Sevco are exceptional in Europe and will win their group comfortably. You only have to look at the evidence.
Celtic are simply not good enough and will struggle big time. You only have to look at our unconscious bias.

Now that we know who we've got in the Europa Leagues group of death, will Scott Brown be risked to play most of the games? Or, is that where the inexperienced David Turnbull comes in? I'm not a fan of Ntcham's but it would be counter-productive to sell him at this stage if Brown doesn't feature in many of them.

I'd like to see us keep our top guys and go out and get a good LB/ LWB and the window would be the strongest for a long time. Brucie Bonus would be a RW as competition for Forrest - I liked the sound of the guy Kerk from Utrecht when we were linked with him in January. If it was up to me, I'd be willing to part with one player (probably Ntcham) to finance a couple of quality signings.

Yeah Ntcham can go for me. Trouble is will anyone actually bid for him. We are more than covered in centre mid and although he is a talent it is the one area of the pitch we can afford to sell.

Agree Kev. It's going to be a mad mental merry-go-round from now until close of day Monday now that we know who we've got in the Europa League and who we want. It's obviously the same for the other clubs in both competitions so stand by for the unexpected.

I know I will get flak for this but I would rather see Christie go than Ntcham.
Ntcham is a better all round player who knows how to find a player with a pass and also doesn't constantly blast the ball over the bar from 20yrd every chance he gets.

Mally Christie needs to settle down . he is infuriating. he gets in ahead of ntcham ( on that we agree) but the errors cannot simply go on mounting up . I am looking for more consistency . in saying that without the errors he'd be perfect and 50m .
Hence WHY suitors don't think he is worth the effort.

Christie is infuriating to watch sometimes and his passing last nite was woeful! But he runs himself into the ground for us and is involved in a lot of our goals! Ntcham while undoubtedly a talent, I just don’t get the fascination with him! He doesn’t score, he doesn’t assist much and let’s be honest looks like he couldn’t care less at times! If he was sold for decent money I honestly think u wouldn’t notice! Turnbull showed in 45 min that he’s more than capable of stepping in there if ntcham left! He’ll score more goals and get more assists than ntcham will!

I don’t think we have a surplus of talent in midfield that we can encourage anyone apart from the never available, Rogic to go, As is usual many of our supporters are either ridiculing Christie or Ntcham . To my mind both players although different style of players are very useful and both should be kept.

Ntcham is an outstanding player, the first season during BR tenure he ran the midfield along with Brown but for some reason along with Sinclair he never got a chance after that.
I would personally play McGregor, Turnbull and Ntcham as a midfield 3.

Now that we have qualified, the media will go raj again, saying that players are more likely to come to us (which i hope is true) and quoting everybody that hasn’t signed for another team. It will be nice to get a couple in to cover injuries but i hope we get a permanent deal for the LB/ LWB position for the sake of next season onward.

Celtic will find out tonight the schedule for our Europa games.
If it the same schedule Celtic’s group followed last season, the club from Pot 1 will be away to the club in Pot 4 first.
If it’s the same schedule as last season our games would be :-
Away to Lille, Home to AC Milan, Away and then Home to Sparta Prague, Home to Lille and we would finish away to AC Milan.

Yes it's a tough draw but l feel we are capable of coming out of the group. We all remember the group from last year and similar stuff being said. Hopefully by the time it gets going a percentage of fans are allowed back into the games. We have to remember these teams are in the Europa league for a reason too just like ourselves. Interestingly, between sparta ( 5 wins ) and ac milan and lille, none of the above have lost a domestic match this season

Lille are 2nd in ligue 1
Sparta are top with 100% record
And ac milan are 3rd and undefeated so far

This will be a real tough group to emerge from

We could be 2nd or last, playing at our best.

Equally, it is attractive and good for profile .

It was tough last season and again I don't see a weak team in there. Huge difference this time is obviously lack of supporters and atmosphere and although it could be a leveller, we would definitely be a different proposition in front of a packed Celtic Park.

Id sooner we have a group like this at least we know what were up against, when we play teams we should definitely beat in europe we seem to come unstuck. I think we will do ok in this group, all teams are battling for there leagues.

I'd be expecting us to aim for top spot we where in pot 1. We topped our group last season from decent opposition. Don't get me wrong each of our opponents are good teams but we can match and better them if we return to our best. Exciting group though.
