Hi all, congrats on getting through tonight and back where you belong. Just on here to say how great it was to see the solidarity banner on show at Celtic Park tonight and how great you celts have been in the battle of getting justice for the 96 and us LFC fans really appreciate the way you've been throughout, good luck in the groups. Went really well Ed thanks, I got 3A*'s, 4A's and 2B's. Henriksen is off to AZ isn't he? Thats a shame. He would have been great for you. Still delighted over us getting Sahin, he's class.
JFT96
Smithy {Ed007's Note - Congratulations Smithy (swat alert lol) I'm a bit disappointed with the Henriksen thing TBH, we had agreed to the fee ages ago but stalled and stalled with moving on with the deal. If Sahin can get back to the player he was at Dortmund, I seen quite a bit of him when he was there, you will be delighted with him.}

good performance by the lads. didn't really have to get out of the low gears over both legs to chalk up a 4-0 aggregate score. just read rhodes is having a medical at blackburn. 4.5m initially potentially rising to 8m. well out of our price range so we can finally put that one to bed. need a few players in for the group stage to have any impact but we've already hit our target for the season when it comes to europe. Nice to see big Wilson has finally decided he is up for the fight at least, long overdue. All in all a good nights work. Hail Hail.

Awright Ed -: Fantastic result tonight. Neil Lennon has now put himself up there with the greats, he has spoken about the players enhancing their reputations, what about Neil as a manager? I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. His style as a manager I would like to think there is a good mix in there Clough, O'Neill = Neil Lennon. Anyway now we have our 15m. Who can we expect to sign on Friday? Any inside info? Cheers. Ian L {Ed007's Note - Sorry Ian, I've got nothing new.}

great perfomance tonight. wilson was superb, wanyama was excellent and i thought brown drove the team on despite not being 100% fit. james forrest is a gem of a player and tony watt reminds me so much of wayne rooney when he burst onto the scene, that i'm sure we've got a player and a half there. i really think we have a chance of a succesful cl campaign. with a few new bodies (centre-half, target man and a creative midfielder) this squad could be as strong as we've had for many a long year. the youth set-up is obviously producing the goods (forrest, mulgrew, watt, the twardzick brothers, mcgeough - and a few others bubbling under quite nicely), peter lawell and the board are doing a WONDERFUL job, and in neil lennon we have a thoughtful, articulate, tactically sound manager. its seems to me that his man management skills are spot on and he understands how prestigous a job he is doing. so, we wait with bated breath for the cl draw tomorrow and the flurry of transfer activity we all hope will be taking place over the next few days. so my question to all the bhoys and ghirls out there is who would you like to see brought in before the deadline? hail hail, and i'll see you all at the party we'll be having in the champions league!

come on where are all the people that wanted big sammy to go? Thats why NL is the manager and not anyone els. I always thought sammy was quality but not consistent enough but he has stepped it right up and deserves every bit of praise he gets and more. I also thought willson was fantastic tonight along with jamsie n commons.
PS. all the people who have been slagging off hooper lately are yous blind? do yous not see how much work and effort he puts in when tracking back to his own half just to keep the play moving.

Big Sammy wasnt great for us as a cf. he's been outstanding since his switch to left wing. That's the difference. Kelvin Wilson was outstanding. I thought big Victor was having a so so game until his goal. Commons and hooper have played better. Charlie M put in a good solid shift. Forrest played well, green brigade outstanding. We're doing the huddle in the CL.

You have to laugh at some bookies who are offering the following odds on 1st scorer.
Anthony Stokes 9/2- He's injured FFS
MO Bangura 6/1 - He doesnt even play for us and even if he did he wouldnt have a 60/1 chance of scoring.
Finally Charle Mulgrew 14/1 - I'll have a tenner on that please.

We were linked with this guy (and others) for months and as usual peed about and leaked interest to press and miss out.
Is this a ploy to make us think the club are going for players they have no intent on signing?
If not, why do we perennially hesitate and fail to simply identify one or two targets and JUST GO FOR THEM?

Not a rumour but the players I would like Celtic to sign in the SPL are as follows:
Johnny Russell no more than 1.5m + a sell on fee
Gary Macky Steven no more than 1.5m + a sell on fee
Gunning (also UTD) no more than .75m
Daly (also UTD) no more than 1m
Chris Humphrey as per rumour
Jamie Murphy no more than 1.5m + sell on fee
Zaluskas no more than 1m
Outside the SPL
We need to sign a top player from Asia, preferably a striker this is for sale value in the continent as before.
Danny Wilson c/half
We need a no nonsense experienced c/half
Target man / no nonsense centre forward
However I believe in the relationship between Neil Lennon and John Park.

Celtic in for Chris Humphrey from Motherwell for 200k.Would rather get Jamie Murphy.Gbhoy
Believable1

I would choose Humphrey over Murphy anyday, Yes Murphy chips in with a few goals, but often drifts out of games, and really does not have the strength, Humphrey, offers the speed that we lack at present. Put Humphrey into our line up and his ability to get to the byline, would pay off. We have the strikers to finnish it off, where as Motherwell have Hidgon... say no more.
