Hi All I see Henry Onyekuru has joined Everton, we must remain positive but accept that some players are just out of reach. We have too find rough diamonds and develop our own players. I hope that Roberts will sign and maybe others of similar ilk.

Loaned right back out due to work permit
Defo think the Hayes signing means Roberts is a non starter
Hopefully with a good preseason under his belt kouassi comes in this year

Really hope BR and the players took notice of last nights results the teams that finished 3rd and 4th struggling against 2 sides that before last night nobody had heard off one of them actually finished 4th in the luxenbourge leagueI know Celtic are a step up from sevco and st Johnstone but so are some of the teams we may have to face to qualify would be much happier if we shelved the project players for the time being and put words into action and get some quality signings over the line now.

I wish people would just back the gaffer tbh, Can see your point connoly bud but if BR wants one in and thinks the squad is good enough to get us there we should back him, and were running out of players as according to people on this forum the names we are linked with aren't good enough, borinis mince but good enough for milan? janujaz is lazy, markovic won't come, lucas is past it.

These players would have added greatly to the squad imo and if we can't get excited about players of a better quality to what we have then its no wonder the same rubbish happens every window with the fans, I remember it last year also, sinclairs a dud, dembele who etc, I think we done ok last year tbh.

gamboa? toure? de vries? all dud signings, not every gamble pays off, but the signings of dembele and sinclair are up there with any top celtic player, there must be another top signing on the way the way rodgers is talking.

Guys sly saying we are 3/ 1 favourites to sign Lazar Markovic the Serbian winger from Liverpool, apparently sly saying he is "the strong, powerful, pacy player" Brendan spoke about.
But Liverpool paid £21m for him and are wanting at least £8/ £9m then add on his wages. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, unless a loan deal can be agreed.

Think he was loaned out Kev so no breakdown, if its true and were paying 9 mill then maybe paddy wants a crack somewhere else as im sure Ed said that's the price Man City wanted for him, Markovic would be as just as good imo.

I'd prefer Paddy just because he's been here and probably has more goals in him but Markovic would be a terrific signing. Not sure we could meet the asking price though, he was being touted to Watford for £12m a few days ago.
