At this time of year would it be prudent to point out that, post Easter, Jesus was in fact a newco? Unless of course Mary Magdalene purchased the history of the holding Jesus?. green jhedi

Hamilton Accies Chairman, Les Gray;
"The club are deeply disappointed with the outcome of yesterdays meeting. Previously 27 clubs were broadly in favour of the structural changes on offer. Now only 14 clubs are in favour of the changes. 12-12-18 and a much fairer distribution model, more promotion and relegation and, in my opinion, many more exciting games. Lower league clubs, through self interest OR OTHER REASONS, feel they cannot support the changes. We hope common sense will prevail but will not let other clubs dictate our business model. As a simple example, we finished fourth last season with a SFL pay out of £50k. Under the new system the pay out would be £300k and four positions up for grabs for promotion" Why would any club not want a new set up that could earn them more money? Seems to me that the well run clubs like Accies are suffering for the no hopers in the Scottish game.

There are too many chairmen in the Scottish lower leagues who are happy plodding on but enjoying the perks of running a club and being a member of the SFA. With no ambition and no threat of dropping out of their cosy world why would they bother? Or have they been got at by Longmuir? Time for the secret world of the game in Scotland to end. Example; The five point deal green signed with the SFA, what's in it? This document MUST be made available to all fans for viewing. We must start controlling the game here, not faceless blazer fillers in it for a good pension. green jhedi

Ed can you clarify a discussion I've been having.

Following the sale of Ki & CL are we still in debt? Pal said it's minimum like 900k?

Cheers.
Richybhoy {Ed007's Note - Off the top of my head Richy (I am using my phone) the bank debt from the interim report is sitting about £130k.}

sandazas contract next year is approx £280,000, the year after £390,000 and finally £520,000. chuckie wants rid of, but cant. is there any possibility that chuckie has made up this story about murray. so he can get sandazas signing annulled. thus saving his cash strapped club £1.1m . murray well he would be sacked as the sacrificial lamb. mcoist, durrant, and uncle fester walk away in protest. five wage bills gone job done. shammy p. s. when I say made up. I meant he knew things were wrong at the time, but making it public to get shot of big fran. allegedly

We are told that the majority of the £8.4m owed by Dunfermline is actually owed to its owner Masterton.

Masterton was is a Banker. That doesn't make you rich in itself. That makes you an employee of a bank.

How did Masterton get his millions? What's he been into that Dunfermline owes him £8.5m loose change? Is he the guy who gave Murray Group £450m of BoS money?

Story out of ibrox today McCoist has Nicky Law and Andre Bikey in his radar. Yes it's the Traynor/ McCoist almost Daily linked to players news stories normally to deflect attention from the real story.
Yesterday it was dun utd captain Daly and the day before a Honduran and a Mexican. Six others on radar before that.
Also saying the next two years player recruitment critical. When is player recruitment not critical for any club?
Sounds like an attempt to help his suspended mate Murray.

A week ago McCoist was put in front of cameras by Jabba and stated how extremely serious the Sandaza issue was. The poor lad (Spanish speaking) was the victim of a hoax call.
Now McCoist is "BEMUSED" when his mate and equally competent head coach Murray is suspended. Not "extremely serious issue Ally"?

I've been a fan of the UEFA endorsed NextGen Competition that Celtic Youth have been competing in for the past 2 seasons and think its been great for their development.

I was reading the other day though that UEFA are 'planning' an alternative Youth CL tournament. It will be a 32-team Under-19 competition which is intended to mirror the senior Champions League on an initial two-year pilot basis. Each of the qualified teams will be given the option of entering with matches played on or around the same dates used for group stage games and at grounds in close proximity to the venues used by the senior sides. The eight group winners and eight runners-up go into a knockout phase, played in single matches from next February onwards, in pursuit of a trophy which will be named after Lennart Johansson, the UEFA honorary president.

The NextGen Series will also continue!

Is this another example of UEFA trying to muscle in on something that has proven successful.

Hopefully, it can only be for the good ~ Mrs E {Ed001's Note - yes it is, this is their way of trying to regain control over this area, part of their fear of a breakaway European senior league stemming from the NextGen. It must be remembered that the NextGen is the baby of the Man City owners and it is very much seen as a stepping stone to a European Super League by many in the game. It will be very interesting to see how it goes, though I just can't see how UEFA can hope to compete.}

Eddie if I've posted this before then just close this down but don't think I have on here anyway,

Put a post up on the rangers page a few weeks back & don't know of it got on but anyway. A few of us go over there to there page for giggles and what not but every if not most transfer target has to be a ex player or manager or had to be a rangers fan! Bucher McColl eck murphy law Boyd miller even novo! Etc

Why can't rangers try something new? I know there trying to hold hope for there history but wanting ex players and mansgers back come on!

Lenny {Ed001's Note - I wouldn't say there is much in that other than people remembering them fondly, while the current side is poor in comparison. You only have to look at the Liverpool site, the posters on there are constantly pining for Torres or Alonso to return. Some fans just can't let go of their man crushes, even when it is clear they are past it. It is like that mate we all have who still pines after his ex, even though she looks dog rough and has long ago moved on.}

So according to the sun today, the rangers will get bumped up to the SPL2 league.
" clubs including Rangers would be cherry picked for the 2nd tier "
How nice for them, not only are they constantly on ESPN (which should be changed to the rangers tv channel IMO), they also get bumped up a division. Green will prob spin in it that he is helping save Scottish football or some pish

Thank Goodness TRFC changes are afoot at last.
It looks like Ally's bemused because his mate, the head scout is suspended with an ongoing investigation into last summers recruitment. There's email evidences.
Without ibrox making statements it leaves us only to speculate. Traynor should move fast to put the truth out to limit damage.
Has this to do with sandaza investigation? Now entering week two for only a crank call? Has green tried to get sandaza on a lower package or out the door? Has sandaza produced emails? Lower wage = lower kickback? and whoops cats out the bag. Who knows?
