The old heed was nipping yesterday ed. I had to try those 'Belfast Bombers' you were talking about.
I sent that Rab Nesbitt post under the influence. Lol.
I was even having naughty thoughts about Rab's missus. They are dangerous stuff ed. Lol.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Very Dangerous lol mate stay clear.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes, you owe me a full day of my life back. Lol.
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - You were warned lol}

Agree0 Disagree0

Errr no. Your "warning" consisted of calling me a southern shandy drinker !
I'd say that was a challenge. At least that's what my solicitor is saying.
And, thinking about it, I agree with him. Can you imagine a health warning on a can of Special Brew that said "not for southern shandy drinkers" ?
The Real KB {Ed007's Note - Don''t go near Belfast Bombers!!!!!!!!!!! lol}

ED007, sometimes I despair the way some people see something wrong in everything I post, some sad bear has questioned my motives wishing Tony's nephew good luck, simply because I ended LOL, what I meant was "lots of love" but sadly some took it as me mocking him. Words fail me.........Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Don't worry mate, we have more class than that, and decent Rangers fans know you weren't laughing, if you were I would have pulled you up over it. At least we know what intelligence is mate..}

Believable0 Unbelievable1

Cheers ED007 leave you all with a smile
The Scottish Siamese Twins have brought out their autobiography called
OOR WULLIE! LOL (this time lots of laughs) Timalloy

Am a rangers fan and as much as i dont agree with you on most things everybody knows that you didn't mean anything bad about tony nephew some people just trying to cause trouble and am sure tony appreciated it

campbell {Ed007's Note - Thanks Campbell, it's not my scene to slag ill people, lost enough to it over the years.}

Don't let it bother you Tim. They are probably sitting in the house with a bottle of buckfast can of super lager and a packet of goldenwonder ready salted. Lmao. And lol to you Tim. Lots of love xxxx

I know this ain't good but the only person ( if you could call him that) i'd wish ill health on is diouf!! Its terrible i know but im sure if this gets posted some people will agree with me ;)

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Yes i agree that wee s£%t is the scum of the earth, like neil warnock said I hope someone breaks his leg one day!! LOL

Agree5 Disagree1

In football the only one I wish ill on is Roy Keane, to deliberately end someones career, is as low as it goes.

GovanFR {Ed007's Note - You are a disgrace, to say that about a player what about Souness, Neil Simpson. Absolutely shocking statement, Gazza??? Grow up.

Agree2 Disagree2

Yep, im with you on this one, the guys a scumbag. wish him all the worst. hasn't even got a club!! cos no one wants him lol!!

Agree3 Disagree1

Govan ur a person too, keane was a good footballer who gave everything on every game so away you go back to the slums ;) {Ed007's Note - Good shout, class is class, Gazza? Durrant? You don't play in the EPL, CL if you are muck, what did they ever do?...}

Agree2 Disagree0

Govan FR always knew you were an "Ed Case" Snowy the dug has more class (and inteligence) than you hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Tim, I have never wished any harm on anyone, I think I am owed an apologise from that plank.}

Agree0 Disagree1

The 4 nameless posters, GovanFR (God Forgive you) Never wish anything like that to anyone. Ed you should have nipped it on the bud with the 1st poster and shot him down in flames an the 2nd. GovanFR was wrong to say that. What about the 3rd post they were bang out of order. It's getting really sad now. Wishing harm on people is Sad.
FF81 {Ed007's Note - Well said FF81, A decent Rangers man. If they want to go down nasty road I will. I have seen some ridiculous injuries to players over the years, but no excuse for Diouf being a complete scumbag.}

Agree1 Disagree1

Ed007 I am a disgrace, the original poster is not a disgrace that is ok is it because Diouf used to play for Rangers. My point about Roy Keane, if you can come up with others fair enough them too, is that he deliberately ended a career and he deserves the same. He took a mans livelihood away from him and you criticise me for saying he deserves the same. By wishing ill it doesn't mean death, or illness but he didn't deserve to play football again.

GovanFR {Ed007's Note - No, he spat on kids, broke a players leg and is a shambles, I am not arguing over this, is it because Keane is Irish? At least he admitted it. Diouf took a Scottish international player out as well. Who does he play with now? No want wants him. If he spat on my nephew he would know about it, he is a complete rat and a bully, ask Rangers youth players about him, ask McCoist about him. And Keano would kick the shit out him, at least he had minerals to face folk without spitting on them}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed what a pathetic response I couldn't care less whether Roy Keane is Irish or not. Don't dare suggest there is a sectarian undertone here. You are accusing me of prejudice that I would never have. It is very simple you think it is ok to wish ill on Diouf but not on Keane. If anyone thought I meant ill as in health about Keane then I apologize that is not what I meant. I meant he shouldn't be playing football after deliberately ending someones career. I am entitled to an opinion and perhaps you should consider before branding people a disgrace.

GovanFR {Ed007's Note - Diouf is a disgrace, thats all I said, and its not just me that says it. Would you want him at Rangers now???.}

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed007 I wouldn't want Diouf at Rangers because I don't think he is good enough and yes I agree his behaviour has been shocking. My issue is first of all with you calling me a disgrace and secondly suggesting I dislike Roy Keane because he is Irish.

GovanFR {Ed007's Note - That's how it sounded, and I was a bit shocked with it. If I have took it wrong I am sorry, you know I will apologise if I am wrong.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed we can draw a line under it. I do not take kindly to being accused of sectarianism or prejudice. Now we are clear on that we can move on.

GovanFR {Ed007's Note - Of course, and I do apologise if it went wrong.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh, and just in case no-one knew this, it was Haalands opposite knee to the one Keane injured that didn't respond to surgery.........Miko {Ed001's Note - doesn't matter Keane is still a thug and an animal for deliberately setting out to injure a fellow pro. He will forever be remembered for that, when he should have been remembered as a great player. He only has himself to blame as well. All because he wanted to make more money, despite being a multi-millionaire already, he just wanted more. Greed has destroyed his legacy.}

Hail hail Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Yeah mate, at least we can have each other to talk to, I wouldn't wish illness on anyone. I might be a cheeky get wouldn't wish any harm on anyone.}

Alright Timalloy, hope you're well mate. Finally someone other than Miko is on, hopefully get some decent banter on the go now. Didn't know you were under the weather ed007. Hope you're on the mend as well. Maybe these pages are cursed, don't think there's a healthy one among us lol.

Gerry The Ger. {Ed007's Note - You are welcome anytime mate. All decent Rangers fans are, but please, no 4Inarow kids stuff lol.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree Health is more important ED007, do you think Hibs second half performance will gee up team? Some of the stuff played was back to last season. If Mulgrew is fit I hope Lenny plays him and Rogne. I would also give Wanyama a start in place of either KI or Kayal. Although Sammy is now fit, we must keep Stokes/Hooper together. I feel confident another 3 goal win, really hope Aberdeen take something from bears.
Hail Hail Timalloy

Gerry The Ger. {Ed007's Note - Night mate, take care.}

Agree0 Disagree1

Hi Gerry, I am in a benevolent mood tonight so I won't be too cruel ha ha and just to prove it here is an Aberdeen joke
Aberdonian sailor shipwrecked with a sheep (had to be eh?) and a dog. After two months the sheep looked really enticing but dog kept chasing him away, he tried everything food, hitting it with a stick, chasing dog but it would not let him near the sheep, suddenly one day a beautiful blond in a skin tight wet suit emerged from the sea, and seeing the Aberdonian's sexual frustrations said "is there anything I can do to relieve your pent up sexual feelings" "yes" said the Aberdonian "Could you take the dog for a f.....g walk" LOL Timalloy

I'm not concerned with the larger tax bill as the worst i expect Rangers to pay is a token gesture. How much this will be though is unclear and without Rangers financial records in front of me i wouldn't like to estimate. What concerns me is CW intentions for Rangers, not the tax case.

Gerry The Ger.

*Haha, what a lot of drivel, you're making no sense Gezza, I'm sorry but when you come out with your pretentious claims of being more knowledgeable than most (regarding HMRC and the finance sector) on forums you leave yourself open to ridicule. Lol, you're a rocket!

Haw Gezza the moon-nugget, I've got over twenty years experience in dealing with HMRC, do you know why?

It's because I pay my taxes (you heard of PAYE? lol). I must say you seem to lack any real knowledge yourself as you are the self-proclaimed expert on tax issues.

What's the solution slick? Do you know the best possible solution for your sorry-ass club?

Na, thought not, I on the other hand have it from a very credible source (not reliable) that Rangers' books have been a shambles for years!

Lastly, I bow to your superior knowledge, however this "token gesture payment" that HMRC will settle for? What, in your experience, do you think will be acceptable to HMRC?

Utter nonsense you talk! Lol
HMRC want their cash Gezza-boy! Was it Barings Bank you worked for? Lol.

Ed is is just me, or has there been a big change in reporting of Rangers tax case, firstly everyone at Ibrox denied any problems, then low and behold even Rangers were admitting problems, the written press never mentioned it except what they got from Rangers press office, now they are all discussing it.Even the bears fans all put it down to a big Tim conspiracy, now even the staunchiest rangers fan is admitting administration is close. In one way Whyte has achieved his objective, in that when administration comes it will not now be such a terrible blow, as they have all been forewarned about it. Hope we take some confidence from second half at Easter Road and start remaining games in the same manner instead of chasing games after HT.
We do look shocking at the back and I have no idea what defensive coaching they get at training but even when all the injured players are back I think we will still be vulnerable as confidence in Foster is non-existant - although he did keep us in the Hibs game at 1-0 when the lad was right through.
Would like Wanyama to start before Ki and I think having Commons (and to an extent McCourt) out of favour is damaging our options when we are decimated by injuries and should be addressed now.
What is the position with the players out on loan Hooiveld, O'Dea, McGinn etc? Do they have a set period of loan and do any of them have a future at the club? If not , what happened and why were they not just sold and replaced?
Anyway I really hope this is not another false start like Dundee Utd and Motherwell when we thought we had turned the corner. 'Mon The Hoops.

Good Morning Ed, had a wee relapse and ended back in hospital but fingers crossed, OK now. Gerry the Ger thanks for good wishes much appreciated, hope you are enjoying better health, but dont worry still going to hope Rangers enter administration ha ha.
Also Ed last time I read these pages Tony's nephew was undergoing surgery is there any news?
Saw Hibs game in hospital, first half nearly gave me another replapse ha ha, but thankfully second half was the way we played last season. Ed in your opinion what is wrong this season, virtually same players, last year we played every team off the park including Rangers but this season we appear a team with no confidence, any ideas ed? Neil T {Ed007's Note - I've not heard from Tony but glad you are doing ok Neil, chin up mate. I think there is a confidence problem at CP just now, it's all I can think of.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Alright Neil T sorry to hear of your relapse mate. Hope u make a quick recovery. I'm doing away mate. Just have to take each day as it comes eh. I'm actually pretty confident about the tax case, i definitely think we will have to pay something back to HMRC but nothing like the figure's being banded about in the press. HMRC is probably one of the worst run departments in the country and they have been made to look completely incompetent time and time again, i really can't see why this case will be any different.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree0 Disagree0

ED, Gerry with this article being written by Keevins, some people think he is putting views held by ibrox insiders, he is one of those journalists who only prints what Ibrox press office say, some bears think he is a tim, he is but had a big falling out first with the old Celtic board and then an even bigger falling out with Billy McNeil when he was Celtic manager, Keevins has had a down on Celtic ever since, he is a petty man, (like several other Scottish Journalists) and has carried a grudge against everything Celtic ever since. Chin up Gerry hail hail Neil T {Ed007's Note - Did Keevins not got to the same school Durrant went to? Obviously at different times lol.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Gerry..i hope your not basing your assumptions on mistakes that get made with tax codes or tax credits etc. This is completely different and will have a dedicated specialist due to it being high profile (well in Glasgow anyway).

I'm really not bothered what way it goes, its dragged on too long now & no doubt our board will adjust accordingly and put a seal on the biscuit tin should it go against Rangers - Chrissy

Agree0 Disagree0

I have to admit i'm not a fan of Keevins or the press generally. It seems Keevins is disliked by both Rangers and Celtic fans. Almost as much of a phud as Chico Murray lol.Journalists will make anything up to sell papers, anything i read in the papers i take with a pinch of salt.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic would be nothing without rangers

Agree2 Disagree2

Alright Chrissy. I'm basing it on personal experience i have had with HMRC whilst employed in the finance sector. Quite honestly it has to be the most incompetent set up i have ever seen. I'd say 95% of their staff haven't a clue what they are doing or what the rules and regulations are as they change so frequently. As for their feck up with tax codes etc. Thats just the tip of a very large iceberg mate.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gezza, you're talkin absolute codswallop! Your statements are conjecture and without foundation, HMRC want their money and they'll put your club into administration to get it.....how many times!?!

Here's a wee song I produced not so long ago:

Hello, hello, we are the bailiff boys!
Hello, hello, you know we want our dough!
We're up to our knees in Rangers debt,
Pay up or you'll die!
For we are the Admin Bailiff Boys!
Hello, Hello.........lol

Enjoy ya moonman......There's somebody at the door!

Miko x

Agree0 Disagree0

That's funny coz Rangers are nothing! lol........Miko

Agree0 Disagree0

Lol Miko you crack me up. I've had personal experience with dealing with HMRC on a daily basis for more than 10 years, have you? Nah i think not. As i said yesterday i won't be drawn into a discussion on a tax case you evidently know nothing about. As i'm sure everyone now knows after ed001 tore u a new one. I'll just content myself with being 10 pts clear.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gerry..CW could put them into Adminstration today based solely on the smaller tax bill that is due right now. Are they not just disputing the penalties etc on that one..

I also work in the Financial Services sector but tax is a whole different game.

Agree0 Disagree0

Also most of us 'normal' folk get thru to the call centre at the tax centre, don't think this will be the same...

Agree0 Disagree0

CW could place Rangers into administration at anytime only if they couldn't meet their existing financial obligations.Rangers have more than enough funds to pay the small tax bill. CW for whatever reason has decided to play hardball with HMRC on this though. Only if Rangers lose the larger case will they enter administration as there is simply no benefit to be had by doing it now.I'm not concerned with the larger tax bill as the worst i expect Rangers to pay is a token gesture. How much this will be though is unclear and without Rangers financial records in front of me i wouldn't like to estimate. What concerns me is CW intentions for Rangers, not the tax case.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree0 Disagree0

As for dealing with HMRC over the phone it wasn't just telephone based advisors i was speaking to or working with. These were executives within HMRC who didn't know their arse from their elbow. As for the tax case this is the last time i will be discussing it as there is simply no point debating financial matters with people who don't understand them. Not intended as an insult to anybody but this is a profession that takes years to learn and can't just be picked up from the back of a paper.

Gerry The Ger.

Agree0 Disagree0

Okay...the 'other' bill could force administration although the queston would be why he chose to do it.

This one emerged in the club's accounts this April and is related to a different tax avoidance ruse operated between 1999 and 2003. Called a Discounted Options Scheme, it is a more complicated version of the EBT as it funnels what experts call the "disguised remuneration" through a "money-box company" set up in a tax haven. The beneficiary then gets shares in the company and you can guess the rest. The sum Rangers owe - and they have agreed this much - is £2.8m in back taxes and interest. What they continue to dispute is the £1.4m HMRC is demanding in penalties. The undisputed amount is due now, in fact, it's overdue again. The taxman has been applying considerable pressure in recent weeks, via the courts, prompting some to wonder if Rangers can even pay this relatively small sum.

As we all know, Rangers are heading for administration which may well force them to start afresh under a new name as well as being deducted 10 points, possibly 25 points depending on how much is owed to HMRC after the tax case.
So...let's assume Rangers are deducted just the 10 points but go on to win the league as a newly formedt team, will that mean we will be inundated by the 'Grey Matter Deficit Brigade' shouting

"1 title and counting"? Oh no! Still, they'll be able to claim they achieved something first before Celtic (administration).

Believable1 Unbelievable3

Why did you just add the 25 points bit on to that you talk crap never will happen even if it dis give yous a small chance of winning the league

What has poppies got to do with politics if they want their money back give it to them and refuse to them any tickets for games they apply to. Those people the poppies are for have nothing to do with politics. e already held
talks with Celtic, who took Sion's place in the
group, Atletico Madrid and Udinese.
Sion were thrown out of the competition after
fielding ineligible players in their play-off
matches against Celtic.
But the Swiss club have mounted legal
challenges to their expulsion.
Uefa rejected attempts by the club to regain
their place via the Swiss civil court in the canton
of Vaud, insisting that the Court of Arbitration
for Sport is the only authority with jurisdiction
over the matter.
A Uefa statement read: "After having
consulted the clubs in Group I of the Uefa
Europa League, Uefa has now invited FC
Sion to express its views on the potential
impact of the club's possible
reintegration in the Uefa Europa League,
and on the match schedule in particular.
"Respecting the process as announced,
Uefa is pursuing its consultations with the
clubs that could be affected by FC Sion's
possible reintegration if the Court of Arbitration
for Sport (Cas) should decide in favour of the
club.
"Uefa has therefore invited the FC Sion
management to discuss the possibilities.
"If the Cas decides in favour of FC Sion in the
dispute between Uefa and the Swiss club, the
Uefa Europa League calendar may have to be
adapted. The Cas wishes to hear both parties on
24 November.
"If accepted by FC Sion, this consultation could
take place next week."
Contingency plans for Sion's readmission have
already been made including an option to annul
the group fixtures already played between
Celtic, Udinese, Atletico Madrid and Rennes and
starting a new five-team group with teams
playing each other once.
Others options would see Sion join Group I as it
stands and playing each team home and away
or the Swiss club moving directly into the last 32
of the competition after an undefined play-off .
Christian Constantin's Sion could yet be re-
introduced to the Europa League
If the Court of Arbitration for
Sport decides in favour of FC Sion
in the dispute between Uefa and
the Swiss club, the Uefa Europa
League calendar may have to be
adapted

I see Tony Roper was mentioned a bit earlier on this page. I am reading a book called jungle tales at the moment, it's full of wee stories from the fans about their times in the old jungle.
Well anyway, Tony tells how he was the last captain to lift a trophy before the jungle became seated.
Rangers had lifted the cup against Aberdeen a few weeks beforehand, and thought they would be the last. However,Celtic had a blow away the blues night in honour of the Lisbon Lions, and the Jungle.
Celtic played Man u, but at the end Dukla Pumpherston played Coronation st stars for a cup.
Danny Mcgrain told Tony to go up and collect it, as he was the captain of D.P, and show it off to the Jungle.Tony says he had his Celtic top on underneath his DP shirt, and was carried shoulder high in front of the jungle, and a 20,000 crowd that night. He says he has the photo framed, and also made into coasters. So there you go, Jamesy Cotter was the last man to lift a cup in front of the old jungle, what do you think of that Mary doll.
