Just caught a bit of the game tonite, thought mginn and tierney showed up well! Thought brown was again way off the pace! The other thing was the tackle on sviachenko! That was a horrendous challenge and was a stonewall red card! Terrible tackle! Looked even worse in the replay! And even worse than that. i thought aww naw we're going to have ambrose or boyata playin on Saturday lol!

As much as I hate Internationals, I had a look at the highlights because of all the Celtic involvement and agree about Tierney and also thought Gordon - who has been dodgy most of the season - had a very good game, with some very good saves.
He still seems to parry into danger, but got away with it and had a great double-save that kept Scotland ahead.
Brown's struggling to even do the basics and should be rested until his form, attitude and fitness return as currently he is a man-short
Mulgrew did fine, for the short spell I saw him and sevco will probably put a bid in for that wee guy that 'assaulted' Schiavchenko.

Scott brown said about the sviachenko challenge, I thought it looked a fair challenge! Is he having a ****n laugh! Not only is he playin rubbish he's talking it aswell! Fair challenge!

A captain has to defend his players . Scotland have had a list of rough hooligans who never cared for the health or well- being of their opponents . Funny enough many of them played for the dearly departed monster from Govan . Remember Greig and Barry Ferguson it wasn't for dainty foot- work and defence splitting passes that got these ruffians so many Scottish caps .

Brown is also sviachenkos captain. He should have said that bridcut just mistimed the challenge or was too eager to win the ball and that there was no intent to hurt the player. Or he should have just said it was a very dangerous tackle and he's glad Erik wasn't hurt because let's be honest brown has to see him everyday whereas bridcut is a bit part player at best for Scotland.

We've been linked a few times with delaney. But tonight mginn looks as good if not better than all the other midfielders on show. worth a bid?

I thought mcginn did well tonight as well but I've watched hibs a few times this season and henderson has been there best player with some distance. but mcginn caught strachans eye with the under 21s.

i can't remember what game it was but mcginn was still playing for st mirren and he gave scott brown a horrid time and remember thinking he could be brown's replacement not bad motm on your senior debut well done to him and kieran tierney.

Can't see it DRB (bid) he under contract 2019

Need to offload a few midfielders looking forward to see Ajer in there (y)

I know what you all mean but I can see biton and johanson moving on sooner than later for money. commons and brown are coming to the end of their careers and mulgrew is just rubbish I also can see Allen wanting away as interest in England for him. I agree about henderson but if those I mentioned did go we'd need another couple of mids.

I have seen McGinn a few times and he is a good player, however, we have far too many midfield players at present, already at the club who can't get a game - including Henderson who will be fantastic.
Even if we offload Johansen, Commons, Forrest and even Brown, we still have Armstrong, Christie, Bitton, Rogic, GMS, Allen, Roberts, Kazim Richards, McGregor and Henderson - off the top of my head, to shuffle and shunt into a four/ five midfield.
We really need to look at centre back and striker cover as that is where we are limited in quality and numbers and Gordon is just about past his sell-by date, while we're at it.

Jungle Jim 2 there's Ajer arriving as well. For me Johansen, Forrest and Allen will almost certainly leave at end of season. Its obvious Allen was only signed to get one over that mob and for all he cost, club will get back fee maybe bit more.

Can see a CDM pairing of Armstrong and Biton, with Rogic playing CAM.

We really need 2 experienced wingers to make this 4-2-3-1 work. Hopefully we get them in asap.

What really baffles me though is there are posters on here whining about CL qualification, yet think championship players like McGinn are the way to get us there. Just doesn't make sense.

Dn 30 . nobody mentioned cl qual. Or mginn being the player to get us there. My point was should the club take a chance or do fellow fans think take a chance on him . the boy has been talked about for a few seasons now as having potential is he now fulfilling it? Strachan saw fit to give him a game ahead of players like henderson who we all agree (or hope) has a great future here. the boy was the stand out midfielder last night better than delany who we've been linked with. biton made the statement last week that usually results in a player leaving "" I want to play at the highest level "take the mo ey reinvest imo. ajar is only 16 so do you think he will be a major force next season? (I wouldn't be surprised if he's loaned out ) . If the boy mginn kicks on and becomes another one we let go from under our noses I hope you won't be one of tbe posters to come on crying about it. 😭.

SMSM player's mind interference, interest in Allan in England, in the Name of God why? What has he achieved in Scottish Football, Sevco trying to sign him, instead signs for top League team and has yet to prove himself at that standards . So who in England will chase after him Stanley Accrington?
Biton hasn't asked to go anywhere and as our club only sell better players who demand to leave, I can't see him going within the next 3/ 4 transfer windows .
Either stupid Celtic supporters or else supporters who don't understand footballers from the stands or from forums have made this season a season from hell for Johanson who through injury and lost of form hasn't been able to reach last season's level of playing achievement . Good supporters would normally get behind a player striving to attain his best form, but the loudmouths who know it all from our support do the opposite . In the summer when Stefan has left us these same supporters will blame our board for going for the cash .

I see April fool helped the MSSM to put pressure on the Celtic family, by having Tierney wondering can he move in with Virgil or big Victor and Bitton moving to the Arsenal bench . Big games are coming and especially our game against the upstarts from Govan the media have promised to do their best . Bobby Madden is getting special one to one coaching with the glazier Dallas in preparation for tomorrow's game against Hearts .
Former Gardeners Mc Coist and Mc Dowell are busy ensuring the Hampden surface is at its worse possible condition for April 17th . Of course the SFA pay Queen's Park a small ransom to have the pitch just playable for the whole season, Warburton has asked to be given special respect and have the pitch as cut up as possible.

Looking at odds for the England game tonight Holland are 4/ 1 and the draw is 11/ 4, with the "we will win the euros" mob making a host of changes lump on these odds.

Tom Rogic scored again for Australia against Jordan. He could be very important for us during the run-in sdo hopefully we can keep him fit.
