I think you'l find that Rangers have a squad of over 20 players available for the 1rst team and not 16.
It seems your not too good with figures especially when you have to take your socks off.

ReL actually the U21's were not registered . they don't have to be and this left spaces for other team members if they were brought in. .

little, cole, hutton, ness, adam, kerakr, weiss, bartley, wylde & fleck would not registered so technically the poster was right. .

The board can go f themselves as it was them who brought in and allowed Mowbray to destroy a side that only needed a bit of new blood.

Yes CL money was badly needed but next year the fans will return and we have a very young strong squad with a couple of additions needed.

I'm sorry i can see no way in which Long will come to paradise- he is wanted by everton apparently. Also anyone talking about westwood, he is supposedly set to join a premier league club, maybe aston villa who are also linked with mcgregor. I think mcgugan will be quite a good signing though.

He is available as again his contract is set to expire, so I would imagine if Celtic had wanted him they would have done the work at the same time as the Wilson deal. Wigan and West Ham are reported to be interested in signing him}

I see a lot of deluded people hear. Celtic can't afford keane given bellemy long. Remember u have to spend what u earn and rangers earnd £30m more than celtic {Ed007's Note - Why do we need to spend what we earn? FFP rules aren't in place yet, if they were you would have been banned from playing in Europe last year}

The thing is, Rangers can't spend what they earned. . . . . . cos the taxman a cometh! When are you deluded lot going to accept you have been spending money for years that you didn't have! I would much rather have the green set of accounts than the blue ones!
The thing is our sugar daddy will probably bankroll Keane again if he so wished. Personally i would be happy with the scouting last season that gave us Izzy, Hooper & Kayal and say a big NO to loan deals for the likes of Bellamy, Given & Keane. I'm certainly not deluded, but i do think Celtic are financially stronger and will spend wisely again. This time it will be quality over quantity!

I don't believe we can afford Shay Given, he may be on the radar but if he is available, which is doubtful, EPL clubs will be interested. Spurs for one.
I would be delighted if we could get Fraser Forster even if its another loan.

To be honest i don't rate forster to highly i think i would be alot happier with another keeper i think he was average in parts mcgregor was sensational and to be honest i would like a keeper in his calibre (think thts hw u spell it) i am a celtic fan but am a strong scotland fan aswell and have to admit the guys talent

I'm a bit mystified as to what happened to Jaurez he really really looked the part so why are we shipping him , he's an attacking mid player thru & thru, so why is'nt he getting a chance. ( unless there's something between him & lennon, cos' in pre-season he looked the part, wot say you ED/ /

Although i find the rumours highly amusing from time to time of how you have friends, who there friends uncle, that just got a job near parkhead in the burger van, and Messi just bought a chesseburger speaking in perfect english how he and Villa are heading to Celtic Park!. . . but can we not all just agree as Celtic fans that any player that is playing in the Premier League because of the wages will never move north!

I think we should concentrate in taking some of the Championship talent; McCormack, DJ Campbell, Bothroyd, Liam Ridgewell, Mark Noble. . .etc etc, yes Given would be a good signing but I'd rather pay four decent players wages than just one keepers!

And Shane Long, not bad but not great I think £4M really?? You could sign 4 players easily for that in Scotts Prem aswell, Conway, Kenneth, Swanson to name 3! I wanna see Scottish talent coming through the ranks with a few talented Championship players.

But most of all we need to clear out the bulk of the team too many players, paying too much in wages, should get rid of:

Maloney (always injured)
Stokes (never should have signed him)
Samaras (got to go, just has to go)
Loovens (the man can't defend)
Hinkel (never gonna be the same after injury)
Forrest (will never make it, not good enough)
Juarez (does not seem to be in mangers plans)
Hooiveld (does he still play for us?)
Rasmussen (Next duncan ferguson, more like Kirsty Ferguson "old weather girl")
Ben Hutchison (i mean it gets worse)

Theres 11 players that are as good as a 2 legged horse in the grand national! You'd have about 100k in wages there to sign 4 top players and build a team for europe next year, HAIL HAIL! C'mon the hoops!

is there any truth celtic are intrested as i would rather sign him for 5million than shane long. . .
