So Moenchengladbach were beaten 4-0 today by Schalke who had lost all their previous 5 games.
As I said in my earlier post about backing Spurs at 15/ 8 (bet £80 won £150) the Champions League does take a toll, even we struggled against Dundee which I also anticipated but at least we won.
What surprised me was Guardiola saying openly his City team "were exhausted" after Celtic game as it must have planted a seed of doubt in the manchester players' minds.

Poor Guardiolla was probably shocked by the continuous onslaught Celtic players put his highly paid City under.

{Ed007's Note - Guardiola probably went home and rattled a big bottle/pile of Nandrolone after Wednesday night. I was reading back about his drugs ban in 2001 and it turns out he appealed it and was given a 7 month suspended prison sentence in 2005!
Coincidentally it was in 2007 whilst in charge of the Barca B team while he was waiting to take over the first team that he was exonarated.
That's 28 months of suspended prison time between Guardiola and Messi - good job they're not at TRIFC or some Celtic fans might get upset about those kind of things, eh, Chris?}

We must beware of tiredness and fatigue immediately after German game on the Wednesday with t h e semi final looming the Sunday after. These Euro games do saap the strength. We managed to dig out a result v Dundee whilst City, Barcelona and M'bach were defeated. Gers will feel they have a point to prove, they'll have more rest time and no doubt the Hampden surface will be rutted from the other semi the day before. We should still have too much for Rangers to deal with and should win the day. Think all considered it will a much closer contest than 10 September.

br will need to decide which game is more important

which game to play Toure, Tierney, Rogic, Forest

and which game to play Simo, Izzy, Amstrong, Roberts (not to mention Ajer, Devries, Christie, O’Connell, McGregor)

Head is saying strongest 11 for BGM, Heart is saying play same/ Strongest for Ragers.

But surely that's too much for the players.

Could he put out a weakened team in the League cup? Would we let him away with that if we lost.

I must be the only one that dosent give a monkeys about the league cup, even if its against the first order, full strength in champs league for me, should still be able to change a few players for the sith lords game and do well enough,

Digibanger there doesn't seem to be problem in Brendan Rodger's mind about when to play Ajer, as Ajer isn't in Rodger's mind as a first team player .

On another note young Dembele, 13 years old is on the bench for tonight's development team (under 20)
