Did big Fraser Forster get in the Ladbrokes team of the season?
The Sevco fans were campaigning hard but the last time I see it, The Wall was 3% ahead.

Whats the deal with Klimala and soro 5.5 million on these 2 players who clearly were not ready for the first team.

WAS eddy ready right when he signed. they'll be fine after a good pre season.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jun 2020 19:14:30
Eddy was a bit 'raw' but the potential was very evident and being our most expensive signing came with a slight burden but high hopes.
The January signings were meant to 'hit the ground running' in NL's own words, but along with Shved and Bayo, we are still waiting.
I sincerely hope we see some encouraging signs pre-season - along with a few quality additions to set the bar for a banner season.

Eddy wasnt our most expensive signing when he first came in. He sat on the bench for quite a while before properly breaking in to the team.

Not sure about either but have a feing Klimala will flop.

03 Jun 2020 11:35:56
what gives you that feeling.
big jump for both of them soro lad great signing hope he gets a chance but the only way that will happen is if calmac broony etc play poor get injured or leave, but those two want the ten so will play for it,
as for Klamila not seen much of him at least give him a year he's got something give it time lenny bought both for the future but in the end both never really got a chance as lenny had got the tactics spot on.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Lennon didn't have anything to do with either Soro or Klimala signing.}

03 Jun 2020 15:42:33
That's the thing that gets to me - "he wasn't my signing so I'll not play him". Does it really matter? After all the Manager is an employee of the company and would show a failure to follow a reasonable request to carry out an instruction given. The Manager knows that players may not be to his specification - he should be bringing out the best to ALL in his charge and not just a chosen few.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It isn't Neil Lennon's job to sign players - we've been through this a million times - he'll have an input on the type of players we need but it's Hammond who decides who to scout etc and Hammond & Lawwell decide who we sign.}

03 Jun 2020 16:33:57
I'm aware of that Ed but the number of times we see " he wasn't my player" or "I didn't know he was coming in" is totally irrelevant. I've had staff in who I didn't interview but we've got to get the best out of everyone - irrespective of who brings them in. Can't remember who signed Derek Riordan and not sure exactly why WGS didn't play him if he was fit enough to be selected for permanent benchwarming. It's not that he wasn't good enough. Was WGS trying to sicken him?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I'm not sure it's like that, Lennon knows that score with signings and remember Hammond isn't only bringing in players for here and now but also for the longer term, players that might need 6 months or a year to push for the first team.
Look at Frimpong as an example, there's no way he was brought in as a first-team player. He got a shot at training with the first team and done so well Lennon had to promote him, other take time to develop.
Riordan's attitude stank and if the rumours are true messing about the Gaffer's daughter when you're going out with her isn't a good idea.}

Are we already going the wrong way, I don't think the Rangers will bother one Iota about incurring vast debts in the campaign to stop the ten, just think Tim's TEN IN A ROW we without doubt are better equipped financially so why are we letting some more than decent players go? Jozo, Johhny Hayes, and possibly Ajer they three between them last season had some off games I prefer to remember the many Brilliant games they had, name me another centreback other than Ajer who supports our front runners the way he goes forward why are we selling any players, Me (laugh if you want) I would burst the bank to scupper the Man U or whoevers deal For just one measly measly Season maybe we for say 30 £million to bring The HUNSKELPER Back yes the one and only Moussa Demble oh oh that would maybe put us in debt say the doubters but Think about Tim's TEN IN A ROW We will only get one chance at this in our lifetime 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆Stay Safe.

Even if all the ludicrous finances could be worked out, why would Dembele even dream of coming back to Scotland?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Jun 2020 18:43:16
Think u’ll find dembele will go for double 30 million! And even if it was 30 million even 20 million. if you think we should or would spend that sort of money al have a few pints of what your drinking! Couple of solid decent additions and we’ll be fine for the 10!

We're not starting all this panicking about transfers again? every season we get the same s***. Then when season starts we must be 20 pts ahead after 10 games or all hell breaks loose and the panty wetting starts😫.

I really wouldn't worry about next season. No way will anyone connected with Celtic drop the ball when it comes to new signings. We must have faith that they will not make the mistakes the other side made when they found themselves in the same position. In Neil Lennon we have a manager who will keep the players on their toes and remind them how much it means to the Celtic family. HH 10IAR.

I always liked Hayes, particularly when he came on as a second half substitute. He seemed to instill more energy to the whole team . Jozo was a reliable centre defender squad player. He always tried his best and never complained .
However, if it means we are able to use some of our talented youngsters more, then I am all happy that they have been moved on . Going back as far as MON Celtic Managers have been reluctant to give youth a chance ahead of experience .
N Lennon has probably been better than most, but he could possibly still do more .

Jmcg. exactly what game was Jonny Hayes excellent in? A goal at the midden, yeah, but never Celtic class.

OK Carmyle Bhoy
Brilliant in Johnny's case maybe the wrong adjective but for me the best option at left back and I remember his crossing of the ball could have been better in a few matches he after all was out injured for a while but you see the goal against the Rangers showed you what he had in his locker and he was willing to get up the park with pace which I liked about him, old man Chris I agree with giving the young team a chance but not next season it's too important to be doing any experimenting incedently maybe I was daydreaming about the magnificent Moussa returning but I know this that prospect would Guarantee us the Ten with Eddie and the Griff that's what I'd would call Firepower cover any two from three and I suppose big Frazer between the sticks why would Moussa come back anyway you ask I'll tell you why Kevbhoy (still giving you the H) because MOUSSA DEMBELE LOVE US I know our outlays, but NOW is the time to think Big let's not kid ourselves this Title is by far not going to be easy in Lenny we Trust.

Just a thought here. With Jozo gone and possibly Ajer on his way, and with the catalogue of pulled hammys from many of our CBs past and present, do we get value from our bean-pole centre-backs? We do when they are fit and that's less than often.

Do we need 6 feet 5,6,7,8 CBs and put up with the injuries, or would it not be better having shorter CBs who can read a game and be ball players and leave the defending corners and set-plays to the taller midfielders and forwards as they are generally in the box anyway?

The likes of our own John Clark, David Narey, Willie Miller and other shorter guys were never out with hammys. Compare them with the shape of Simo, Benkovic and others like them. Just an observation.

He’s a complete fantasist, listen to the same tripe he says when he joins clubs or walking Kilimanjaro and having C.V. and how he supported us all his days we are his club. Great coach but a total 🛎 end.

If it’s possible he’s actually making me angrier every time I hear his name mentioned with our club! Which seems to be every day now! He’s an arrogant narcissist who couldn’t give 2 f**ks about anyone but himself! He will go down in history as a rat who sneaked out the back door the day before a game to join the mighty Leicester city! And tried to take all the back room staff with him! No other manager in our history has walked out on us midway through a season, not one single manager! So that will be his legacy, a rat who jumped ship and left players fans and everyone else without a 2nd thought! Wish he would just f**k off and never be heard of again!

Tony you make a good point.
When Lenny took over, Celtic were 8 points ahead with 11 games to go.
It’s not as good as 13 points clear with 8 games to go.

Will always remember the team he was in charge of, undefeated treble winners x2, some of the football was fantastic on the eye, but this guy is a clown show imo, I’m sure he loves Celtic, just not as much as he loves himself, total egotistical prick that doesn't understand the meaning of loyalty, it’ll be Leicester next then so on and so forth.

I'm with @dannyH
Judas ruined every acolade he got he ruined all the praise he got lost my respect but I'm a Celtic fan he can go a take a jump. He actually walked out on us for money I know he was quite right to look after himself. Wha trophies is he going to win at Leicester non
He will never again feel what it means to be a winner on the park.
But heho winner in money whatever rocks his boat.
I'm not saying he did not do great with us but some of the football I was watching was bad we struggled through a lot.

Lenny steps in level got raised better football better score line wins ye a few hiccups till he got everything sorted. I also felt if we go a goal down we will score more than you that's a great trait as a footballer.
My little worry is who gets employed as football coach Celtic no best tho, as so far it's been amazing to watch.

Honestly lads it’s doing ma box in listening to it! What he done was unforgivable, but constantly going on about it is making it worse! He chose money over legendary status, and he knows that himself! We’ve all moved on and I suggest he does the same! Nobody of a Celtic persuasion gives a toss what this clown has to say.

Don't get me wrong I must admit I still like the guy and don't wish him any bad. I was shocked when he left and it could have cost us the league such as his presence he had and he IS A great manager but we did win the league and won it the next year after so I don't have any problems with him.

For me he will be remembered for the worst and most humiliating results in Europe. Lincoln Red Imps two seven goal defeats to Barcelona and PSG and the thrashing at home to PSG. that's what I will remember him for.

Judas made a statement to Leicester fans when he joined saying he wished he had been there when there owners chopper went down. He instantly played up to them he is an absolute Walloper and will ditch them as soon as someone else offers him something better . He is no better that a sour rat.
