You starting a boycott?

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water comes to mind.
George

Agree11 Disagree3

What a plum! So you don't want to watch champions league and the odd spl game, when tickets are not available

Agree13 Disagree4

Done the exact same months ago. ive got a season ticket and go to all home games and some away games. games i dont go to i stream online.
personally i'd like to see celtic go down the same route as italian teams and organise their own tv rights. theres sooooo much more money involved that way.
frankiebhoy

Agree4 Disagree12

Just watch streams on the internet and dont give them any money
bigD

Agree4 Disagree0

Sky was a big part of the pressure to get brand new sevco directly into SPL.
They need to know that the vast majority of their fee paying viewers are not Sevconians. I stopped buying the DR, the s*n and sky ages ago. I've improved myself with better newspapers.

Agree6 Disagree11

I agree the sly tv do nothing for the Celtic support our games are all arranged at anti football supporters times especially for travel arrangements and it obvious to us who they think is their biggest custom, don't think we should abandon or boycote them the other channels are no better but the message should be sent to them making our feelings know I think they are certainly anti Celtic

Agree3 Disagree12

Are you lot f*cking serious? they are anti celtic? more like you lot are paranoid.

BigBear

Agree11 Disagree6

Who cares what your opinion is though BigBear. Go back to your own page, that's what you lot tell anyone on there who disagrees with The Yorkshire pudding, so practise what you preach. With Jim Whyte's mush on a website greeting when your team died how can you not understand Celtic fans thinking its Anti Celtic. Although I think Pro Rangers is more appropriate than Anti Celtic. To us it's one and the same though.

Agree6 Disagree9

Jim Whyte was plastered all over the Scottish press years ago, copies at a public library near you, in orange order uniform and flute.
So previously a religious bigot. Now not? Or just not so open about it?

Agree5 Disagree8

@10 - What a balloon! The orange regalia was used on a previous comedy/ football programme aired weekly on STV. If you do your research you'll also see that Tommy Burns adorned the same regalia on the same show for a laugh.... {Ed007's Note - I think you are getting mixed up a bit.}

Agree9 Disagree4

Oooooooh yes i forgot Jim White runs sky doesnt he... pointless statement by 9

Don't know if you all saw but patilini(?uefa president) said we have no chance to go through against juve. Saying once the draw was made they were through, well I hope Lennon puts this up on the wall for the players to see so they give an extra effort in the game. I'm just worried that the ref will have a big part in the game but we will have to see. Hope we beat them cause maybe that will open his eyes to us joining another league and show how we are no small club.

Believable5 Unbelievable15

I think Platini has made his choice perfectly clear and wont go unnoticed by officals ... A man in his position shouldnt be drawn in to making such predictions ... A tad mischevious maybe ?....TTTS {Ed007's Note - Platini was only talking up 'his' team. He spent his most successful years playing for Juventus.}

Agree3 Disagree15

Before the draw a few Juve players were quoted as saying they want Celtic. Wether that is because they want to play at Celtic Park or they think its as good as a bye to the next round....well if its the later, they're up for a big reality check.

Mikey Bhoy

Agree7 Disagree11

To be honest Platini was just saying what Europe thinks. My own honest opinion is we will work them at Celtic Park, but we are not playing well enough to go into the game with confidence.I agree with ED, Platini is a Juve Legend and that's his team, but i also agree he might have been a bit more guarded considering his position in the game...............green jhedi

Agree3 Disagree10

I understand he is a legend but if translation is correct he seemed more disrespectful to CFC than respectful to his ex team ... One of the best midfielders the game has ever produced thou .TTTS

Agree2 Disagree9

Regardless of Platini's previous allegiances he must have none in his present appointment. He is clearly out of order and in the wrong.
On a positive note he has marked us clearly as the underdogs. I've no problem with that.

Agree2 Disagree9

Or is this Platini's way of letting the official's in charge of the game's know what he expect's. Just a thought.

just read yesterday's DR ( I know I should stop itr!) and that bampot Hateley's at it again, "he's backed up pretty much everything he declared he would". FFS, where do we start.......Stevo Dundee

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Yip he got the club sold for £22m, where's the money? Where's the ST money? New Rangers won't see much of it, McCoist can forget it.

Still top of the league IMO it's 6 games to the CL and of we win 6 of the 8 games then ill be happy.biggest fear is if we sell anyone big ie wanyama hooper.

See the newco got to play another 10 man team...that's just about every game they have player where either they have had a Penalty/sending off in.plus I see its spl refs doing their games ?

I only seen the second half of the game today bhoys as i was feeding the new bairn while his mother caught a nap but i could see we were badly missing Mulgrew! His delivery from free kicks, corners and crosses from wide left are invaluable to us. He is also a threat at corners and starts play well from the back or from deep on the left. We need stokesy back to take the weight of scoring off Hooper as you know as well as me we cannot count on big Sammy to start being prolific, even though the big guy has had a good season so far. All in all a very disappointing result and performance today. Never seen Wanyama play so many poor passes, and he wasn't even one of the worst performers today.

Why do SPL refs have to officiate at New Rangers fourth tier games?
New Rangers weren't getting anywhere until this was instigated. An amateur side had to be reduced to 10 men to give new Rangers a chance. Failure in fourth div sinks this new venture club financially so SFA keeps it floating for now.

Agree15 Disagree16

The BBC online real time updates......"Rangers quality shines through".......Keir Murray BBC football correspondent. Lol t*t.

Agree11 Disagree18

How many times is that Sevco has beaten 10 men this season?

Agree12 Disagree17

Well we did tell sevco they were stinking the place up for years with their anti-football

Agree9 Disagree15

It is some of the worst football I have seen on TV for years, imagine what the viewers outside Scotland think of that lmfao

Agree8 Disagree16

What do you expect from Sally? He learnt from auld wattie, his style of football went out with his fashion ffs

Agree9 Disagree15

It's the only way Sevco can win matches, it's not as if cheating is anything new from that ilk

Agree9 Disagree13

Haha celtic can talk 6 champions league games played 6 anti-football performances from the team that claim they will always have a go.

BigBear

Agree7 Disagree4

@8 do please inform me how we accumulated the biggest ever points for a Scottish team in the champions league by only playing negatively

Agree3 Disagree7

BigBear again. Hanging about like a bad smell. Who the f*ck cares what you think, your an imbecile. Your opinions are so predictable Im wondering if that's why the ed posts them because they are just amusingly biased. You agree with everything Charles Green does or says, your crowds are better this season, our opposition had more possession against us, were obsessed...f*ck off, your boring mate.

While I've mentioned it btw...Arsenal 7 Newcastle 3 yesterday. Arsenal 45% possession Newcastle 55%. Fact! That's how much possession matters.

Agree4 Disagree7

@10 At least leave a name with your post.

1: I dont think i have ever mentioned Charles Green in any post EVER.

2: I did not say that winning through negative football was bad, quite admirable actually as Lennon has now got Celtic doing what the likes of Chelsea and Rangers done for years.

3: I think you will find i am not biased but speak through FACTS, i have posted a good few times on here praising Celtic players.

4: Celtic slammed us for our tactics against european opposition for years and now this season you have done the same just sitting in and defending and trying to counter, I am not slagging this method it needs to be done when you are up against that kind of opposition. What annoys me is how when Rangers employed this tactic it was ''Anti-Football'' but when Celtic employ the tactic it is seen as a great effort and admirable... so i think you will find that i am not the biased one but many on here are.

P.S. ED sorry for the length of this post lol.

BigBear {Ed007's Note - No need to apologise, if others put as much thought into posts they might find they have less to moan about!}

Few things I've noticed watching Glasgows newest derby . 1) Isn't the cameraman doing wonders not showing the traditional Celtic end and the enclosure facing the main stand especially when it's a sell out and new world record for an away support . 2) Willie Collum is one of the worst refs to ever grace (ha) a football park . 3) The standard of football is shocking when you consider highly paid pros playing guys that are joiners and window cleaners . 4) McCulloch is still a cheating ba@@@@d...........DH

Believable16 Unbelievable24

Shameless they are. Was looking for something to watch and caught the last half hour. Such fun. I only know mcullich so I don't know who it was who dived and got qp player sent off. No wonder they are not going to dufc. Green looks a bit like general Custer.
Absolute rubbish. Won't be watching any of that again.

Agree12 Disagree20

Scotland's oldest club, sporting amateurs reduced to ten men. Versus second most expensive team in Scotland. With an SFA referee who should be officiating SPL games, what's he doing in fourth tier? New Rangers fortunes in div3 only changed 10 games ago when they started getting SPL referees for some unknown reason. Doesn't this strange anomaly make div3 unbalanced and an unequal sporting competition?

Agree16 Disagree16

New Rangers new world record in playing ten men amateur teams.

Agree13 Disagree15

It is the only way the authorities can guarantee sevco get through the divisions, making sure they win game by hook or by crook.

I hope the vile song getting sang at the rangers game today are going to be plastered all over the paper tomorrow or are they going to brush it under the carpet as usual just like they did the other day with there religious crap or is it just not Celtic fans that are allowed to do it?....wee darren

Believable16 Unbelievable22

Totally agree with you, and I hope UEFA and FARE have been alerted to it.

Agree13 Disagree17

Yeah I wonder what sevcos pet churnalists will have to say about that tomorrow.

Agree11 Disagree16

No way the press will report anything. They are all hurting so much at their club's demise they are willing to report anything showing our wonderful club in a bad way. It has been their way for years but now that their rabidness is fed by their sorrow.

Agree10 Disagree14

Scotland's national stadium, built by taxpayers money and home to our national association the SFA. Sullied and spoiled by the openly defiance to the law of sectarian abusive chanting. The club new Rangers surely must be fined substantially for their fans shameful disgrace. It's been going on for every single game in the fourth division and nothing has been done. This culture needs to be addressed by fining the club. £500k would be appropriate to fill the SFA coffers.

Agree11 Disagree14

Its one rule for us and one rule for sevco. More sevconians arrested for sectarianism the other week than there were arrested at Dens, did you read any apoligises from Green? All we read was someone told one of their players not to bless himself, it says it all really.

Agree10 Disagree14

It's on STV NOW:
Sandaza, who joined Rangers in August, said: "Am I a Catholic? I'm not talking about that. Is it strange to play for a Protestant club? That is not something football should be concerned about.

"But on my first day I was advised not to cross myself before matches.

However, Rangers are adamant the club had no influence on Sandaza's decision not to display his religious beliefs.

An Ibrox source told Record Sport last night: "It has never been the club's policy to advise players on this type of thing and it never will be."

The Rangers are officially calling Sandaza a liar. As the old club called anyone for 110 years that they didn't have a policy of not signing a catholic, when we know now they did.

Believable15 Unbelievable19

If the press do not push to expose who "advised" Sandaza then they are as culpable as the "advisor" Given the Scottish governments hard line on sectarianism( we all remember the league cup final v rangers when the chants, for 90 minutes from them, were truly shocking only for McAskill and Salmond to PRAISE fans) they also have to confront this to regain any credibility. The fact that The rangers have denied this means they are calling Sandaza a liar. McCoist is famous for his transparency speeches so how about it ally? Or are your club willing to put up with; A;A player making up stories about sectarian behaviour for no reason any sensible person could think of, or B; A bigot who still seems to think this NEW CLUB can prosper as the sectarian riddled club it was.I noticed the papers have went quiet on this already, some things change unfortunately not the press in the "greatest wee country in the world" A true disgrace............green jhedi

Agree10 Disagree17

It is astonishing that this shameful business has been condoned and encouraged by both Football Authorities and Scots Government.
In England; Racism in sport is openly condemned (quite rightly) and the perpetrators are punished and shamed and legislation is fully enforced.
Sectarianism and Bigotry is not only tolerated, but is unashamedly accepted as the norm in this Nation, which hopes to be independent and respected by all??

Greatest wee country in the world.
Before North Korea.
I've said it before and i'll say it again; the Media are driving the getaway car. It could not happen without them. pea

Agree10 Disagree16

I quite like this bit......

An Ibrox source told Record Sport last night: "It has never been the club's policy to advise players on this type of thing and it never will be."

It shows that the club are in fact, as we all know, a brand new entity. Why would a club that had an openly sectarian signing policy for 120 years say this?
