A motion is lodged at the Court of Session to wind-up Edinburgh-based Heart of Midlothian football club.
- BBC website {Ed007's Note - I said about Campbell Ogilvie the other week, he was worth looking into.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Scottish football needs to get a grip, I don't need to go into our problems as a Rangers fan, Hearts in bother, celtic 3rd in the league.... what I would give for Saturday kick-offs at 3pm, all the clubs in good nick, no stupid SPL split and a exciting battle for the title between the old firm and the 2 from Edinburgh {Ed007's Note - Well said mate, take a bow.}

Have a feeling that this clowning around on the training pitch - neck brace joke etc - was stage managed for the cameras as it appeared on all the main sports news/press conferences.
After slating the players after the Hibs game, NL has had to back them going into the 2 games that his future hinges on... Maybe there was a 'Clear The Air' meeting or maybe the Board bent his ear? But this new-found jovial team spirit seems a bit forced.
I sincerely hope the manager and his faltering squad understand that the supporters are certainly not laughing at the moment.

I fear if we plod on dropping points & Rangers do go into Administration and sell players etc, this season could become a farce ! I want decent football - chrissy

05/11/2011... The day the league will be won. Goodbye Neil Lennon, you're laughable management skills and petty outbursts and excuses will be missed by all at Ibrox. But your troublemaking and attitude will NOT be missed. The nation can't wait to get rid of you.

Mon the 'Well.

Steven {Ed007's Note - Did you work that out with a calculator? So mathematically Rangers can win the league this weekend? I doubt that mate, get a new abacus.}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Nah just banter... Cause it's already finished anyway!

Steven {Ed007's Note - Sorry, I thought it was a fact you were posting in.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Celtic don't play Motherwell until the 6th....

I see the Hearts boss is in bother..possible ban due to his attitude and outbursts. Do I hear an outcry ?! funny that

The nation can't wait to get rid of you.What nation would that be , the nation of bottle merchants who post idle and bigoted threats on bigoted websites and send bullets and death threats.Go away bawbag.....DH

Agree2 Disagree0

What a stupid post...is this the same nation that also has Paulo Sergio sent to the stand, Terry Butcher constantly ranting, Aberdeen fans heckling an injured player etc etc etc AND there's also the EPL where players refuse to come off the bench, the England captain's 'reputation' in disrepute again ?!

Neil Lennon isn't the problem, attitude's like your's are

...Shame on you

Not a celtic rumour but a good one for their fans Chic Young has just chalanged vladimir romanov to a boxing match. After Romanov challanged a journalist from lithuania to a boxing match. Tasty I would pay to see that.

A few things that dont add up.

Lennon has said he has had no bust up with any players includiong chris commons.

Why was commons quoted on twitter as saying he was not injured when neil lennon said he was?

Why did lennon say he was prepared to name and shame the players and today say his players were brilliant since he has taken over.

I feel as a life long celtic supporter Neil is starting to take the piss. One story for the fans one day after a bad result another story another day for players before a big game. Either back the players you pick or dont. Dont take your status as a legend and think we the fans will eat up any rubbish.

Am seriosly questioning lennon as manager as are so many other friends and family. Its seems he tries to talk the talk but cant walk the walk. LMG {Ed007's Note - Commons said on Twatter he was fit but NL said he came in on the Saturday complaining of a tightness in his thigh, don't train the day before a game chances are you won't play, I asked Commons this myself on Twitter, he never answered and then stopped using it.}

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Don't believe there is no difficulty between manager and players kris commons has been sidelined for weeks.not just because of injury or suspension nl is now grasping at straws name and shame last Saturday proud of his players today why? He needs two big performances Rennes and fir park needs players on his side .his selections tactics etc are to blame also why do players who played well last season suddenly stop performing clearing the air is good need performances now

Tony, Germinator, first things first of course we Celtic fans are going to gloat over tax case, your lot would do the same. Please remember also that anything that happens to Rangers was caused by Rangers FC and nobody else.
The two of you give us an honest opinion of Whyte, from Celtic end he looks like a conman, a "billionaire" with no money? he makes promises but does not keep them, what business would put monies into their accounts planning that they do not have (ie champions league monies)
All his companies are secretive and in tax havens, not the best to trust.
Now we learn he has taken out a loan at big interest to keep club afloat. Be honest all you rangers fans must be worried sick that this guy is in charge.
Lets get some reasoned responses. hail hail Timalloy

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I have no doubt some of mr whyte business dealings are a bit dubious to say the least and i do think he is manoeuvring Rangers into administrations but i will be very surprised if he does not have a plan to come out of it smelling of roses he is ruthless as we all know he will run rangers as a business first and a club second i have nothing but respect for Sir David Murry but he ran the club as a fan not as a business. i dont pretend to know what is going on but neither does anyone on here everything is just conjecturer all us mere mortals can do is sit and wait and let things unfold you must admit our plight off field gives you a welcome distraction from your plight on field.

Tony

Agree2 Disagree0

BBC were do anti whyte it was unreal, yet whyte goes to stv does a interview but doesn't state his wealth ? Also says his record speaks for its self ? What record ? Aye your a millionaire but how well have your last 5 companies done ? Why not get the companies that you have turned around get them in the media or stv & get them to tell the people who are anti whyte that he has money there to do the business ?

Said it b4 but can't remember if ed 1 posted it. Murray had rfc up for sale for 4 years, the 1st real offer comes in & he bites the hand off & now where is Murray ? He's not done a interview since the take over ? Whyte has done a deal so if it goes boo boo he walks away with all his money ?

As my fellow Tim, Timalloy said its rangers mess thats caused this, signings like a 12million flo etc. & if it was us in that mess rangers fans would be giving it us tight.

In all seriousness tho if I was a rangers fan, there would be a 100 & 1 questions that need answered but it seems they just dingy it & are just happy there 12 points clear of us.

Come on you bhoys in green
Lenny {Ed007's Note - I try to avoid arguing with other Eds on sites, we do enough if that behind the scenes!!!}

Agree1 Disagree0

Everyone of us rangers fans are well aware that it is Rangers own fault for the mess we are in we know its not the Banks Fault,the refs fault, the weathers fault and you are also right we would be giving it to you tight things could be worse we could be going through all this and be 12 points behind celtic but lets be grateful for small mercy's eh just as some of our fans are more interested that we are 12 points ahead of you and are dingying our off field problems there is an equal amount of celtic fans that are more interested in our finances and they ar dingying the fact that celtic are heading for an implosion on the field

Tony

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol, Yeh I am a quivering wreck, just constantly biting my nails, worrying about something that I cannot influence. Not really, since when has worrying done anything positive for anyone? If the worst happens, so be it, mt health won t deteriorate over it- but thats just my take on it.

Germinator, what the hell are you on about re Dermott Desmond ? Celtic are run as a business and quite efficiently too. We're not much to shout about on the field at the moment but away back into your cave somewhere if you think Dermott Desmond is personally bankrolling us. I'm sure he has put some money in as all investors do and there were rumours he was paying the wages of Bellamy, Keane etc but if he was to walk away someone else would buy his stake and we would get on with it. Running as a business is usual.

I'm more concerned that we are that poor on the field that poor season tickets and merchandise sales will have a bigger impact but let's wait and see eh

Gary

Re:eh ? I never talked about rangers spending money this isnt an arguement over how much gers have spent ..... calm down and read the post properly .... Im not saying that Desmond has been pumping millions and millions into the club either but he is there if needed.

What i was saying is that Lennon and Mowbray are soley to blame for not winning leagues.... the board gave them both enough money to build teams capable of winning the SPL. The money gers have spent this year proves it. The facts are there .... Lennon was given enough money to buy players and pay their wages ... a bigger amount than any other club in the league ...sorry the country .... he ahs no excuses he picks the players , he signes them he trains them. Motherwell and rangers have spent less than celtic this year and are both performing better.

Mowbray and Lennon are celtics failures not the board. the board might not have went over the top but they defo gave them enuf to suceed

Germinator

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Fair enough mate. I mis-read the initial post and put too much emphasis on the fact that Desmond is our financial backer. I have no idea how much he puts into us so therefore it's unfair to pass judgement

I actually agree with the point your making

With records released on the Companies House website confirming that Rangers have given a fixed charge security over their assets to an English finance company called Close Brothers, it is clear that Whyte is selling the family silver in return for delaying insolvency. The news that Rangers came within a few hours of having a winding up petition approved against them yesterday is quite remarkable. That Whyte has had to resort to the desperate end of the corporate finance spectrum shows how close to the edge things have become.

The END is nigh.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Ha ha unamed poster you stole my thunder, I was just about to post same thing, but I have posted on rangers site too. maybe you did not know but it has also been reported that Rangers came within hours of a winding up petition yesterday, hence this panic loan at the high end of interest loans. hail hail Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree1

Who owns close brothers lolololol

Agree0 Disagree0

You better hope the end is not nigh for Rangers mate because i dont think you actually realise how much the old firm depend on each other.

if Rangers were no more what type of tv deals would be offered as of now its a pitance without the attraction of rangers it would be less or non existant, and before you go on and bleat about Celtic not needing that cash that may be so but believe me the remainder of the SPL clubs need it as much as they need to play Rangers 4 or sometimes 5 times a season without this much needed cash you can say goodbye to most of those clubs and scottish football as a whole.

so be very careful for what you wish

Tony

Agree5 Disagree1

Just to confirm all above, I also posted same on Rangers site but their ed has not put it up, head in the sand time again. Anyway it is estimated that Whyte needs minimum of £15m to keep going until transfer window. He was counting on champions league money hence this panic loan. He has no plan he is hoping against hope he can either somehow win tax case or do a vastly reduced deal to pay back monies. hail hail Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree1

Or......................just maybe, he might have a wee plan. You seem to know though.

Agree0 Disagree1

Of course he has a plan. Mortgage more money from a finance company, funds which will see him through to the next transfer window where he will start to sell off the high earners to raise monies to cover the tax bill.

Agree1 Disagree0

Timalloy, sorry for stealing your thunder. Here's a good question; CW agreed to wipe the £18millon debt if he wins the taxcase but he has just mortgaged rangers assets with close brothers so how could he wipe the debt if close brothers now hold the fixed charge? {Ed007's Note - He always promised to wipe the debt if they won the 'big' case.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, but if Close Brothers hold the fixed charge on all Rangers assets then they get their money first should everything go belly up whereas with the floating charge CW got his money first. {Ed007's Note - I said weeks ago about who owned the floating charge on Rangers debt and was again called a liar, no one had made an official statement regarding it, because that is who would become the receiver. HMRC would get their money first before anything. HMRC always get what they are entitled to, but players contracts can become void etc, to be renegotiated or they can leave for nothing.}

sport.stv.tv/football/scottish-premier/rangers/277010-what-happens-when-a-football-club-goes-into-administration/

Why is big Johann still not been given a revised contract , why has broony the captain not signed the contract on the table , why was big sammy given a new contract , Why was the manager given an improved contract , why dont Glasgow Celtic have thier own first team goalie , what club sport scientist gave commons the go ahead and beef up and come back in august clearly not in shape or fit. Where is the boards 5 year plan as promised would be published in October. I agree that somethings should stay in house , but these are very big issues that need to be aired. Imagine the boost the club would get if some contracts were signed and commons came out publicly and admitted right or wrong him and the manager are united. Think of the young players and what would that mean to them i.e forrest , ki , hooper and kayal.The board have came out at other times to show thier hand and help the club why are they so silent .

Believable4 Unbelievable0

I don't know who you are? But I share a lot of the same concerns... The support are all-too-often taken for granted when there are major issues affecting the club and we are the last to know the facts.

Now Lenny is saying he'll know when it's time to go. If he's thinking about that for even a second then the time for him to go has arrived. We all know you want to do the job right Lenny, we all know you have passion for the club...all we ask is that you show respect for the fans and do the honest and decent thing. You can walk now with your head held high and you'll be welcome in Paradise anytime BUT if you keep this debacle going and make it too difficult for someone else to change then you're going to test the patience of the fans too far. Please do the right thing......and take that bunch of halfwit helpers with you.

celtic fans just dont realise that the chances of them getting the same sorta financial backer if Desmnd pulled out are almost sero.
Ask yourself this would Walter Smith have lost the league with celtics budget or salary cap.. or even the current squad?

there just isnt enough strong minded players at the club that when the chips are down will roll the sleeves up and get others to the same. also the team has no solid foundation that will help the midfield and forwards. we have a goalkeeper that could go back to his own club at any time, and izzy apart the defence is very poor and disorganised, they are playing with a fear and that is evident by the amount of times the get over the half way line . This is the reason the manager should go . He has created this and he has had the money and transfer windows to sort it . the reason I call him the manager is to take all emotion away from who he is and focus back on our club , We are losing to many goals to make us serious challengers for the league and teams have no fear against us and are sitting in inviting us to push up then we get hit on the break when the defence is isolated from the midfield and the gaps and mishape is breached. very basic.
