Ed, would you swap this large downturn in posts for a January transfer window? Or is it not quite that bad yet?

Believable4 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - Let's not get carried away here, Kev, nothing's as bad as a January window.}

31 Mar 2020 16:43:17
Ed can you possibly clear something up some one said to me that Celtic have an Insurance policy that covers them for even this terrible virus Financially is this true?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I honestly don't know mate but if they did surely they would have came out and mentioned they're covered - or could Pedro claim the insurance and make out the Club covered everything?}

You cannot make a fair comparison with over 120yrs to choose from.
Who can honestly say that players from yester-year were better or worse than those of today.
With different tactics, equipment, training and video anlyasis would some have been better or poorerin todays game. Likewise how would some of todays playershave coped with the tackles and rough house treatment dished out in the past.
You can probably break it down best teams of the decade or maybe 20yr cycles but anything else is futile.

I take your choice of Tom Boyd, Ed, and it's all about opinions and what each one of us prefers> My dad was the Chief Stand Steward at Parkhead in the mid 60s to the mid 70's and he was good at what he did - he always found me a seat :o) Just thought over the years KT read the defensive game very well and he was initially a left midfielder in the Development Squad and so had the attacking instinct in him. I also liked Darius Wdowczyk but felt KT had the overall package. Same as Davie Elliot - he was the best youth player I've seen at PH.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I like my defenders to defend first and for me Boyd was a better defender - and better servant - than KT was for us.}

Naw ed. He easily played both. I know boyd also played both but I never thought jackie looked out of position as a RB.

Did tam play more right as time went on and we brought tosh in tae?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I remember Boyd playing CB more than I do RB but there was a lot of alcohol involved in matchdays back then lol.}

Gedceltic. I loved my mother to bits, but I never forgave her for not letting me go to the game. My big brother got to go and ribbed me about it for the rest of his life! It would be eight years of misery before I saw Celtic beating Rangers never mind demolishing them: the 1965 League Cup final!

ED007 was that you in Coatbridge yesterday entertaining all your neighbours with your Elvis routines, even the police seemed to enjoy it lol.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I HATE Elvis! Where's Anthony Stokes when you need him.}

31 Mar 2020 12:37:46
Oh come on ED007 Elvis Pressley "won me" the fair Mrs T as I told her he was my favourite singer (even though I had no clue about half his songs) but later in life I took her to Vegas and we sat through some terrible Elvis impersonator concerts, that was my punishment lol

PS Do you like Riverdance, did you see the clip in the Daily Record yesterday of the baby in his baby bouncer dancing to it, when the music stops the baby stops and when it starts again his legs go like crazy, alas I do not have the skills to post it I hope some other poster saw it and can show it here.

Where's the outrage, where's the statements from Rod Stewart, will Neil Lennon pay the fine himself? How much in fines is that now the Club has had to pay for it breaking UEFA Regs?

• Celtic FC ensures its coach is personally informed of this decision.

Petty feckers.

31 Mar 2020 12:10:48
Absolutely disgraceful and shocking.

The officials bring the teams out so a late kick-off must then be pitch related. Is it the length the huddle takes? Is Scott Brown re-iterating what Lenny told them 10 minutes earlier? Wouldn't surprise me if the SFA take similar measures and start fining a club which is enhancing the Scottish game by being successful.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2020 12:49:04
Why was the kick off late? Team talk lasting too long or something? On the face of it some of these fines from UEFA seem farcical but at the same time surely somebody at the club should be making sure that advertising logos are the correct size 😖.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 Mar 2020 14:08:39
Light show? You'll never walk alone? Huddle? Combination of all 3. Where is the outrage tho? Why has no one blamed the green brigade yet?

31 Mar 2020 16:57:31
I thought the fine was to do with the away game Steph. That's probably why.
