Ed how long does McGregor have left on his contract? Would like to see this lad tied down for the rest of his career. He is developing at an incredible rate. Comes across as very humble and it's pretty obvious he loves the club and will be at CP for as long a time as Celtic want him. That's the type of player i want at Celtic. He is a very special talent.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - McGregor signed and extension until 2021 at the beginning of last season mate so three years to go still.}

30 Apr 2018 23:04:00
Excellent that's great, cheers Ed.

{Ed007's Note - (yes)

30 Apr 2018 21:12:26
I was lying here thinking who might be leaving in the summer, and could we see a complete overhaul of the fringe players in the squad.

De Vries
Gamboa
Svaichencko
Hayes
Commper
Simunovic
Allan
Cifti
Miller
Kouassi
Masonda
Benyu
Plus the possibility of Armstrong,
Rogic, Boyata and Christie could also leave us very short on numbers but could allow us to bring in a few real quality players
This does not include the loss of Roberts and Edouard.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - You can definitely scrub Hayes, Musonda and Christie off that list and Kouassi, Benyu and Miller might go out on loan but none of them will leave permanently.}

30 Apr 2018 22:10:52
I've really liked the look of Kouassi whenever I have saw him play. However Ntcham has claimed that position for his own, especially with the partnership he and Broony are sharing. I'd like Koussi and Benyu to get a loan in Scotland, to give them a chance to shine close to home. Hayes is too versatile a squad player to let go of at the moment. I think with Hendry now 1st choice backup, Simonovic has likely played his last game. Agree with 7 of those going out, with a further 2 to 4 going out on loan. At this rate, we won't have a squad for next season lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Ntcham and Kouassi are totally different players and aren't competing with each other for game time, playing Kouassi and Brown in the 2 CDM slots would produce very little in creativity, you need players in there that compliment each other so it would be Brown/Kouassi and Ntcham/Armstrong vying for the 2 spots.
The only way I would play Kouassi and Brown together would be in a midfield 3 of them and Ntcham playing in a small pyramid with Ntcham just in front of the the 2 CDMs, I'd like to see that in Europe in a 4-3-2-1.}

30 Apr 2018 22:53:47
I thought for a while that Kouassi may not be going to make it, but then I remembered I was reading too many Celtic fans posts, influenced by MSSM .
Kouassi is still basically a child in relation to a full-time SPL football . He is still in development and could well play a far more significant road next season. I think we played Rangers 2012 earlier this season with Brown Ntcham and Kouassi as a midfield trio. My memory is that as a midfield we were very secure.

Agree0 Disagree2

01 May 2018 15:17:09
ED we need to look at what we can do for Europe and a 4-3-2-1 would hopefully make us more secure. Do you think Kouassi is up to the task?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Definitely but he would need to get more game time domestically rather than just shoehorned in for European games.}

Humour transplant required for Police Scotland me thinks. No further action will be taken against Lustig for knocking the Polis hat but the club has been spoken too. Feck off and away and stop our bogs getting wrecked. Me and my laddie couldn't see one cop smiling when we left as they lined up Springfield Road with windscreen guards looking like the PSNI. I thought I was walking through Derry or West Belfast. We did see a wee fat wan whose yellow jacket looked a tad too tight with a big angry face looking like he was fae Airdrie and was just missing a big drum. I didn't think it was the right time to say 'Excuse me Officer on the down side yir teams just been pumped but on the plus side you're getting double time'. Anybody else found it hard to stop pissin yourself laughing today or struggling to remove the grin from your face? 😂👍☘️.

I find it strange that at least two officers at different matches have taken pics with onion bears motifs on their uniform. Now that's just plain stupid.

No it's not stupid, it's policemen showing their allegiance and reminding Rangers 2012 fans that they are among friends.

While its brilliant to see and enjoy another successful season and some cracking hunskelpings, I also have a little bit of sympathy for wee Murty.
Dragged from a position of looking after younger players and thrown to the lions, you have to feel a wee bit for him. WE all knew how the saga Murty's Marvels would end.

I suppose sevco fans can now look at that nice Mr King bringing in a big name experienced manager like SG who currently looks after the young players at Liverp. oh, . The circus just keeps going with different clowns.

He could have said no to the role or walked at anytime so I have no sympathy for him.

I would give him a job in our youth set up, he's a decent guy put in an impossible position and then undermined at every opportunity. They showed how they treat true "rangers men" - fat sally, etc, we can show our class and give the guy a job with a decent club.

Agree1 Disagree1

30 Apr 2018 13:40:18
Sorry Tim no sympathy for Murty, the guy was giving it big licks about title challenges, players cheering when they drew us in the cup was starting to believe he was the big cheese, with the long we are the peepul interviews.

now put firmly back in his box. HH.

I used to feel a bit sorry for my 2 brother in law's who have ST at Ibrox. Nowadays their monkey tears are delicious. Every year their promised moonbeams and blame anyone and everyone when it goes tits up every time. Old Albert Einstein was spot on about insanity. They do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. If only they had cut their cloth to suit 6 years ago maybe they would have progressed year by year. Still in debt for millions to their Board, Invoices piling up, External Loans, Loan players and loans coming out of next season's ticket sales, Infighting between players and management, No management, A PR firm giving the orders, A corrupt criminal on the Board, A business plan based on European football 😂😂Club Tropicana, Credit Union Bears. A total cluster f*@k on and off the park, Elite players an alky on 28k a week! Happy days.

Funniest post I seen from sevconian was that we are rattled because SG might become their new manager. I posted but for some reason it didn't appear. just saying the only thing we rattled was 5 past them. too soon?

30 Apr 2018 23:04:00
I have absolutely no sympathy for Murty. He joined Rangers 2012 freely and was delighted to work for them and improve their youth players, to either make money for Rangers or/ and produce good young Rangers 2012 to improve Rangers chances against his entire family's club Celtic . This means I am happy to see him regarded by all Rangers fans as a total failure. . By accepting the poisoned chalice of Rangers manager's job he, now is facing the same ridicule as his predecessors.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 May 2018 13:26:22
We don’t feel sorry for him in a professional basis. It’s about him being scapegoated and the real threat to his mental health.

Im glad he failed, but, you have to feel for his health. He’s better out of it. The next victim of their over inflated expectations may well be announced this week.

Same drum banging, same bile, followed by same hysteria when we hand them their arse first game at CP next season.

They are already doing more tapping than a blind man’s stick. Where the money will come from is anybody’s guess. If they do find it I suppose their imminent crease I read about somewhere every day and have done for five years, will be postponed yet again.

The first thing Gerrard would want confirmed, is he will have money to buy a whole team. If he isn’t given that, he wouldn’t be even considering it. The fact talks are still ongoing suggests to me at least, that the back of the sofa has not yet been exhausted of its loose change.

I think we can put to bed the talk of administration. Someone is bankrolling this. The question is, how much.

Excellent shout out fro well respected french footie dude Philipe Auclair. Praising Odds On and Olly for choosing Celtic and playing 'real football'.

Questioned, respectfully i might add, by a french fan what real football, is he claimed real clubs need the connect with the fans and can't be to close to the corporate identity. Nice to see us being talked of so well over there. Going over to see friends in a week or so looking forward to seeing the reaction from PSG fans.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

30 Apr 2018 09:44:24
Olly is incredible and we have Edouard saying last night he loves the club and wants to stay. Build our team around these 2 stars. All you want from any player is to fall in love with our great club. Anyone who does not want to be at Celtic let them go they will find out like many before them the grass isn't always greener. Broonie is a fine example to all our young players what kind of career they can have at CP.

30 Apr 2018 10:10:09
I think it's great edourad saying he wants to stay, by the looks of it he's completely bought into everything celtic which is great to see, so he will go that extra mile for us.

30 Apr 2018 10:21:29
Me too Steve really hope we can get a deal done for him. He already looks like he can have a huge future in the game if we can be the club to get him tied down for a few years great. Also love how he has never complained about not gettig game time he has been the exact opposite. I think most players are enjoying working and developing under BR.

I agree Bhoys. Ntcham looks to have the lot and should only get better. Would I be sticking my neck out by saying that Edouard's overall game makes him a better prospect than Dembele?

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 11:31:27
Jim if Dembele does decide to go and we get big bucks for him i would be more than happy with Edouard and Griffiths with Aitchinson the 3rd striker, although i would rather see him out on loan next season as i just don't think playing against the same kids year after year is development at his age.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 13:45:03
Ideally, Stan I'd like MD, OE and LG all here next season in some capacity. But given what's been said on here I can't see it. If we don't trigger a permanent deal for Edouard then he could be off to Portugal. Would we buy him without selling Dembele? Can't see it myself. Like you, I'd be happy with Edouard. However I feel we might need two players, for Europe anyway, that are focal points like Dembele and Edouarde.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 15:10:16
No swaps no deal, buy the boy he a goal scorer and with a 5 year contract.

30 Apr 2018 18:16:33
Bhoys, look at the team. Hendry 20 yrs old. Ajar 19. Tierney 20. N’tcham 22. Edouard 20. Forrest 23. Then we have Ralston, 18. Aitchison 17. There are 8 quality players who all have the potential to be great. Then we have Koussai Mousonda who I believe will come good. Then add in Brown, Griffiths, and we have a very young team that will improve, so if we can add some new faces we should be on for 8 in a row.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 19:28:39
Not so long ago certain posters on here were discounting wee EO and stating not good enough even though he hardly started and even though when he did his goal ratio was excellent. I am just enjoying the "told you so" and that he is beginning to change a lot of peoples opinion.

30 Apr 2018 20:26:42
Kwaj it wasn't that long ago (Mongengladbach) people were saying the same about McGregor. Look at him now one of our most important players. Infact i would go as far to say that bhoy is world class we are lucky to have him.

Agree1 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 23:13:44
Wait a moment did we not get from a good source that Dembele wants to get a new contract and he and Edouard signing plus Griffith's we really will be strong up front . The next few months may be completely different from the last few years. In the last few years we have had almost daily contributions marking out Dembele's pending departure . IT seems we can all sleep contentedly .

Scott Brown is the best midfielder to grace our game in this country for the last 10 years. He has had his poor spells and injuries and personnel headache like everyone else, but when its mattered he has stood up to everything thrown at him. The abuse he has suffered from every team in Scotland he has played against is nothing short of criminal even opposition managers had a go at him on the tv.
Well Broonie in his testimonial year and sweeping up award after award is a testament to the man and leader he is God Bless Scott Brown his family.
