A Glasgow club is almost at 10 in a row.
This is not been achieved through fair play and football ability . Rangers 2012 have today been awarded 9 home cup draws in a row. If they get the right ref, no doubt they will beat Motherwell and get their only 10 in a row . The odds of getting 9 in a row is 512-1. Rangers have hot balls no doubt.

Normally I would accept the luck of the draw Old Bhoy but this stinks of 2 week old Haddock. Have the institution again colluded to give the tramps a home tie to keep them in business another week? It really is looking very dodgy. What odds are they for getting their 10th home tie if they beat 'Well? Must be in the thousands to one! The only thing is that silly man picking the balls didn't pick the iced ball to give them a non league team!

Being a paranoid tim I think Sevco will continue to get HOME ties as this gives club access to much needed revenue. The SFA are hoping they get to final which would mean 5 possible 50,000 crowds and the bulk of money going to the new club.

29 Nov 2016 20:59:45
Is it not the case that cup games the gate revenue is split between both teams tim? And league business home team keep the revenue?

Maybe so lummy but 50% of 50,000 is a lot more than 50% of 10,000 or whatever it is.

Def. Stepbhoy That would be the main reason to have Rangers balls heated .
Too weak a club from 3rd div . Mightn't fill Ipox but M'well can often lie down to the Bears.

Does anyone follow the English championship? Was just curious to know how Stefan Johansson was getting on with Fulham. I thought if he could recover his form he showed in his first season he could have been at worst a decent squad player for us.

Started off horrendously but has found his feet. He's looking like one of Fulham's better players now. I wouldn't put money on Fulham making the play offs though.

Well done the hoops on the first part of the treble.
But guys, ed, I don't know about u guys but I have been besieged by our friends (loosely) across the city today about how they (Aberdeen) lay down to us.
Its actually quite laffable cheats accusing others of cheating, I don't know any pro player who would not try his best in ANY game no matter the opposition.
Also not so long ago McInness was being touted for their manager, now he is a cheat.
Make your mind up lol.
They confuse themselves they really do.
Another part was how crap Aberdeem are, now that they are 2nd in the league.
This statement is beyond laffable as they are only 2nd due to Aberdeen having no league fixture.
So if the mob across the road had no fixture at the weekend they would be looking up at Aberdeen whilst telling us how crap they are.
DO THEY NOT REALISE THEY ARE CALLING THEIR OWN TEAM WORSE THAN CRAP LOL.
Ed I beg u give me strength it can't just be the schools lol.

rayman99: been getting that as well mate, but to be honest its how we played and not Aberdeen. We never let them play yesterday, so the huns think the sheep just lay down.

Like when they fannies 'lay down' when we gubbed them 5-1. Just tell them to take a 'shut-up pill' like I did with my sevco associates.

SFA to hold URGENT ENQUIRY

With tonight's Scottish Cup draw now made, Mr Regan has instituted a full enquiry into why Sevco were drawn against fellow SPFL team Motherwell and NOT Edinburgh City as per pre planning meeting.
Daily Record reporter (loosely used) wrote that it looks like Motherwell and Edinburgh city's balls were placed in wrong order.

The problems arose when having decided that Rangers would get Forres Mechanics or Stenhousemuir, some people at the SFA started to worry that if Stenhousemuir were to win through, then it might be a bit too tricky for them.
They then decided to give them Bonnyrigg Rose, but weren't able to heat the ball in time.
An SFA spokesman has apologised to Rangers, and assured them that despite this unforgivable mix up, all possible measures would be put in place to ensure that Rangers get through the tie.
The spokesman has also assured Rangers that from the fifth round, measures would be introduced to ensure that they once again receive the easiest draw possible. He hopes the prompt action taken by the SFA shows how they have the good of the game at heart, and that their impartiality should never again be questioned.

Brendan Rodgers speaking outside Celtic Park after the game last night would bring a tear to a TIMS glass eye. Walking around with KT shaking hands as a one guy say's 'thank-you Brendan' before a woman says 'God Bless you son. Finally Brendan chokes and can't quite get it out as he speaks about winning his first trophy 'for the club he's supported alll his life'. That talk he had with Tommy Burns must have made some impression. 'When you become the manager of Celtic Brendan-you become the leader of a people and a cause'. It was Brendan's destiny I think to manage Celtic. Like Tommy and KT and Big Billy and Bertie he is one of us. And to see the Celtic players from other countries like Henrik before them of all faiths and none developing a life long attachment to Celtic makes me proud to be a member of the Celtic Family. PS: Grace must be the best non-football song sung at football of all time. Thanks Green Brigade.

Well said JFP

At times like yesterday I always remember individuals in my life that Celtic meant so much too and introduced me to Celtic who are no longer sadly here

I said to you yesterday that I love that song I could see all the sevconians @ t semi final perplexed @ what we were signing to also see if there was a reason for them too complain about it!

Tommy Burns is my fav Celt and surely he must be next to be honoured after next years 50 milestone after the Lions (y)

I thought it was a very impressive performance yesterday.
There seems to be a real hunger in the team at the moment, even when we have injuries, the players coming in are really stepping up, it's great to see players enjoying their football and it shows the respect they have for the manager.
To cap it all, I'm sure I heard Derek McInniss say that the better team won.
For him to admit that, shows what a dominant performance the team put in.

Hunger skill and tactics equals success and we had all yesterday in abundance. No doubt Brendan has the answers even before the questions are posed . Last season so many people argued that neither Brown nor Forrest had any future with Celtic . Yesterday they were doubtless the two best players on the pitch . It is especially rewarding when one of own Forrest plays so well . He started this season in tremendous form, so good that opposing managers started to double mark him to quieten him down . Unbelievably some Celtic fans used these few quiet games, to get on his back but yesterday he put on a performance that he will be delighted to tell his grandchildren skilful running, end product and bravery all present in abundance
Meanwhile Paddy Roberts got a rare enough start and had a reasonably good game and showed promise.

It makes a huge difference when the players want to play for a manager and buy into his enthusiasm and ideas and the difference in several players from last season is there for all to see.
We started the game yesterday full of confidence and determination and Aberdeen on the other hand looked apprehensive and nervous and I think this is because the fear-factor is back in Scotland.
There is also a good understanding developing between the centre backs and they are both growing in stature week by week.
The football we are playing is great to watch, with goals right through the team and BR still wants to improve and push-on.
It's a great time to be associated with Celtic just now.

Old bhoy I want Forrest or anyone else wearing the hoops to do well, I back n backed broony despite folk saying he was finished. Forrest turned up yesterday after weeks of inconsistency n put in the performance that he needs to do more often, if he did so I would be over the moon as would a lot of other posters who see the holes in his game, I want the best for celtic n if brendan can get james more consistently starring in matches, n by that I mean running with the ball, beating men, being direct n scoring then what a player.
Again to a man we were excellent n out battled n out played the sheep from start to finish. Hail hail.
