Alright guys, first time poster but long time reader. Does anyone else think that walker looked good for hearts today? Celtic will need someone to fill the gap after paddy leaves so why not bring him in as a back up to forrest or sinclair? I would say that we're lacking a decent winger, GMS just doesn't look up to it! Anyways proud of the bhoys today HH.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

{Ed007's Note - Welcome aboard mate. I thought Walker put in a good performance first half today but I've not seen enough of him to know if he's consistent if I'm honest, his wee highlight reel on before the match was quite impressive too.}

02 Apr 2017 23:18:58
15 goals this season, 2 against the huns a couple of months ago so he's in good form. Some of the balls he was playing in to the box today I was thinking that with higher quality players around him that they could have been converted. Would be worth a shot in my opinion.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - He's only got a year left on his contract so he could be available this summer.}

03 Apr 2017 00:36:55
Better than gms but not good enough for rodgers.

Agree1 Disagree2

03 Apr 2017 09:54:30
Don't need him . looks like forrest is finally becoming consistant (amo gst top performers this season for me) if we buy I'd like better than roberts walker forrest. if not I'd rather see nesbitt or miller given chance ahead of guys like walker.

A couple of years ago I think he would, we'll have been a realistic target; but under BR, we seem to be looking outside the spl and higher calibre of player?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 12:13:23
Given Ed's wee revelation that Paddy is open to staying, he's back towards the top of my wish list. I think he's a much better player than Forrest and he's still five years younger.

03 Apr 2017 16:49:24
Id definitely prefer paddy but I'm still not too sure how willing they'd be to sell him. We can only wait and see, definitely an excitimg time and can't wait to see who comes in in the summer.

What is it recently with they clowns down south always trying to stick the boot into the Scottish game? When are they obnoxious ignorant irrelevant morons going to realise that there opinion means hee haw up here! There obsessed with talking about how our game is trash and there's is god tier πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚! God tier? Every time I watch the Champions League all I see is there so called big teams getting embarrassed and all that after spending 100's of millions on overrated dross! All the best players in the world play in Spain and Germany. For all there talk and all there money they don't even have first or even second best league in the world! We will continue to dominate Scottish football for years to come wether people like it or not, we will also continue to be one of the biggest clubs in world football like it or not! HH.

Believable7 Unbelievable1

02 Apr 2017 23:50:03
they are that busy concentrating on beating each other they are losing Europe and beyond.
sevco when they actually existed as a football team were the same. They overspent on big names to beat local teams but really did nothing in Europe
The EPL is good but take away the big money foreigners, and they are just ok.

Agree2 Disagree1

03 Apr 2017 12:45:16
Can't stand the EPL the dross game they make out to be classics and the great games are really just average. Does anyone think the money ball will eventually burst down there? Or is it just wishful thinking.

Agree1 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 18:13:47
Campsie bhoy. It will burst becsuse of Brexit. You won't be able to just import anyone from Europe. International players only. You can't ignore the work permit rules just because they are footballers. Same with Celtic. Its going to hit the EPL much harder. EPL chairmen have already come out and raised concerns.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - erm how do you know that? They already use different work permit rules for footballers than the rest, so how will that change? You do realise the UK is separate in most ways from the rest of Europe anyway right? That is why you can wander all over mainland Europe without a passport to cross most borders but have to go through passport control to come into the UK. There is absolutely nothing decided with regard to Brexit, so it is pointless fantasising like you clearly are.}

Couldn't be more proud of the bhoys today. Great way to win a title. Hearts looked up for it but it didn't take long to silence them and their nasty support. Scottish Cup next for the treble then get ready for the CL qualifiers. Hail Hail to the Celtic family, so good to be a tim right now!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

02 Apr 2017 23:24:37
I have to agreed their supporters are nasty. They are horrible people always trying to attack decent players and fans. Why did the police not intervene when Luztig was being abused is a disgrace. I was proud when he did not react and instead we did our talking on the park by putting 5 in the net sorry 7 wasnt it.

There is no doubt he is a very impressive individual. He is an excellent speaker and commands your attention. I admire his confidence and assurance. I think there has been a bit of a seismic shift in how he comes across now compared to the documentary days.

He was humble in his praise for the previous management team. He has done a great job at the club and I love how he high he sets the bar. It is great to hear the drive and ambition in his words. There is no doubt about it, this is exciting times. I feel like a kid again watching this team.

If we can strengthen a few key positions I can see us get out of Champions League groups with a view to dropping into, and having a real go at the Europa League. Reaching the later stages of that competition is within our ability. Who knows how far we could go in with with two or three top quality additions and a bit of luck.

Agree3 Disagree1

03 Apr 2017 02:57:49
on an off topic. i once
e met beadle and tried my heart out to shake his wee hand. wouldn't do it. i was devastated.

Agree1 Disagree1

02 Apr 2017 18:55:06
That was a great way to clinch the title.
I thought that it was interesting to hear Brendan Rodgers talking after the match, he said that even when we were 5-0 ahead he was still kicking the dugout in frustration if we did something wrong. I like to hear that as it shows a desire for us to improve and never settle for the level we are at.
There are a lot of people hostile to us who always try and pour cold water on our achievements, I think that this time they'll have their work cut out as the football we've played this season has been a joy to watch, we were just miles ahead of everyone else.
Well done to everybody at the club, the title win is thoroughly deserved, I would love it if we could add the Scottish cup, that would be some way to mark the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon lions.

@da88 - are you sure you never told her that Celtic fans hate Rangers more than they love their own club? Or that Celtic fans are obsessed with Rangers and now The Sheep whereas we don't care about any other teams?

P.S. Well done on the title win, best team by a country mile.

Me thinks your nose has grown a little bit UJ if you are claiming that you lot don't care about any other team. You lot drew with us and you would have thought that you won the Champions league.

02 Apr 2017 19:50:52
Exactly the same attitude your club has towards it's debtors too UJ
lol HH.

Aye Union Jack you don't care about other teams but your on the champs page! Lol. thanks for being big enough to admit the better team won.

02 Apr 2017 20:44:12
Union Jack, if you don't care about any other team why are you on here day and daily? I think you would love to change allegiances. Repent and you will be saved!

At least you are magnanimous enough to say well done.

@jonbhoy71 - really? You've obviously never read one of Timalloy's jackanory ' bigot in a suit ' stories!
@tony2bhoy - look back on my previous posts for why we celebrated a draw.
@bobthecat - thanks for confirming we are the same club.
@pud - and I thought we were the delusional lot. Decades of dominance? Once Brenda takes the Arsenal job in the summer and Lennon takes back over you'll be lucky to get the magical 10!
@lh86 - someone's got to be the voice of reason on here.
@abighand - see reply to lh86 and no you're OK this Hun's not for turning. And I've never been shy to congratulate Celtic after there 2 wins this season - let's hope you are as magnanimous after the semi when the treble dreams have ended. πŸ˜‰.

03 Apr 2017 12:50:14
UJ I have and I don't believe that it's all about opinions at the end of the game and I do believe it was a release that you drew with us on that day.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 13:16:09
You really need to go see the Dr and have your medication increased. Going for 55? How did that work out for you? Bearing in mind you will have to win it 55 times to achieve it. And haven't won it once yet. And I doubt you ever will. Different team same delusions. Here we go 10 in a row.

03 Apr 2017 14:52:45
@MMI2009 - the record books say different?

P.S. The Pedro Juggernaut will stop No. 7!

03 Apr 2017 18:20:00
Union jsck i am not trying to get you at it but i can't see Pedro doing anything special. Honestly think Sberdeen will turn you over on 9th April. Next season Aberdeen 2nd again! you need a new team.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 23:01:08
@jb67 - I was on 4 tablets until he saw how happy I was after the draw with Celtic. πŸ˜‰
@jonnymac - I believe Pedro should be judged next season. As for the Sheep they are deservedly in 2nd after putting in some consistent performances recently. I'll take a defeat off them in April as long as we beat them in the SC Final. 😁.

Agree0 Disagree0

04 Apr 2017 00:24:00
by the time the semi and the game at ibrox are done you will be up to 8 tablets a day, the side effects of them must be good though, they seem to be giving you dreams of great fantasy.

Huge credit and congratulations to Brendan And all the players and back room staff on a magnificent unbeaten total win.
Two trophies up and one to go to obtain one of the most stylish and emphatic trebles I have seen in over five decades.
This is what following Celtic is all about and the highs always, always outweigh the lows.
Sit back appreciate and enjoy glasgows green and white.

Great victory against the mini buns, Brendan and the guys have done brilliant this season and the treble would be a deserved end to the season. Glasgow is indeed green and white.
Here we go 6 in a row, the 10 is on its way.

02 Apr 2017 18:40:16
@bigshaw - you're getting a wee bit ahead of yourself, I'm sure 7 comes after 6?

Agree1 Disagree1

02 Apr 2017 19:55:49
Uj, glad you can count, at least one sevconian can.
The magical 10 is the aim, didn't think that needed to be explained and clearly 7 is next year's title win.
Champions, nobody will stop us getting 10.

Agree0 Disagree1

02 Apr 2017 22:45:36
@bigshaw - give me a shout when you get to 54 in total! πŸ˜‰ #goingfor55 ( next season ) !

Agree1 Disagree2

03 Apr 2017 12:44:09
55 pie sales? its impossible to win 54 titles in only 5 years of existence!

Agree3 Disagree1

03 Apr 2017 14:48:58
@jb67 - you implying Bigshaw ate all the above mentioned?

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 16:29:24
no i'm implying you and your fellow deluded supporters need to keep taking your medication with this pie in the sky (did you see what i done there? ) going for 55, you don't have any top flight titles!

Agree2 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 20:22:50
Classic uj, you always make me laugh. poor wee sevco won't even see a first title never mind 55, just like rangers deceased. With cash so tight down at ibrokes and brother Pedro now in charge, doing a stellar job may I add, +πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ our only competition is the sheep and even they are nowhere close to us.

Celtic will easily surpass that figure, 54, and add that and 10 in a row well that's all your old clubs achievements blown out the water.

Still you could just concentrate on being world record seat counters, i hear that's pretty popular down sevco way, certainly won't need your maths when it comes to sevco.

Hail hail for the champions here we go 10 in a row.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 20:23:12
Uj have a pie and brown sauce once in a blue moon, i'm, quite partial to a Bovril on one of those freeze your balls off days though (and there's been a good few) the bigshaw moniker is more to do with my height than waist size.

You sure you ain't got a secret love of the Celtic, just like brother Pedro? haha.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Apr 2017 23:17:52
@bigshaw - Each to there own, I'm more a red sauce on my pie type of guy. Pedro was just following the party line as his employer's had a tie in with Celtic. I mean look at Maurice Johnston's turnaround.

Or who can forget Robbie ' it's the only club I've ever wanted to play for ' Keane every time he signed for a new team!
I'm not narrow minded enough to care about his past as long as he does the business.

@jb67 - just checked the UEFA website and they have us as the same club.
