Thought tonights game was our best performace in Europe under BR especially going forward in the first half.
However I did think Lusnig was treading water a lot of the time. He could not raced forward and you could see that Rosenburg left a lot of gaps down the right.
The only time he did get forward he allowed Forrest one on one with the central defender and we scored.
Lusnig has been a great servant and should not be discarded but a fast skillful RB could offer us so much more going forward and create a greater threat.

Reminiscent of the Anderlecht away game and we could/ should have had the goals that reflected our dominance.
Very impressive all over the pitch and our control and passing on a difficult surface was absolutely brilliant.
Perfect way to prepare for the cup final on Sunday and another boost is the fitness and form of so many players fighting for places.
Great time to be a Tim.

Rodgers is quality on the ball a joy to watch. McGregor has been good in Brown's postion and it's good we have options in their. Still prefer McGregor further forward influences the game more.

After Brendan arrived we were linked with Flannegan a number of times - dodged a bullet big time, not even good enough for sevco.

Just watched the orcs celebrations but that has to be one of the worst performances I’ve seen from any team out of Spain in the last 25 years. They were woeful but still far superior.

Chasaboy, where do i start. well the orcs as you call the Glasgow rangers played a la liga team for 45 mins with 10 men and your slagging them off for celebrating still having a chance to qualify in last game (just like Celtic do). well what a sad and bitter person you are. the gers weren't great but they got a deserved point after a terrible sending off. a hope for your sake Celtic qualify and you can celebrate till your hearts content.

If I’m sad and bitter it’s because the Scottish media and football authorities made me that way. I used to want all Scottish teams to do well but that’s when I was young and naive and thought there was a level playing field. Fortunately I’m older and wiser now and know better.

Chasa your post was about the gers celebrating not about the media . your bitter because the gers done ok. celtic had a good away result but all that bothers you is the gers celebrating well to me that's aww so sad.

Was just about to post an identical post. that aside its really great to see all the young home grown celtic supporting players playing with so much confidence and skill.

Great result tonight, and for once, it felt comfortable which is so unusual away from home. I thought the defence were really good, McGregor had another excellent game, as did Christie again, but Tierney, in my opinion was pick of the bunch. What a player that young lad is.

A good performance and a thoroughly deserved win. Still a bit to do but we could face a 'weakened side' in the last game. The other result tonight puts to bed some of the BS I've read about a possible carve up. Some of us don't do ourselves any favours at times with the paranoia. Thankfully the bookies did tonight. Looking forward to the weekend now in what could be a fantastic week for us. COYBIG.

Jim there was never a doubt in my mind that salzburg would win or at least try their hardest which is why I stuck a tenner on celtic / salzburg double but I sh@ it and cashed out when they scored, still £40 up.

I couldn't believe it last week when I looked and Salzburg were 27/ 10, thought it was strange for the bookies to get it so wrong, how they made Leipzig clear favourites is still baffling.

I was on the same double Steph 👌.

I didn't think Salzburg were runaway favourites Stevie, not in the way the bookies thought Leipzig were. But far too good to knock back at a very similar price to that. Sometimes they just get it wrong and present a good opportunity.

Rosenborg make only 2 changes and 1 of them is the goalie.
So much for playing a weakened side.
Hopefully we can still turn them over. HH.

Rosenborg goalie for tonight is their number 1.They rested him at the weekend.
The only outfield player change was brought on at the weekend and scored their only goal, so he has kept his place. It would be a great result coming away with a victory against their full strength side.

No need to rush broony at all. The cup final would suit him just fine. Let's see what we can conjure without him.

Guys I have already told you I put my bets on last week in the "Red Bull Derby"
Salsburg who are SIX POINTS CLEAR are 13/ 5 at home. Draw is 12/ 5 and Leipzig 13/ 10, Salsburg can get away with a draw or even an 0-1 defeat to still top group on head to head. Unless Celtic win last two games and beat Salsburg by 3 clear goals.
But we have to do our bit and making Celtic odds on favourites AWAY in a european game sits uncomfortable with me. We all know how we always manage to mess things up away from home in europe, so do not get too over confident tonight. The odds are 3/ 4 Celtic, Draw 16/ 5 and Rosenburg win 3/ 1.

{Ed007's Note - Rosenborg will likely prioritise the Norwegian Cup final they're playing on Sunday and it's been suggested they'll play a weakened team tonight.}

29 Nov 2018 12:05:40
ED007 I saw that but I always worry when we play away in europe.
On other matters I see your Christmas appeal has got off to a slowish start, I hope come next few weeks our guys make a difference.

{Ed007's Note - Payday's not until tomorrow for a lot of folk, Tim and I've still to get Phil and Pat to put it on their site's for me so fingers crossed it picks up.
And thank you very much for your donation, Tim, God bless 🙏

ED007 as you say wait until after payday, I am also going to chin my girls for a few bob also for you and I have a few bets running which if they come in I will gladly share some of my profits with you.
I am a big believer in Karma, good and bad, whatever you do comes around, let's hope it is all good Karma.

{Ed007's Note - Thanks, Tim and send the girls my thanks too.}

Think the Norwegians will play their strongest possible team tonight, all the talk is just psychology, so that Celtic get too overconfident,
