Neil Doncaster does not work for the SFA.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - The SFA don't run our leagues, the SPFL - who Neil Doncaster is the CEO of along with being a board member of the SFA - runs them.}

I see the league in Belarus is still going on and being played in front of fans, the President said having 2 saunas a week and drinking vodka kills the virus. If drinking Vodka kills the virus i"ll never get it 🤣🤣.

Doesn't matter what country is playing football. I've a consistent knack of losing my money on it.

If Broony has donated a £1K to the NHS when he apparently earns 25K a week and has been at Celtic for 13 seasons, personally (and I like Scott Brown) I think that's embarrassing. James McAvoy has donated £275,000.00.

This is not a dig but how much should he donate how much have you donated surely it's the gesture that should be applauded not the size of it.

It's more than I've donated and more again than most of us will donate. How do you know what state his finances are in?

The only thing embarrassing is your post pal! How dare u come on here and have the front to talk about what another person gives out their own pocket! Yes he’s a wealthy guy but 1000 pound is generous! In these uncertain and troubled time’s that’s what u think to post! Get a grip of urself for f**k sake!

He's obviously not a Celtic fan. Scott brown does s lot for charity he also has a family connection charity which is close his heart. Not enough for Scott he now gives more of his money away, trust me it would not have been Scott brown who put it out there that he gave money to that cause.
I give donations to a lot of things like so many on this page do you have problem with that or is it just all things celtic. Mind your own busines as its non of yours what if he gave a lot more than that but that was what the leak was allowed to say. You ain't got a clue what others are doin, maybe stop judging people and deal with your own problems.

Why do we know about, are discussing this?, if I had a thousand pounds to give to a good cause, I would do that, and ask for no publicity, I think this is fake news, generated by people wanting to have a go at Scott Brown, who like the rest of Scottish football are getting paid week in, week out to not do anything .

Scott is supposed to be on 25k a week,25k for doing nothing, and that De Gea bloke, spelling might be wrong, the goalie at man utd, who can't even lace Graig Gordon's boots when it comes to goal keeping ability, is getting paid over 300k a week, what do these guys do with all that money, buy another ferrari, another yacht, another palatial homestead, or enough PPE for the doctors and nurses and carers, or make a multi million pound donation into vaccine research for COVID19, give me a minute to think about the answer.

It's ridiculous to split hairs, or discriminate about cash amounts being donated at all. If several Tory Governments over the last four decades had not stripped the NHS bare and destroyed moral, the hard working and dedicated people carrying the NHS on their backs would be much better prepared and equipped in this time of desperate need.

NHS has been operated on a shoe string for decades, especially during periods of Tory Government . Stocks of necessary protection garments for Nurses was non existent in some Hospitals within the last month . One of my daughters, a nurse, had to test patient for the virus and there wasn’t a protective mask in the whole Hospital .
Ventilators could have been sourced long before Dyson’s unproven ventilator, became available . Mr Dyson is a major Contributor to Boris Elections.

If we ever return to normality, the rich will get tax breaks and the poor working man will be hit by the harshest tax rises and Nat Ins hikes to pay for loss of Government takings and payouts due to virus.

You are 100% correct the workers will pay big time when this is over, and it is a disgrace the way this mob (wont call them a goverment) in charge are dealing with it.

What a disappointment

Not long back from a wee Sunday stroll with Mrs T (yes it is allowed) came in and went upstairs when my beloved shouted up "Tim take off all your clothes" whoopee I thought I am on a PROMISE, sadly I was brought back down to earth when she then said "and bring your clothes down for the WASHING MACHINE"
Ach I had a headache anyway lol.

I hope everyone is keeping well.
Today is the 40th Anniversary of my first Celtic game as a 5 year old. It was Celtic 4 Hibs 0 and over the years I have found out quite a lot about the game.
It was the first game Celtic played after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Real Madrid in the quarter final of the European Cup due to snow postponing a game the week before.
George Best played for Hibs that day in his only competitive game at Celtic Park.
Bobby Lennox scored the first ever goal I witnessed and it was from the Penalty spot. (the buzz bomb only scored 4 penalties in his Celtic career) it was also his last goal at Celtic Park. Frank McGarvey scored his first goal for Celtic that day and it was only 4 days before McGarvey scored the only goal of the game against Rangers with 5 minutes to go.
I think it might have been the last time both Celtic and Rangers played at home on the same day because they drew 2-2 with Aberdeen.
The 1980 riot took place a few weeks later and that’s probably one of the reasons we have never played on the same day in Glasgow since.
