Game over st mirren next let's stop treating that game as important it’s another 3 points like every other game and they all count.

Believable4 Unbelievable0

03 Apr 2019 10:53:12
Welshy, you’re right as Mr Stein said you only get the same points for beating them as you do for beating everybody else. But no other game makes me wake up grinning from ear to ear for three days. 😂👍☘️.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Apr 2019 13:03:10
It's the OTT reaction, finger pointing and blame-game from Sevco and their media mates that's prolonged the 'postmortem'.
As you say Welshy, we have another more important game to win tonight and much bigger fish to fry, with another two trophies in our sights.
St Mirren deserve the same amount of preparation, focus and effort.

Broony completes the hattrick . Kent Red carded and two game ban 😂😂.

02 Apr 2019 18:02:55
Was Andy Halliday banned?

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 19:12:35

Halliday and Kent 2 game bans, Morelos 4 games. Now that really is a rather special achievement by Broony.
If Carlsberg did hat tricks . lol HH.

02 Apr 2019 19:48:26
Is it right enough Morelos can get hit with a further two games?

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 20:09:55
Bob, Broon was attacked three times on Sunday for laughing after the abuse he took at Ibrox in December and one of their players doing the Broony in front of him. The press said not a word other than he was finished. Did he react at Ibrox. No, Did he say anything to press? No. But scroll on three months and he’s the problem for antagonising behaviour. I’ve watched them marching up and down the street for over half a century and sucked it up. I watched them do 9 in a row and sucked it up. I watched them do a huddle at the same place Broony did the Broony on Sunday and sucked it up. Pray tell why can’t Police Scotland, the Scottish press, Stevie G and the new Rangers just suck it up this week. I’ll tell you why. The Good Lord never meant it to be this way. They are the people and we are Irish immigrant tattie howking bog trotters. The famine is over why don’t we go home. The reason being this is my home. So Rangers and Stevie just need to learn to suck it up. Personally, I blame Roman Catholic schools. God Bless Scott Brown. Our captain, a leader and a legend.

02 Apr 2019 20:17:49
Cue statement o'clock. See media still on broony squirrel regarding his goading now intimating police looking at this. Only in Scotland could not make this up. I'm sure all the wife beaters are in agreement re broony goading as their wives/ girlfriends/ sister auntie niece deserved it. What a complete joke/ disgrace. But then what should we expect.?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 20:22:31
Hope not.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 20:43:17
JFP, good post mate, the media are hurting but that's been the case for a long time. There is a clear bias within the media, that's obvious but still not convinced the refs/ officials are the same. Just poor most of the time.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 21:18:51
The interesting thing for me is that despite the fact that Morelos assaulted three Celtic players in December, the story that dominated the Scottish press was how the gap had closed and the title race was on. Now the story that dominates the Scottish press is not the fact that our dominance is confirmed yet again, but that we were responsible for their bad behaviour. Now I know as a Celtic fan I am biased but in close on 50 years of following Celtic, I can’t ever remember the press being dominated by anything other than the football after a Rangers/ Sevco victory. I’d be interested to know if any of you would disagree with that.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 21:54:34
Superb JFP. As a keep telling the younger ones stick it right to them as often as possible this is payback.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 23:21:39
Next time they'marching down the street belting their drums, just line the steet and all put on the biggest smile you can muster, seems to be their kryptonite.

03 Apr 2019 04:52:35
Moral, in the story don't mess with broony.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 15:57:29
So according to the BBC Lenny has said he wants to build the team around Broony in the summer if he gets the job permanently why would you build a team around a player who will be 34 before the new season starts? and as much as I like Lenny I really hope Celtic has more ambition when it comes to signing the new manager.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

02 Apr 2019 16:38:43
He prob means signing younger guys and getting broony to integrate them into the Celtic way not a lot wrong with that.

02 Apr 2019 17:31:21
Or he's just saying it to piss off n wind up the h*ns n slippy, lol.
On a side note heard Marco Rose is going to Mochengladbach, he was my number 1 choice for celtic manager.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Apr 2019 08:54:42
He was mine too.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2019 12:57:49
Rose to Celtic was never going to happen . It was a figment of imagination of an over fertile mind . The MSSM ran with it knowing that when it failed to happen some fools of Celtic supporters would become all disappointed and blame PL and the Board again.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2019 14:41:13
Marcos rose has done a good job at Salzburg but really he also failed to qualify for the CL groups two years in a row also.

Don't see why he was an unrealistic target tbh.

Good chance it's the Sevco-Select of Collum, (red card red card) Ross on the standside line and Madden/ Beaton the 4th official ha ha.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 14:11:52
Collum is not a rangers fan.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 14:35:53
Has collum had a sevco game since slippy came out n publicly criticised him?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 15:16:54
To be fair to Bobby Madden, he gave us 2 penalties and sent off one of their players in the cup semi final last season, then on Sunday he sent off 2 of their players.
I don't think that officials should be allowed to referee games where they support one of the teams but at least he gave us the decisions.
Going back I can think of some referees who wouldn't have given us anything.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 15:36:25
Don’t rule out Kevin Clancy, could be his first after being 4th official on Sunday . oldkilly.

02 Apr 2019 21:31:34
In charge of what, Oldkilly, Sevco?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2019 08:57:16
Madden isn't as bad as everyone makes out. I think he is the best of a bad bunch but he isn't afraid to give good honest decisions against them. Where most are.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 11:09:59
Charlie Nicholas is a bitter bitter little man. But hey we knew this already. Slaughtering Brown for his behaviour on Sunday saying it is not befitting if a Celtic captain. Broony did absolutely nothing wrong all his actions were within the laws of the game. It was the actions of the Sevco players that were a disgrace. Thankfully Nicholas is more of a joke figure these days who is ridiculed for the nonsense he spouts.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

02 Apr 2019 11:22:41
Count Collins in that to he was at it at least Andy Gray called it right saying it's all part of the game and they shouldn't have bit . case closed or is the compliance officer going to do him for smiling.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 11:57:36
i think its time the green brigade outs these traitors and name them at home games. can you imagine a banner the length of the stadium naming and shaming the rats. nicholas, commons, collins, but to name a few. i would BAN them from paradise.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 12:02:21
Just add Nicholas to the list of ex players who can’t or won’t say anything positive about Celtic. Nicholas wasn’t the player he thought he was, got found out in England 34 goals in 151 games for Arsenal, not a great strike rate, just another sky pro ranger. oldkilly.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Arsenal's style of play never suited Nicholas where he was used as a No.10 so wasn't playing as an out and out striker- he won their POYT one year btw and scored both goals in a LC Final to beat Liverpool - he should have went to Liverpool but he let the bright lights of London cloud his judgement.
He's turned into a complete knob but I don't think anyone can question his ability when he was younger and before the bevvy got a grip on him, even now I know someone who sees him regularly on flights around the UK and no matter what time it is Charlie is in the airport bar or on the plane drinking champagne.}

02 Apr 2019 12:27:23
Why does it have to be green brigade?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 12:54:15
the gb are organised for that type of situation. but hey if you want to name and shame carry on mate. the more the better. hail hail.
ed let's start the campaign to ban the rats lol.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Get Tam Boyd into that Sly studio, that would sort them out.}

02 Apr 2019 15:15:36
Give me those rats in the studio all day long when we win having their greetin faces on show for everyone to see is priceless.

Would anyone else just rest Tierney till the end if the season and have him ready for next season
Over last few years his body has took a pounding and it seems to have taken it's toll this season.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

02 Apr 2019 11:06:17
I would rest him until the cup semi final Kev and then again until the final if we reach it. These will be massive games and I would feel more confident knowing Tierney was taking the field.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 11:08:29
Yeah i would, play hayes or give a youth player a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 12:12:03
Agree with iceman. We don't need KT to win the league but cup games are oneoffs and I would feelmore comfortable with KT on the pitch however if it puts his health at risk even in cup games we play Izzy or Hayes there.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 14:14:30
Problem with that Iceman is that he wouldn't be game sharp for the games then.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 16:25:58
I'd certainly give him some sort of rest that's for sure 👍.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 17:24:30
I’m sending him some cotton wool.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 20:37:23
The semi final is a week on Sunday. I’m not too concerned about his fitness as he has already proved after being out for a while he can slot straight back in. I see he trained with the squad today.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Apr 2019 23:41:29
After yesterday's game, I think it's time to get behind the team and ensure the title is won. When the team wins nine in a row, I hope we all remember that without little Fergus, this would never have happened :)

Believable3 Unbelievable0

02 Apr 2019 01:48:48
Couldn’t agree more, Donny. Wee Fergus has never got the recognition he deserves.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 06:25:34
COYBIG, Fergus has said on many occasions that he doesn't want any recognition for what he did for Celtic. He was quoted years ago somewhere as saying that he just did for Celtic what he thought was the right thing to do. There have been discussions about erecting a statue to him at Paradise but it was him who said no to it. He is a perfect example of a humble man who has morals and decency that go above and beyond those of most others. The club knows what he did forus and so do the fans. HH.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 08:17:38
I didn’t know that, Bob. Fair play to him and I guess we should respect his wishes.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 19:01:39
He’s on record about the state and it’s pretty humble. However he is a major part of Celtics stable foundation and he did (amongst others) save the club. Put the statue up complete with bunnet with the Dempsey rebels have won quote on the plinth.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Apr 2019 23:29:07
So boyata has done his hammy and is out for around a month.
But he should have stayed on the park yesterday😂😂😂.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

02 Apr 2019 01:27:45
He was poor again in yet another big game. He's not even good enough tbh.

Agree3 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 08:27:14
I don't think he was a poor as people are making out to be honest. He got done for the goal and had a shaky period at the same time as rest of the team but done ok.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 10:05:34
He was flat footed for the goal and then got skint so bad his hamstring went.

Not even just this game but other games we are under pressure and in Europe he continuously fails to be commanding.

He has attributes but mentally he bottles it when under pressure.

We need better.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 10:31:33
That I agree with. We need better. But people slagging him going off injured ain't right IMO.
Seems he felt the problem with the hammy well before it went as well played on and made it worse.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 10:55:11
If he's injured then he has to go off. That's why I felt some criticism of Lennon was over the top, he couldn't use subs to change the game.

He was forced to use subs due to injuries then we lose our extra man advantage and he makes good changes to get the win.

Good management.

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 10:57:26
The poster's getting at me because I called him a bottler and that was the second time he went off 'injured' in a Sevco game after making mistakes. He abandoned us last summer and possibly cost us CL qualification? The guy makes as many basic errors as Efe but thinks he is some kind of superstar, who deserves bigger and better than us. Hamstring or not we need players like Ajer that fight for the jersey.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 19:02:26
Eve or boyata?

Agree0 Disagree0

02 Apr 2019 21:08:44
Remember the situation Re Boyota and the Champions League match in the summer . We were given an account by Brendan Rodgers at that time we tended to believe our manager Brendan Rodgers, B R has since showed himself to be a liar and because of that we need to be careful of anything he has told us . It is self evident that Brendan didn't just become a liar this year, so maybe we should not believe his account of last summer and whether Boyota refused to play champions League Qualiflier.
