If i remember correctly, Chris Burke was a Celtic fan as a boy. Just because he played (past tense) for Rangers doesn't mean he won't ever sign for Celtic. In my opinion, i think he would make a very decent squad player but we have enough of those already.

Celtic have mad a bid Mackail-Smith FACT, Reading have put a 6-7m price tag on Shane Long. All the club needs to do is accept and he will sign as Long is a Celtic fan. Also hearing Celtic are talking to ManCity over a transfer fee for Given AND Michael Johnson aswell? Not sure if the johnson is true though. Randolph is also coming in ONLY if Newcastle decide to let Froster come back.

Where the hell are we going to get the money for these players not only are the asking price out of our League but so are their wages ( unless we sell our better players like Hooper, Kayal, Emilio and Commons) If we are lucky we maybe afford 1 of them.

All Celtic have to do is tip the wink to Shane Long that he says to Reading that he wants to go to Celtic and only Celtic and he won't go anywhere else and he won't sign a new contract with them.
I'm sure they would be easy to deal with, (£3 - £4M) because he only has one year left on his contract.

you have to be kidding mate i saw kurtis byrne playing for alloa thi season and was not up to much he would never make it into the celtic team

Hibs fan here, Byrne was emptied from Hibs as he wasn't good enough, played a few times in the SPL and just didn't look like a decent player. i think he was on the bench for Alloa as well,
No danger will he end up at the lesser greens

Hi Guys,
Have been told of the rumours on this site and i can confirm that we have talks with berbatov next monday. He said he would take a drop in wages but not alot in order to be a first team key player.

Absolute rubbish. Berbatov is reportedly on £110,000k a week, even with a 50% drop in wages it's about 15k more than we can afford to pay a single player. I can't believe some of the rubbish being posted on here at times. {Ed007's Note - You should see what I don't post up!!!!}

So all the players that are due in to sign will also include heavy agent and legal fees because of the lack of experience within the club to carry out and conclude such tasks. I fear Mr. Bains financial irregularities may not be the last at Rangers. After Tim but Dims embarrassing display with the league trophy and his blatant self publicity and courting of the press in the build up to the takeover, don't you think the silence from Ibrox is eerily deafening and building up to a false dawn?}

Which could be a good thing for Rangers in a way, a successful club makes money, but it also need investment to carry on their success. I think he could be a Fergus McCann type, he will come in, steady the boat, clear the decks of people he doesn't want to work with (Fergus was ruthless in that way), turn the clubs finances around and sell up in 5/6 years to walk away with a tidy profit. The HMRC case is a worry, but I am no financial expert so I can't really comment on it. I will say one thing Rab, I think this could be a great season in Scotland if we can leave all the horrible stuff that went on last year behind. We are and always will be beyond reproach!}

Lot of mates look at the site trouble is not many fans use handles so don't no if they post.on refs think we should have a video ref and each team can call on him or her during a game maybe not every decision say each team can call on the video ref say three times in any game in normal time.big rab by the way {Ed007's Note - For penalties etc it could work, it would take about 2 mins and be a final decision rather than players hassling ref/linesmen. Why are people doing so many signing targets for Celtic? Unless selling Izzy or Kayal for millions Celtic will be in bad financial difficulty. There turnover will be down another 10+ Million. The only way they'll be able to pay for Shane Long is about £2-3Million + Stokes. Otherwise will be signings on a free, Jay Bothroyd would be a great signing on a free.
