Why oh why does a Scottish based newspaper have a fixation with a west brom player for not wearing a poppy, the player has never played in Scotland to my knowledge, the afore mentioned paper is Scotland's labour flagship paper no mention of Corbin wearing a white poppy I'm disguisted.

Seems there's no choice anymore mate, we all need to toe the party line, support the government no matter what wars they start. Fascism at its best.

It would appear that the 'Keep Politics Out Of Football' brigade when its with respect to flying flags in support of occupied territories should really be called the 'Keep Politics (WE don't AGREE WITH) Out Of Football' πŸ€.

Will the Manchester City manager have to leave town as he didn't wear a poopy on Saturday .
Mind you I watched a documentary of a Scottish based regiment. Who travelled from their base in Bessbrooke to Co Fermanagh to kill a farmer and his employee by pitch-forks and then go to a local Castle to celebrate .
My love of poppies has always been limited but is now in minus rating.

Good result today but what is apparent we missed Kieran Tierney badly. Sinclair was not getting the proper support from Izzy and ended up looking a bit exposed, So just like to wish KT a speedy recovery as Celtic are not the same without you.

Agreed dth100-It was very apparent today just what KT gives us both defensively and going forward-class act. You never miss the water until the well runs dry πŸ€.

I thought we outplayed the dons and didn't even move into 2nd gear.
Don't remember the dons ever threatening us although they are a much harder team to beat than the pub team last Sunday.

I am not a fan of izzy.
Don't rate him any higher than ambrose but today I though he defended well nothing.
Nothing flashy but ok.

I honesty don't know how anyone could criticise Izzy after today's performance . We are exceptionally lucky to have as good a left back as Kieron Tierney and as good a back- up as Izzy . I can remember more seasons than I would like when our first choice left back was as good as our back- up is now . We are also lucky that both our left back's have the same approach towards playing left back .

Izzy will need a big prefomance on Tuesday. I'm glad he is still here to cover. Kt has been a God send and a player we would never of been able to afford. I'm approaching this game with an open mind. If we ship more that one goal we are gubbed but until then why not hope for a cheeky away win. We are due one.

said way back at transfer time LB, RB and CMF need strengthened - we got Gamboa - but I said what if KT and Brown get injured - if something happens to Brown now - we will look a very different side.

Old Bhoy pal I never criticised izzy at all I only pointed out that Kieran had set his standards so high when he is not in the side we are weaker down the the left side . Izzy is and has been a good signing for Celtic and the fans have always been behind him, but Kieran is a different level and is badly missed when not playing.

dth100 I appreciate that u didn't exactly ridicule Izzy, others did comparing him to Ambrose, however I think you could have paid tribute to the effort he put in to day . Sinclair's form has been a little bit iffy over the last number of games and I don't think it is solely down to Izzy instead of K T.

Today and last Sunsay we have had the two most bigoted and biased referees in Scotland since daddy Dallas . Last Sunday Thompson managed to see three times as many fouls conceded by Celtic players than by Rangers players who has only 40% of the ball. Of course he disallowed a goal and didn't give a clear cut penalty .
Today former Rangers youngster, who they decided at Ibrox could be more useful to them as a referee, booked Eric in first minute which would have been fair enough if he had booked the five Dons players who committed worse fouls in the first half hour
McLean refused to send off two Aberdeen who pushed and kicked our captain . 5 substitutes and no trainer on yet he. Played 5 + 1 mins extra to help the sheep.

Spot on I always love it when they cry foul after their team were given a good going over, despite us not being in top gear. Could n should have been at least 3 nil up n out of sight, Hayes n Rooney both should have saw red but that's all forgotten, n there's a slight tug of the arm in the box but for me not a penalty. And as old Bhoy said it seems teams r allowed to kick our players up n down the park, just as well we have Broony in there who gives it back twice as hard. Big Erik n simunovic were outstanding n I have been looking forward to this being our central defensive pairing for a while n long may it continue. Credit to Gordon for a few saves which were important.

Derek mcinnes a bitter b@"Β£ they dominated us for last 5 mins when a games played over 90 we should have scored half a dozen why can we admit when we got beat of the germans we were outplayed by the better team but every team we play in Scotland can't say the truth about us Scottish football is full of bitter bitter folk from media to club managers.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

29 Oct 2016 14:49:15
You said it at the start mate, because he's a bitter wee guy who cannot stomach us dominating them and the rest of the Diddy teams for the foreseeable future! They came into the game in 5 minutes of extra time that only that ref knows where he got that from! I for one don't and never have wanted people like mcinnesses praises! We're out on our own and our fans players and managements opinions are all that counts! I predict a record points total this year from us and the biggest winning margin in Scottish football history! See how mcinnes and the rest like that!

Nonsense

His job is to look after his team and their confidence. He has a cup final coming up and so his priority will be his own team. Why should he volunteer an inferiority complex?

We shouldn't be bothered by how other people see the game. We know we should have put it to bed after 60

They did come in to it a little at the end but that's always the case ( generally ) ! and so he'll focus on how hey finished and bypass the 60 or so minutes when we played his team on their turf off the park.

You'll have a very, very long wait if you want an ex-currant to be magnanimous after defeat to Celtic; especially Slug 2.
There are very few 'sporting' managers out there who will credit opposing teams and in fact, when interviewed, rival managers usually see two entirely different games.
Even ex-Celts, apart from maybe Sutton find it easy to praise Celtic and many of them are apologists and detractors paid by SLY.
Basically, the supporters appreciate the honest efforts and results of the manager and team and that's all that really matters to us.

Absolutely stunning touch and goal from Tom Rogic today and don't think many players in Scotland could have scored it. Also think despite the criticism he has had recently from fans Craig Gordon is a top class keeper and excellent shot stopper πŸ€.

What a fkn brilliant game from the best 2 teams in Scotland.
Enjoyed that more than the of games.
A real top of the table clash. And also the stuff of champions.
Well played Aberdeen. Anyway we can just start calling these fixtures of games as the ragers games just aren't the same now as they are so pish.

Thought it was frustrating. Missed a barrel load of chances which is a worry. Didn't enjoy it at all too many missed chances that left us clinging on when it should have been a canter.

3 points though. But the cants on sky right now should have nothing to moan about. Should have been out of sight.

Don't enjoy games like that. Pisses me off missing chance after chance.

Need to sort that.,

Mate a said that to ma mate last week. The 5-1 game was a laugh to me, don't get me wrong a love to see the peepul suffer but a don't feel the same as when we beat oldco. This is now scotlands top fixture in ma eyes, and like yourself a thought it was a good advert for our game. Well done the sheep but great stuff by us at times and a well deserved victory.

I think we will pump Aberdeen this weekend.

My team would be:

Gordon

Listing Toure Sviatchenko Tierney

Brown bitton

Forrest Rogic Sinclair

Dembele

Would have Toure as he is better in the air and Forrest as he is slightly better at tracking back and button for a bit of height.

Totally gutted about the injury to KT. He's the brightest prospect to come out of Scotland in many a year. Just hope he makes a full recovery with no long lasting affect 's and gets back to the top of his game.
