Lennon publicly stated we might need to offer players wage cuts in coming weeks. Should be ok until end of April but with Β£5m monthly wage bill with no income it's seriously eating into our cash reserves.
With games not played due to be refunded by the club we really need to be able to get this season finished ASAP.

Football players should not be immune to what everyone else is going through. They make enough in their careers to take the hit.

Lay all the players off, let them get the governments 80% deal up to Β£2500 a month,

If it's being considered at the biggest, richest club in Scotland, then the rest must be in a very desperate financial crisis.
With no end in sight to the current restrictions and the 2019/ 20 season in limbo, there will be many clubs facing meltdown and ruin.
Football is only the tip of the iceberg as every household will have someone in work who are on reduced pay or have even been laid-off?
The repercussions and lasting effects of this pandemic will take a very long time to recover from mentally, physically and financially.

Doubt anyone on here has the balls to post this, but how many PPE kits would the Β£70m the rangers owed in tax would OUR NHS have got!

They should be taken to task for this, but doubt this β€œjoined” website will.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - none because that is not what it would have been used for. The government ran down the NHS for their own purposes and it was nothing to do with unpaid taxes.}

30 Mar 2020 10:19:43
My god Gerbo that really took "balls" to post that 🀑.

This crisis could be what saves our NHS as the country and the clown leading it might just realize just how lucky we are to have it and how invaluable it really is.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - let's hope so.}

30 Mar 2020 11:47:17
In an ideal world it should be used to help the nhs and the forces and surely some of our money goes towards them.

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - in an ideal world it would. It doesn't though, all the tax money just goes to debt repayments of the national debt. Anyway, the real worry are those companies, such as Google and Amazon that are evading billions a year in tax.}

30 Mar 2020 18:04:16
If the government doesn't see what great work the NHS (system) is doing compared with what they have in say the USA then nothing will Light and day look across the pond too the UK and see what system you should have in your country Donald.

Is the PFI thing still being paid for by the NHS, and if it is can it not be scrapped or nationalised same with the hospital car parks, nurses shouldn't be having to pay for parking at the ERI and other hospitals, I know it's free just now, but it should always be free for medical staff.
