-2 formation the 3 defenders need to be more centre halfs than full backs. Martin O'Neill used this (Valgaeren, Balde, Mjallby) with 2 wingbacks (Agathe types). Wilson and Cha would be a nightmare defending high balls, but I agree, it can be an entertaining formation to watch if played the right way.
