The Daily Ranger saying that Southampton will only sanction a deal for FF if Ntcham goes the other way, i would be asking for FF and Noussi or telling them no. Would rather have Hart in goals and keep Ntcham but if we could secure both and possibly a few mill going the other way it would be good business. Depending on Soro's quality it could leave us needing to buy a centre mid with some power about them. HH.

On his game Ntcham has it all and he could be a Celtic Great. However, there have been several occasions where he is not at his best and there were even questions about his full commitment.
If he (or anyone else) wants to go then make a deal for people who wish to be here and will be up for the biggest challenge to date.
It's imperative next season to have as many players focused and committed 100% to Celtic and if not sell for profit and replace.

Doesn't seem a fair trade unless you think Ntcham is worth Denbele type money. Personally I don't think he's worth anywhere near that.

Ntcham I’d say you’d be looking for 12 to 14 mill.

Hazard, Mullen, Dembele, Oko-Flex and Aitchison will be lucky to get near the 1st team squad. Hendry and Bayo's time should be up. Bolingoli's too IMO.

It was my first cup final and I had a brilliant seat in the main stand. I was only a few rows up from the old enclosure and in line with the free kick.
I was also at the first Semi final game against Motherwell with Tommy Burns and Gary McAllister scoring the goals.

28 Jun 2020 17:29:41
I was behind the goal got a great view of the free kick, it was in the minute it left Provans boot.
Pay at the gate if I mind right, those were the days😂😂 God knows how many were in that day was supposed to be around 70,000 I think, but closer to 90,000 I would imagine.

I was 13 and sat in the stand, Charlie Nicholas sat right next to me (massive hero of mine at time) so I barely saw the game🙄, was the 100th (centenary) final. provan and mcgarvey. never forget it.

guys is it just me or am i being selfish but I'm struggling to understand why supporters won't be in stadiums from the start of the season obviously with limited capacity and regulations in place when basically everything else is getting opened up on july 15.

The whole situation has become more confusing and even duplicitous depending on who you listen to or take guidance from.
If certain indoor facilities and venues are accessible with controlled entry and strict spacing rules; then you would think football stadia would be allowed some sort of limited attendance?
The problem may be who gets in and who doesn't and what about crowds gathering just on the off-chance of entry or just to be involved?
It's a subject that will be addressed at stage 4 I'm sure.

Agree3 Disagree0

28 Jun 2020 16:13:26
Don’t think working out spacing for crowd capacity would be to difficult, I think the safety issues are getting supporters in and out of stadiums at a safe social distance.
Toilet facilities would be another concern, lounges and hospitality would remain closed.
The costs for extra staff required Would be sky high, there’s also the planning behind the scenes on which fans to invite on a weekly basis.
Personally I think it will be a while before fans are allowed back into stadiums, Hope I’m wrong because the thought of not seeing the hoops in near future is soul destroying.

If I've read online articles right Belgium Juliper league and French Ligue 1 court case rulings have been overturned and teams that have won promotion and been relegated in each league stands.

Alex Rae will be seething lmao

Also there is a video on youtube of Dave King on a telephone interview for a South African lunchtime business tv show. Worth watching to get an insight into the shady dealings going on at Ibroke. Fraud, money laundering, racketeering and tax evasion were some of his charges that were "dropped" (South Africa is a very corrupt country, would not be surprised if he bribed officials)

Can someone please tell me which idiot on our board thought that letting Sevco join our pre season tournament in France was a good idea?
Especially when France hope to allow fans attend these games, we all know the knuckledraggers of sevco will go over there and cause mayhem and we will get associated with it.
BAD MOVE CELTIC.

Tim if that’s right it’s madness. Nearly as mad as me and ma laddie being asked for over £1000 between us to watch Celtic on the TV in the living room next season.

Celtic became the 3rd club in the 4 team tournament.
There were rumours that Sevco could become that 4th club.
Maybe Celtic should have declined if they thought Sevco were going to get invited.
Or it could be that is the main reason Celtic accepted the offer in the first place.

Hope that's a BIG non-starter for too many reasons to list.

Celtic_mad. with you so many reasons why Celtic should make certain this is a non starter.
One reason being sevco always so good in close season competitions would make them certain favourites.

{Ed007's Note - Late? The window isn't even open yet, Ryan.}

28 Jun 2020 11:58:24
Ed.
I read an article yesterday suggesting the window opened on the 9th of June until the 1st September which I don’t think is accurate.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It was meant to open on the 9th of June but was postponed after UEFA advised that all windows close on October 5th and as the window can only be open for 12 weeks that takes it back to a July 13th start by my counting.}

28 Jun 2020 12:44:14
It would make sense to do that Ed. Cheers 👍.

The term season is clearly defined in the SPFL rule book. " Season means period of the year commencing on the date of the first league match in a season ( game No.1) and ending on the date of the last league match in the same season ( game No.36 or 38 depending in which league you play in) or otherwise determined by the board and which excludes the close season".

This why I feel Hearts and Partick Thistle's legal acton will come to nothing. It clearly states in the rules that the board can call the league. The board took into consideration the wishes of their member clubs by holding a democratic vote before making a decision. The board then held a meeting where EVERY club in the top flight ( Hearts included) agreed that the season could not be finished and the board took the decision to call the league as per the rules.

A certain new club's fans cry of cheating and tainted titles being awarded. Rule C38 " The club occupying position one in the league at the end of a season shall be declared champion club of the league and shall hold the Scottish Professional Football League Trophy until the end of the next season's league competition is concluded"

The actions of the SPFL Board have been carried out to the rules. To satisfy this to it's member clubs an Independant Investigation was carried out which found NO wrong doing by the SPFL board.

I genuinely feel sorry for the clubs who have been relegated as they had a realistic chance of survival. I for one was hoping for league reconstruction as our game badly needs it in my opinion.

However to conclude, there has been no unfair relegation or tainted titles been given out. Everything has been done fair and according to the rules. I am aware a certain club doesn't like playing by the rules but rules are there to be adhered to by all member clubs so tough titty you'll just need to find a genuine and legitimate way of winning a title before it's 10,11,12,13,14,15 in a row.

When the Irish league finished early there was only 4 points in it.
We’re being made to feel our club has actually done something wrong in all of this.
Has the French not changed their mind and the clubs are now being relegated?

the french league have relegated . what have sevco got left to complain about now . Rules are part of the game it`s obvious sevco don`t like rules.

It doesn't matter what other leagues do, other leagues will make their own decisions based on their own rules.

Hello my friends the league was won fair and square when the sevies started dropping points here there and everywhere and took doings off of Hamilton they were actually lucky the season ended.

If not the points and goal difference would have been doubled. Broony said himself we would scud sevco home and away and the rate they were dropping points would have been a Massive gap!

Whatever happens elsewhere is irrelevant. Folk like Rae and the other naysayers are sad pathetic losers.

They fear what is coming and it is going to be 10 in a row
Most likely a fourth clean sweep of silverware and Celtic becoming the worlds most successful club

Hail Hail.
