What about the following transfer targets for jan : Randolph (Motherwell), tested in Spl and not a big s***e bag like forster, matured a lot since his days at Charlton. Cuellar if he's still at Villa, commanding and proven at Spl level. Rhodes (Huddersfield), big strong forward, knows where the net is. Maybe a winger with pace, here the japanese boy from arsenal is being looked at, myiaichi, think his name is.

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Cuellar knows what team rules Scotland... no chance

Agree3 Disagree0

Sit on the bench at villa or be first choice centre back with a chance of playing in champions league group stages next year ??

Agree0 Disagree1

It's us & Motherwell for the Champions League pal

Haha 4 in a row! Cuellar?lmfao

Most likely Motherwell when u go into administration

When will the penny drop with some of you. Its the start of October and you are wanting another Celtic legend made redundant . Now we see desperate posts from the so called best fans in the world for Larrson to come in and wave the untried wand. Sorry but the facts are in black and white , no former Celtic player has brought great success as a manager. Will the money men open the tin and get a tried manager and back room staff ( BIG MONEY ) in or will they feed the fans with the same old Celtic family rubbish in the hope that you the supporters feed the top table again. The support has been led up the green tinted path with lies ,quotes and promises by John Reid the king of Spin and its about time him and the board spoke up and gave the fans the 5 year plan they said would be publishing. Neil Lennon has from the day he took the job looked out his depth and used by the board and watching him today giving his interview looked tired ,defeated and void of direction. Lets see the Lisbon Lions come out tomorrow and ask the board for answers .

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Jock Stein, Jimmy McGrory and Billy McNeill were ex-players that did no bad!

A few things to take from today

1) whoever is responible for the defense should be sacked we are worse than i thought.

2) Ledley and Kayal's workrate is vital.

3) lennons lack of faith is stokes is going to cost him his job

Drew, the tax evasion issue at Rangers is very relevant because they've been winning leagues for the past 10/15 years with players they couldn't afford. Any club could do that, however Celtic have always been solvent and the Rankers insolvent. Makes a mockery of their league wins over this time.

Even at this time they're insolvent!

Miko

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Sweep & deflect.... Hearts 2-0 Sellik, the league is over, 4 in a row, happy days

deal with it

Agree1 Disagree0

2 halfwit brain the tax issue is only relevant if RANGERS lose the case which RANGERS owners think they will win with the information & legal advice they have, I suppose you do not read the bits on this issue that you don't like so here are some bits on the case you don't like hmrc after 10 years have started citing companies on rules that they made themselves, thus the cases that have went 2 court they have lost just like ceptic have lost the title the last 3 years & looks like another title gone by bonfire night, see wee lenny on tap of the bonny the now & another thing how sick are you's going 2 be if we win the case imagine how much cash the ceptic board could have saved & think of all the players they could have said they were going 2 sign 2 win you's titles but they didn't because it is nice 2 have a good balance sheet f*** the trophies our fans want 2 see a good bank balance thats what keeps them happy, anyway am away to win the europa league at champ manager am still in europe just kiddin on like you's

I think we need to go for experience and a track record. Gordon Strachan does not have a club we should go back for him. If not we may slump to fourth or fifth. Dannybhoy

Believable1 Unbelievable3

I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH

Agree3 Disagree0

I have said previously, [and for some reason Ed refuses to show] that if NL did not have the Irish link the fans would not have the same acceptance of many situations. What would be being said if it was the likes of Craig Brown, Jim Jeffries etc in charge.

No strachan. owen coyle, moyes or lambert only options. cant see any as realistic though so we should keep lenny

Let's look to November, & wait & see the tax man result. Anyone on here self employed ? Or knows anyone whos had a tax case ? Well rangers fans the tax man doesn't leave a stone un turned also do you honestly think there is away out of that then your mad! Plus Craig tight said there's 10 million wage bill needing cut ? That 59 million ? Looks like admin is on the way !

Jan window will be interesting !

On the other hand fellow bhoys on the MON topic, he was/been liked with the man utd/arsenal etc so don't think he would come plus he left Celtic a real mess.

Come on you bhoys in green !
The last few games have been shocking but let's hammer these blue noses into the ground! (just now after saying that I pray Lennon does it)
Lenny

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Y even mention their tax case? Is it just to make yourself feel better coz we're an absolute shambles. This Celtic team doesn't have the guts or the fight to topple Rangers. League will be over by xmas. We will win the league next season but thats only because they will have to sell the majority of their best players in the summer. We cant get the job done on our own merits. Im ashamed of the club at the moment.

Drew

Agree3 Disagree1

We'll take Admin & still be top of the league

HAW HAW

Agree2 Disagree0

Couldn't care tbh, aye something is missing at Celtic right now but a said on the rangers page rangers will be top up in till Xmas time ish then after that it's down to business as long as we win the league & uses win nothing!

A will say something if rangers fans really thing CW will not sell one of his strikers & others then uses live in la la la

Come on you bhoys in green
Lenny

I Love Lennon! But 3 defeats already this season is not good enough! He seems to be a bit niave in some games we need someone to come in who can get these players playing only one man comes to mind!!
MARTIN O'NEIL!!! Come on Lawell bring him home!!

Gazcfc21

Believable3 Unbelievable1

Aye. I'd even bring in O'Neill for a single season and have Lennon work as his assistant or have O'Neill/Lennon as joint manager.

Purely statistically, I think Lennon's time is running thin and I'd consider bringing someone better in if given the option.

Having said that I also think it'd be harsh if he actually does get sacked as our league defeats are Hearts and Rangers who always nick points from us and St. Johnstone which was a one-off and probably won't happen again at Parkhead until I'm 6ft under. The circumstances of the Hearts defeat grates on me considering the importance of the fixture but not all games are as difficult.

I really want to see the guy succeed but I also don't think he's capable tactically and I really don't understand his team selections at times. He also should've brought in another central defender which for me is inexcusable considering our defensive record this season.

A helping hand would be in between sacking him (from position of manager) and letting him keep his job (and some responsibility) and could be useful to both him in terms of his development as a manager and the team performance.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be surprised if Celtic act before January..they will wait & see if NL can turn things around once all our dainty china dolls are back from injury and as much as it pains me to say it...they will wait on the outcome of the tax case.

Congratulations to the Celtic today. Despite the very poor referee decisions, the anti-Celtic brigade filling Tynecastle, and the giant cloud of Midges causing the two goals for Hearts, I thought Celtic played their best football in years.

The best news in over three years! Celtic to sponsor Nestle. In return, the deal will see over 50 kitkats being available for the Celtic squad at half time, to enjoy with their cup of tea.

Any truth in this ed?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

02 Oct 2011 19:52:30
I'm reading through the many posts tonight and trying to take a positive view on it all but the truth of it is there isn't one. We simply are not good enough. The facts / results for nearly every must win game go against us over the last few months. If i was operating a company that was doing so badly i'd expect to get the boot.

I stood in Parkhead on the last day of last season with the thousands of true Celtic fans showing our love and support for our team. Strangely although we lost the league was one of my proudest days as a Celtic fan ( i've bn a season ticket holder since our Hampden days so i've seen some good and some very very bad). At the end of that day i wished the season would start straight away. All the promises, all the passion. Everything was in place.

Then what happens, no meaningful summer signings. A goalie on loan, left back on loan and a striker who cant score (got plenty of them already).

Anyway i guess this rant is just a show of disappointment in the direction we are going. The football we are playing this season is nothing compared to even last season and the most interesting part of going to Celtic park is spending half of the inevitably boring game watching the green brigade.

Here's hoping for change one way or another

Gary

Believable1 Unbelievable0

U dont get it m8 ! when the board see the carry on at end of seaSON WHEN CELTIC CAME SECOND ,THEYRE LIKE OH LOOK THE FANS R HAPPY,they will buy season tickets its all good ,we dont need to spend money we dont need to improve ,over loyal nonsense celebrating second just cost another league to slip away

Agree3 Disagree0

No, sorry I'm with Gary on this. Last day of last season was entirely appropriate and was a matter of pride for me also. It was a recognition of progress, effort excruciatingly narrow deafeat, and a show of support for a manager who endured far too much. You may have misgivings about the ambitions of our board (i do too) but they are not stupid enough to think that we were happy to be second or celebrating the fact. Even they will have realised that it wouldnt be accepted for a second year and that progress would need to continue. I cant imagine that the positive behaviour of the support that day influenced in any way the summer strategy. If you want to blame someone look at the way the club is run etc, not the supporters. I'd sooner have the fans support the club that way than a load of glory hunters leaving at half time in a rage cos its not going their way. Last day of last season is what sets us apart from them and no way do i want our support to start behaving like them. Paul

Let's get a grip everybody! The league is not over. Its goin to be a mountain to climb with the way we're defending atm but if we win our game in hand and the remaining OF games we've got more points than rangers. It's not impossible. Rangers will hit a poor run at some point and it's up to the team to capitalise. A defender is also a must in january. Believe.
Kevbhoy

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Well said Kevbhoy, not an excuse but the injuries we have had are all to important players and long term, bears are trying to say they had injuries too but not to their more important men. Let them gloat league has long way to go.
For those wanting new manager, we need continuity, new manager would have to assess players and start again and would board give him the money, no.
We are different from other supporters we stick with our team, let's get back to supporting EVERYBODY at celtic park hail hail Mick the Bhoy

Agree1 Disagree3

Rangers have had their bad patch. Malmo, Maribor and Falkirk. They have only got to concentrate on one thing up until the new year. No one can blame injurys cause Rangers have had injurys aswell if not worse due to the small squad.

Agree4 Disagree1

It'll be difficult mate, don't see it, will continue to support the team but we can't lose any more games. Can we do that? Not sure!

No point in sacking the manager just yet though and we need Scott Brown back in that team, it's so obvious we miss him when we need some fight!.....Miko {Ed001's Note - do you not think that the problem is the lack of support he has in terms of backroom experience. When Dalglish first took over at Liverpool, Bob Paisley was there guiding him. Who has Lennon got in terms of managerial experience to guide him?}

Agree2 Disagree1

Are you ripping the pish...are you telling me lenny will be running round the piggery with the spl throphy?

Agree2 Disagree0

Aye awright.... the league isn't over HAHA

Agree2 Disagree0

You are right Kev the league is far from over and a lot can happen reading NL after match comments on telly text ( as he didnt show again after match) he says he needs to change things and change em fast.

in all honesty i think that has been his problem all along he is constantly changing things even Celtic fans dont know who their starting 11 is

Your talking about playing our 2nd team in the europa cup. Don't talk rubbish. I've paid over £200 on my tickets for me and my sons and if they did play a 2nd team I will never Attend another game again. I will send the 3 season tickets back and ask for a refund. Get off lennons back you morans. We should be like Rangers fans they are loyal to there club. Not like us most of the fans that attend parkhead are gloryhunting bigots. I'm ashamed to be a Celtic fan sometimes. Ive got to hold my youngest sons ears with all the sectarian vile the fans shout. Its got to stop. That's the end of my rant Ed. Sorry.
Daviebhoy

This was taken from this page at 15:14. I totally agree with you daviebhoy. I've experienced the exact same thing mate. I've had to walk out the ground at halftime with my son because of the vile sectarian names that get shouted. The police and stewards do nothing about it. I got called all the names under. The sun because I reported it to the police. I had to get my season tickets changed to another part of the stadium but that's just as bad if not worse. I've emailed Celtic. Asking if I can cancel my season tickets and get a refund. Still waiting on a reply.
Mark.

do you have to win the treble before christmas to be a succesful celtic manager , oneill lost as many titles as he won and is idolised tommy burns won 1 trophy and that that team played the mytyical celtic way according to some, strachan won as many titles as oneill but was hounded out of celtic park for not being a celtic man and not playing this celtic way mowbray wasnt wantedfull stop now lennon is getting at thr start of only his second season wile having to totally rebuild a team has this gone unnoticed , he is trying to get us back to the level we want but has inherited a mess left by downsizing and lack of investment since oneil left sacking lennon now is a step backwards , who do we get , will he get money will he win lennon should be given the rest of the season to try and turn it around and if not make a change in the summer . or is it sack every manager from now on who loses a couple of games so is it faithful through and through or fickle through and through

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Give lennon a long term deal then rangers will go 10 in a row

Agree4 Disagree0

Well its guy like you were in the mess were in. Every manager deserves at least a year a half if they manage the old firm regardless of results. Were a paying the price of hiring a manager who appeals to the half wits out there. Its absolute disgusting what happened to Neil but he has no experience and no qualifications for the job. We should have gave Mogga a chance lennon has spent a fortune on this team and we are absolute mince at the moment. Get commons out. He joined us instead of Rangers over money. Then opened his fat gob saying Celtic were younger fitter and better and we all know Rangers made him eat his words. Then this season he turns out to be fatter that mr blobby. He let Lennon down big time today and won't get a sniff again under Lennon. If he does I won't be back at parkhead while Lennon is there.

Are we not expecting too much of Neil Lennon? He is a complete novice in management. Arguably the most successful manager of all time (Sir Alex Ferguson) made his mistakes and gained experience at provisional clubs. The support team Neil Lennon appointed is also completely devoid of managerial experience. In terms of man management and other managerial aspects what experience do Thompson etc have to call upon when required?

Is it not time to appoint an experienced ex-manager to mentor Neil Lennon?

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Neil Lennon is becoming worse then mowbaray if you really think that's acceptable your lost in the head and Alex Ferguson is a total different is in a total different planet hies the best for a reason Neil Lennon hasn't got it full stop

Unlike Ferguson, Stein, Rednapp etc he has not been allowed to make mistakes and gain experience at provisional clubs. The support team he appointed is also completely devoid of managerial experience. Is it not time to appoint an experienced ex-manaber to mentor Neil Lennon?

I am actually amazed the man retains his sanity given the high profile nature of his job coupled with the off field problems of the last year! For what it's worth my suggestion for an experienced figure would be George Graham ex Arsenal.

Lets look at the facts:
Foster= no better than Zaluska
El Khaduri= Anyone from midfield could do a better job.
Matthews= Worse than Wilson.
Forrest= no better than Mcginn
Bangura = Up there with some of our worst strikers ever to pull on a hoops top.
Juarez= Better than any midfielder we had on the park today.
I could probably go on. All Lennon signings. Times is up pal. I hate to say it but were going backwards under Lenny and i worry where it might end.

Pumped!! Scott Brown has his detractors, however it's evident that the team lacks any fight or drive without him in it, of that there is absolutely no doubt! We needed that at Tynecastle today and no one stepped up to the plate.

Front pairing should have been Stokes/Hooper and Commons screwed up big time.

I'm not sure what's going on this season, I thought Lennon was a better manager than Fat Sally after what I considered to be a successful debut season for him, however I'm now thinking that he's just as crap!

Team selection baffles me, what's happening Ed? We can't lose any more games from now until the end of the season. Are we capable......eh, naw!!

Miko {Ed001's Note - Lennon picked a team he thought he could win, doesn't make sense to me either but he is still learning.}

The truth is in the boardroom the dug out and on the pitch, we cannot keep being conned into by false promises . Our Chief- exec is moving to premiership early next year, our Chairman is moving out this month and our management team could be away before both of them .Our club don't have a real Celtic captain. Our squad even with injuries are short of quality. You don't need to agree you only need to be honest.

We need to make sure we stay as close as we can to Motherwell so we can pip second spot. In the words of NL this is just the beginning. Hail hail

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I won't settle for 2nd place..not this season !! We only lost 4 games all season last yr with the same team ...we need the whole 9 points from the 3 OF games and no more slip ups..end of !

Agree0 Disagree1

Neil Lennon has already said it is gonna be difficult and it isn't the beginning its the end face up to the facts rangers are champions for four in a row Neil Lennon doesn't look comfortable Neil Lennon doesn't look like a manager he never gets anything right so do your self's a favor and admit to yourself that the league is over if yous don't yous are just setting yourself up for failure enjoy the rest of your day don't let it annoy yous to much
4 in a row in ally wee trust cmon the gers

Agree2 Disagree0

Fek this ed.im away to the motherwell banter.theres no banter here...merchants of doom...the only chance celtic have is if the tax man intervenes..even then a 10 point deduction for the rangers still leaves celtic 3rd.

What is going on at Celtic Park... I know we have a few injuries to our best players and i'm trying to find a way to be positive but the team look they don't care and have no soul - this is the biggest concern for me ?!

rangers can laugh and joke all they want, they are not my concern and have enough issues of their own.

Believable2 Unbelievable3

We don't fight together as a team, too many individuals in the side who can't be bothered.

Agree3 Disagree0

So why mention them if they are not your concern.

Agree3 Disagree0

Yes maby wee have got a view problems but at least were 10 points clear without even spending a million pound so haha and say we did go into administration and drop 10 points a reckon we would still win the league what was that yous lot were saying mcoist was getting sacked before December well it looks like your manager will be out of a job before the end of October

Agree3 Disagree0

Rangers 10 points clear before the new year ...

Agree3 Disagree0

Izzy, Kayal and Ki are quality players but none of them has the fight of Naismith or even Lafferty and that is the difference. We need more players who play for the jersey.

Agree2 Disagree0

Nothing like the lions of ibrox..what does it take to put this team down..everyone in the blue has fire in there bellys evrytime they take the field..

Agree2 Disagree0

As I said & I knew you would..laugh & joke all you want. I will bide my time, which is coming very soon..I just wish NL had 6yrs under his belt the way McCoist has, Ally's been such a runaway success - i'm jealous.

Agree1 Disagree1

Has celtic fans not said celtic have a bigger squad and better players than rangers if so where are they 4 in a row keep lennon as manager for 9 years

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Oct 2011 16:12:08
no izzy wilson ledley kayal brown, thats half of our best starting 11 , so a bit of perspective required so this was always a difficult game , the worrying point is still the same we need a goalkeeper quality centre back and a target man striker as none of our forwards can mix it or win headers , now come come jan and the board dont back lennon we blame them and make it known in no uncertain terms but if they do back lennon and he doesnt addressit then its time for him to go i prsonally think a fully fit team only needs three -four additions in the above positions to become a good team,

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Well that's us been to Tynecastle & Ibrox with half a team...but, what if things don't improve. For me, its not these 2 defeats, it was the St Johnstone at home that was the biggest kick !

Agree0 Disagree0

Its a squad game not a team game apparently. So to say we had a few players out doesnt cut it im afraid. Lennon signed half the players on show today. They were brutal. Time to go Lenny. In Lenny we dont trust whatsoever

Agree0 Disagree0

Half a team ,your manager chose to change things about, dont try and blame injuries on your defeats loser

Agree2 Disagree0

Half a team at Ibrox. Lmao off. That was your best apart from Izaguire. You were thumped by the better team, accept it and move on mate.

Agree3 Disagree0

Did wilson not come on so must have been fit dont use that as an ex cuse

02 Oct 2011 16:09:46
Y did NL not do an after match interview?? When it all goes wrong he blanks the media then blames them! I think he should be answering the questions that us fans want answered. I for 1 grudge paying for my season ticket when the manager can't come out and put his hands up and admit his mistakes - of which there have been many. Any of these fans that go to the games thinkin Lennon is doing a good job must be wearing a blind fold. The problem as i see it is that there is no heart. No firebrand willing to give out bo***kings to his team mates when it's required. If you look back before NL we have always had that, particularly with himself. I said since day 1 that he was the wrong man for the job. I think Owen coyle must be under pressure and he would be a great manager for us but with things the way they are we could not afford him. What does everyone else think.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I think you should turn your back to the s**t you watch on the pitch and do the usual pozman,,is not being second rate what you celebrate with a passion?

Agree1 Disagree0

Gonna be third rate if we keep playing like this.

Agree1 Disagree0

I heard NL on the radio..he was on about lack of discipline esp with 1 player in particular !

absolutely shocking to see just how far Celtic have fallen since the dizzy heights of Martin O'Neill and even Gordon Strachan. We have gone from a strong Champions League quality outfit to an English League 2 level at best. What happened to this boards ambition? We once boasted lineups including Larsson, Sutton, Hartson, Petrov, Van Hooijdonk, Di Canio....the list goes on, and now we are reduced to this shower of muppets. Lennon is a legend but he is not up to managing this club. He has insisted on signing Forster possibly the worst keeper in the English Premier Reserve League. Ok Kayal, Ki, and Izaguire are good but the rest of Lennon's signings are dire. I used to travel over to Glasgow from Ireland regularly to watch the games when we had a decent squad, but I am not going to waste my hard earned cash on this shambolic mess. We were not capable of winning against Udinese's reserves during the week, that says it all. Time for the board to buck up their ideas, spend some cash and give back to the fans who make this club great and Lennon should have the honesty to admit he is not up to it and resign.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

If a new manager came in & it was the same set of players would we play better ?

Taking in all facts,Lennon bringing back the thunder to the team & the bust up with commons etc etc ?

Also does anyone think team moral is shot to bits ? Because ever since we lost in Perth & commons was 'not fit to play' we look lost

I said all along (previous posts) that the Europa games were just too big an 'Ask' for NL and this team. It causes injuries and fatigue and as we can't buy a win - it drains confidence.
Also as we are the only Scottish team in Europe it gives our rivals more 'rest' time and we end up chasing points playing on a Sunday.
All that said... We look very short of ideas on the pitch and on the bench! Yes we had a few key men missing, but we needed to be up for a game like that and we were lacking very badly.
Wanyama was the only 'tackler' in midfield IMO and he and Mulgrew did well But we lose awfull easy goals and I think to get the best out of Hooper, we need Stokes in the team.
Sad times and I don't see a quick fix - and sacking the manager gets you Mick McCarthy or Steve Kean

Believable3 Unbelievable1

How can u say its cuz of Europe rangers have done it for the past 3 yrs with a much smaller team your team just second rate m8 face facts

"to get the best out of Hooper, we need Stokes in the team" i am a rangers fan and i can even see that why cant Lennon ?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Oct 2011 15:23:14
Not seen the game only listened to bits of it, so I can't coment on it but judging by the posts we were gash.

Said it a number of times Europe is just a plan B for next years manger, Lennon or not if he wins the league it's transfer money if not it's money to get a new manager. As said below TM never got away with it & now I feel this could be the start of the end for Lennon, unless he grabs this by the balls! A think last year he was unlucky league/cups. But I feel if he loses to teams like hibs next week & maybe a Motherwell away or something and points keep dropping people will be outside parkhead calling for his head just like TM.

I like Lennon think he's good at his job, but think hes too arrogant to listen other peoples thoughts on how to pick a team ie Hartson in the sun talking about samaras.

Come on you bhoys in green
But this has too change fan fav or not!

Hi ed. V disappointing game. I had a bad feeling when I saw the team that it was going to be hard to get the win. When you take izzy, kayal, leadly and suppose you can mention Scott brown out of the team it's a huge loss. I think Lennon should forget about Europe. Put out a second string team because we are not going to win it. It's killing us. We haven't the squad to cope. Lennons team selections are very strange. Hooper and stokes are the best strike partnership in the spl why dose he keep breaking them up?? We need to get everyone back quick because we can't deal with to many important injuries. We are a very young side with lots of quality. V wanyama is v impressive. The jury is still out on bangura he's got the skills don't know if he's a striker. I know everyones hurting but stay calm bhoys. Sacking Lennon is not the answer. Who do u bring in? The new guy then dismantles a very good quality young squad and starts rebuilding again. It's not over to may. Am keeping the faith. Bigirishmac

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Face it m8..its over.yes the europa league is taking its toal..i agree you need to play a second team in that compo.i think the spl winners are auto group stages for the champs league next season..m8 celtic have just been had..it seems celtic have sacrificed the spl tittle for a run in a compo they cant win...and we are all smiling over in govan

Agree2 Disagree1

Lafferty naismith and jelly are the best strike force in the SPL mate.
c-bear85

Agree5 Disagree2

What the hell are you on about a v good young squad. We're terrible. We can't beat a pish St Johnstone , Hearts, a poor Rangers (who else have they taken 4 goals off of or even looked close to it) not to mention an Udinese reserve team, Sion.... the list goes on. And as for keep calm and keep the faith and all that rubbish well that time has passed. It's now time for action. We have to say thanks but no thanks Neil. Forget the thunder, passion drivel. Get us a bloody team on the park that we can all be proud of once again !!!

Gary

Agree1 Disagree0

Fed up listening to - Rangers are poor, rest of the spl rubbish etc blah blah. What the hell does that make us. We are dross and the sooner some fans take off the green tinted specs and admit the truth, the better.

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry.

Lennon has lost the thunder, he has no plan "B" when things go wrong, i never wanted him as manager in the first place, Another "John Barnes" not enough experience.Because he played for Celtic does not mean he will be a great manager, has made to many bad choices in team selections and signings, time for him to go before it gets really bad. We need someone who the players will respond to and respect i say push the boat out and bring Martin Oneill back.

Not jumping on the Band Wagon - I'm driving it!
Said last week about Neil Lennon not having a clue and how our Euro reputation was in tatters Now we are third in our domestic league losing 30% of our games so far....and its 2nd of October!!
Last season he had the players and fans behind him all the way while he put up with horrendous abuse and death attempts etc. (Which no football manager has suffered before because of religion or affiliation)
We are all sympathetic to that, but he has clearly lost the players belief and confidence and before the supporters lose patience and empathy he must go.
At Tynecastle you expect a battle and Ki, Forrest, Commons and Hooper to name just 4 do not scrap and dig for the team - injuries or not we have been a shadow of last season and have forgot how to win.

Come on we are Celtic supporters, those morons on other side are loving it as we argue among ourselves. Lets all stick together, yes it was a poor result and yes Lennon made changes, but if they had worked he would have been a hero. Sadly I do think the european games are taking a toll on us as we seem to tire after euro games, maybe that is why changes were made.
Tony, yes I am new to posting on here, but you showed your intelligence level by first insulting me and then your reply, you are a sad individual. You can only post insults, not constructive arguments.
Celtic will be back stronger and when we do sad individuals like you with no class will be made to eat their words, gloat while you can as you are bereft of morals. Mick the Bhoy

Given there's a 10 point gap and what happened at Tynecastle last season his team should be fired up and making damned sure they win the game. Instead they're defending like kids on a playground. Wouldn't say Hearts created much during the game but it's difficult to begrudge them the victory when they defended so well and we were so bloody pathetic in all areas.

Our players didn't turn up but they're not bad players it's how they're being used and motivated and it is this aspect which is far too inconsistent to be a side challenging for the title. Hearts take points off the OF every season but given the importance of the fixture this result is completely unacceptable for a side clawing back a 10 point lead. However, their manager had a game plan, something Lennon has clearly never heard of.

Lennon must go. If he stays this season, Rangers will win the league. His transfer activity during summer wasn't good enough, his tactics and team selection are woeful and his substitutions and attempts to change a game are utterly pathetic. He hasn't got the experience or know-how to take the club forward. After the Mowbray disgrace he was the cheap and easy option when the club needed someone good to get us out of trouble.

Sack Lennon, now.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

Ffs give lenny a chance.hes a rookie

Agree1 Disagree2

Which is exactly why he shouldn't be doing the job. Celtic is too big a club for a rookie manager. The expectations and demands of the job are far too great. Tactical experimentation in the course of learning your trade at Celtic can be the difference between winning or losing the league.

His start to the season has been unacceptable for a club like Celtic. 3 defeats and it's only October - we lost 4 games all season last year. Under Lennon this season I simply can't see us getting anywhere near to equalling that. We should be improved as we lost no-one in the window, but instead Lennon continually makes bad team selections and poor tactical judgement.

it doesn't take quality to win the SPL it takes fight which we don't have! To be 10 points behind a club that's on it's knees is a joke! One thing lenny can't install in his players is the passion and desire that he had! I think his time might be up and the players need to take a long hard look at themselves!

Celtic seem to be playing the game as though it is like Yank football, each movement is a play.
It looks like this to me because if there is a deflection and it looks like the Celtic player could catch the ball keep it in play, keep the game moving, they dont they let it run out of play, break up the play.
They are just not ruthless enough, they let the Hearts keeper take his time with the ball after a pass back.
I do not understand, everyone hates Celtic lets give them a reason to hate us, be ruthless punish every team.

ref

People would take you more seriously if you were willing to debate sensibly and listen to other people's point of view

my post was in reply to a moron who suggested that Rangers should be striped of their 9 in a row if they lost the tax man how can you debate sensibly with half wits like that

Alright ed, i seen you post below about 2 points for a score draw n that. I think a point a goal would be a better idea?

c-bear85 {Ed001's Note - that would be too many points I think, though it might be worth a try.}

Ref "you are one sad little puppy" Tony
All you do is come on here when rangers win, you are never about when they get beat like all the time in europe you disappeared like snow off a dyke. You are the sad one with nothing better to do but try and get one over on the celtic fans. At least you get the opportunity to spout your rubbish on here, on gers site all you get is told to f off.
You boasted you were a season ticket holder why were you not at game today? too wet for you ha ha
People would take you more seriously if you were willing to debate sensibly and listen to other people's point of view but sadly like all gers fans you are blinkered to the truth. I saw your posts on blue order as you tried to ass lick back in with your own bears who despise you also. Mick the bhoy

Mick the bawbag

this must be one of the first posts ive seen of yours and if you would like to ask Ed007 Miko Paddybhoy they will tell you im the first one on here to stick it to you when we or you lot lose and im always the first on to take it back if we lose or you lot win.

its hard to be on when we lose as we have only lost twice this season and as for being a season ticket holder well m8 i am my only problem is i live in the highlands now and do miss the occasional game i might not be able to be at every game but i still buy my ticket as for getting told to f off on the rangers site has never happened im not on there that much cause im on here ripping the pi5h out of paranoid androids like you did i hit a raw nerve m8 are you beginning to panic a little in NL we trust begining to fade or is it simply the fact that rangers could in theory get deducted 10 points and still win the league dont worry m8 if you drop points today you can always reach for the tax man security blanket

The ref for today's game craigybhoy Thomson said any more rain before or during the game and the game will be off. Craigybhoy said he's doing everything he can to get the game played so Celtic can claw back 3 point. Craigybhoy said he will do everything in his power to ensure Celtic get the win lol.
