If Wanyama is being courted by a few higher end teams? Why don't they make their move now when they know the going rate? 12.5/13mil you get your man? For talking sakes he goes to Cardiff (doubtfull) does what he does by being immense, the teams that held off would need to pay 20 for his services later on. Genuinely this guys world class and will get better and its scary that people think otherwise!
There's no bidding war, he's better than Cardiff and Southampton, he's effin top 8 at least in EPL then movin on to better things, get a grip.
Sorry for the swear word ED :)

When we sign Wanyama he will join Malky, Marshall and Bellamy as old bhoys with us. Compared to Ledley ( you are welcome to him) Adam Matthews (who we may re-sign) and, I almost forgot, Loovens I think we know whose got the best of the deals.

Said the same thing yesterday as a reply on rumours page.
Bigger clubs should move now if they want to save £10m further down the line. He is awesome and will get even better with maturity and experience.

JJ

Agree0 Disagree0

Maybe there aren't as many really seriously interested parties as everyone seems to think there are. All clubs now know how much they have to pay for him and still they're holding off. They clearly don't value him in the same category as so many fans do. Time for fans to get real!

Was a bit bored so I thought I would read up on this fantastic new bus the sevvies have bought. I have to say, it's brilliant! It has personalised seat rests for McSlug, Durrant and McDowall. I assume this assures them a future with the club as the cost to change these seats would run into the tens, maybe hundreds of pounds.

Secondly, it comes with it's own branch of Greggs in the back, just in case they get a bit peckish on the long journey to Brora or Coatbridge.

Thirdly, it has PS3's which will give the sevconian players vital experience in virtual European football, and sluggy can brush up his skills with football manager.
Most importantly, it can be hired out to any knuckledragger for a nominal fee. This includes official photographs beside the WTP number plate "We the peepul" forget the are as that would make it illegal, the last thing sevvies want to do is upset the authorities (last time they did that they were liquidated).
Let's face it bhoys, they are teaching us a lesson in business here. We have to make do with using scheduled or chartered flights to our fixtures, they have the joy of having their own bus (at the weekends as long as it doesn't clash with big Billy's granddaughters's wedding) As GJ said earlier, our board are letting us down with us not having our own superbus.
Post your suggestions to what you would like to see in our new bus. For starters, I would like to see a big countdown board to when the sevvies will enter administration pt 2, and an us and them income calculator.

Of course, that was why they went bankrupt, no luxury bus. It all fits now. What a laugh we're in for again with them. Remember last year? They were going to win a quadruple and go through the divisions with 100% record. Their new players have all got their increase in pay and now with this bus. What can possibly go wrong? Ally must stay.

Agree0 Disagree0

They needed the bus as Stranraer, Brechin, Forfar, Arbroath, Stenhousemuir, Ayr, Airdrie and Fife don't have airports lol

Regarding their new bus.
Is it just me? or could it be their latest new director, who happens to run a bus company, has donated this and then claimed all the tax breaks going and then some. nah? no one associated down Govan way would act dishonestly, would they? Timalloy

Agree0 Disagree0

I have read most about this bus and what a laugh, but the best comment on another site with a dizzy bear saying we will be traveling on the roads in luxury, a boy replied by saying we're celtics going they don't need roads, pure class it's a laugh a minute with this mob

All quiet on the East End front. I personally see this as a good sign, the only thing I've heard from NL is that Vic's departure is inevitable-speculation I know but I don't think he'd say it unless at least one deal was an option. Media are gonnae do their thing but ultimately Ctic are so far under the radar on this stuff that we'll on really hear something when the is something to hear. We are in a very special position where we have established ourselves as that springboard club for young talent, that coupled with a more than competent scouting system put us in a great position. I know this isn't a rumour but I think we do need to keep calm and wait for the concrete. Besides our current great first 11ers we have McGeogh and Atajic who both seem right ready to come through. When I think back to 4 years ago, I feel great! Daviebhoy77

I really hope Longmuir gets the SPFL top job. He's magic.
He tried so many times to Scuttle the good ship SPFL before it sailed, but don't hold it against him.
He doesn't have top tier league executive management level experience. That makes him incompetent. But hey, the guys got great contacts and references.

28 Jun 2013 22:33:06
Not sure how to take your post un-named poster, are you taking the p***? Although I don't know Dave Longmuir personally, I've been told from mates who live in the same town as him that he's a die hard Sevconian, and has friends who when I stayed in this town were the bitterest of the bitterest Sevconians. So if he gets the top job nothing changed in Scottish football. Stevie

One can't help but be a bit envious of the Sevvies, yes granted they are a Scottish 3rd tier team and yes their team is total j*bbies, but none of that matters when you are cuttin aboot in that smashin big bus! Drewzybhoy .

What is going on with this bus business, I'm lost and don't get it?!

How did they get about last season, in taxis or something and why is a bus a big deal (I take it this bus is normal and isn't a transformer)? ~ Mrs E

The standard of Irish league football is terrible, league of Ireland clubs have been tanking them for years in the setanta cup.Celtic know that the first leg being played there will make no difference so will give Cliftonville a chance to make a few pound in gate receipts rather than going into it on the back of a heavy defeat

Believable0 Unbelievable0

No name poster why so disrespectful to cliftonville? we been tanked a right few times in recent years by so called minnows or struggled badly last season for example Arbroath home and away Scottish cup ties, previous years raith rvs, ict, ross county, Europe by that Slovak team, st Mirren league cup semi all games that we were expected to win but didn't so let's not knock cliftonville show them some respect.
dhman

Agree0 Disagree0

@1/ I agree.I think we will have some sticky times in the away leg By all accounts the pitch is very narrow, that will allow them to be on us the whole game. It's also an artificial pitch which will not help. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

@1. He's being disrespectful to celtic. There will be no complacency allowed, after all its not THE rangers we're playing and this match will be tough against a well organised team with a good manager.

With the news that The rangers have been drawn to play Albion Rovers in the pawn shop cup, Strathclyde police issued the following statement:

We are very excited at the thought of bestest bus in the whole world gliding it's way from the M8 to the ground majestically ferrying Ally's multi pence squad in luxury unseen in Scotland. We will organise the route so people can come and see the bus and wave to it.We must stress that no one will be allowed to touch the bus, it has The rangers tartan and custom headrests y'know, as it's by far the best bus in the country. Fans of the bus will be allowed to ooo and aahh as it wooshes by.We hope people will respect the bus and realise what a wonderful event this is for the area.

Ally McCoist was said to be deeply disappointed that he is no longer the heaviest coach at the club. green jhedi

Believable0 Unbelievable0

But is it a new world record bus? . shammy

In all seriousness though this satirical shanfest knows no bounds does it. If you didn't know any better you would think they were trying to make themselves look tacky and further embarrass themselves. There really isn't a single sole over their way with any class or tact whatsoever is there.

Maybe its all a ploy to make us laugh ourselves to death lol

John Guidetti available for loan, Man City saying they don't want to loan him to another premiership side. He's being linked with Doncaster this morning. Surely we should be interested in him. Man City would be giving a young player Champions League experience by loaning him to us. Surely this would be of more benefit them and the player.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great shout. he would destroy defences at home and in europe. class player.

Would be a waste to see him in the championship!

Man city wouldn't consider it until group stages is confirmed. Witout those 6games the spl is substandard to the championship

Strange that world renowned 'journalist' Keith Jackson has no follow up to his Stockbridge splash. We all know how the tabloids work. Release a big story then drip feed more over daily over the week, on some occasions the Sunday sister paper will run it as well, until a statement is issued thus carrying the story on.

This is accepted tabloid practice.Unless your Jackson.I have been following the Charlotte Fakes for months, via audio and e-mails, and there are more damning stories than this. So why would a probing, investigative journalistic legend like Keith suddenly stop? Two reasons spring to mind.

Either he has been told to stop by The rangers, or someone inside them, or he was told to print by The rangers, or someone inside them.If any of theories are on the money yet another columnist is under the control of The rangers. let's remember that he was Jabba's apprentice, in more ways than one I suspect. green jhedi

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bottom line is as usual msm not interested in looking into any bad news regarding this new club or old club lazy journalisim at best

Agree0 Disagree0

Think that someone is behind this at the dust bowl jabba would be my guess but you never know there are that many spivis over at spivco

Agree0 Disagree0

The sorcerors apprentice. Or maybe more likely the rhinosorcerors apprentice. Sopotcelt.

Agree0 Disagree0

Personally I always believed Walter Smith had power over all these plebs while managing Rangers and since he arrived back on the scene there has been all sorts of cover ups, negligent journalism and even decisions going back in there favour. They go on about Lawwell but there is far more evidence to support the cardigan holding something over the lot of them. Maybe its all in the handshake.

RANGERS’ brand new team bus has been described as the best in Scotland after it arrived in the country from Holland.

Suppliers Bruce Coaches have invested a significant sum in what they call a ‘Premiership-level’ vehicle to transport Ally McCoist and his players around the country in.

Dear oh dear. A class act

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Lawwell and the rest should hang their head in shame! Never mind huge money from the CL, young exciting signings from Europe and a total revamp of the area surrounding Celtic Park.Never mind about lucrative contracts with premium sponsors and profit being made from player investment. We demand a new bus! Time to go Peter your not fit for purpose! They have even got sevco tartan carpets! We need to get out of their shadow. NOW!. green jhedi

Agree0 Disagree0

Is it a we are the people carrier

I got told from a mate that works on the buses that rangers are gona sign cliff Richards. And are looking in to a loan deal for reg vernie, what a laughing stock they are Any thing to take the minds and eyes off of what is really going on at castle grey skull, shinny shinny that's all they need to look the other way

All funny replies guys, but maybe we should follow sevcos lead in this one . then at least we wouldn't be giving our money to parks of hamilton, {we do still use them don't we?} because we all know where that money could end up.
