Sebo? Still laughing at that, is it dawning that whyte pulled a fast one? Are they that desperate for numbers? Just desperate for anyone ha ha. A noticed rumour bout lampard And drenthe on there aswell lol. We know whats happening over there, we have been there, i remember the signs just a bit too well still.
Jamie mac (what goes sound) {Ed007's Note - I saw that Weir and Healy will get offered new 12 month contracts. Weir I can understand as even his experience in the dressing room could be vital (although he is 8 years older than the new Chelsea manager) and he could help with coaching. Healy though is just filling the numbers IMO and like you say Jamie, we have seen all these warning signs at CFC before. Do you mean Frank Lampard Jnr or his dad as a coach?}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Frank Lampard jr. has declared his love for the Gers, i'm not saying that he's definitely going to become a Rangers player even in a couple of years time but because he's a bear he could come and spend some time :) Healy isn't a desperate signing give him some games and he could score goals It's great to be a bluenose

Agree0 Disagree0

Wayne Rooney has a soft spot for the hoops but it means nothing. Who cares? I doubt these guys would actually want to play for us at any point
Kevbhoy

Agree0 Disagree0

Edoo7 and Tony you will LOVE this rumour apparently whyte has offered £1.7 for Goddwillie but United MUST PAY IT ALL BACK IF HE GOES TO JAIL heard this from TWO diffferent sources sounds STUPID but more you think on it the type of thing whyte looks to do these days any thoughts gang? Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Hi Tim, that is very bizarre but stranger deals have been struck, although usually in foreign countries.}

Hey guys, get yourselves onto the Rangers site for the best laugh you'll get this summer.

The Teddies are doing their usual in respect of Danns, Conway, Hemed, and most likely Goodwille. They're saying they "weren't good enough", "weren't really offered contracts" the the usual outburst you'd expect from that lot "if they don't want to sign for Rangers, then we don't want them and it their loss".

But for some strange reason, and here it is ...... they've started the rumour that SEBO, yes you read correctly, SEBO is going to sign again, and most of them are delighted.

I think this just about sums up you're typical Rangers fan.

Ed - how about starting a charity page where we can all chip in to pay his transfer fee.

K. {Ed007's Note - Evening K-Dot, well Big Rab is sponsored through our "Help a Bear" campaign by Paddy, so I suppose we could do it on a wider scale. How about just paying us poor Eds for all the hard work we do?}

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Ed - I think you would command a far higher fee than Sebo. {Ed007's Note - I would bl**dy like to think so!!!! :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Your grammar is p*sh, I think that sums up a Celtic fan. Rangers champions again ole ole, how many actual Celtic fans are involved with Celtic and how many successful Rangers fans are involved with us? :D WATP

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you sure they have got this right I heard it was Subo they wanted to hire for the half time entrtainment but she had to knock them back as she had better offers from alleged smaller teams.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha waw there getting desperate down at the dump. sebo couldnt score in a barrel of fa**ies i think i speak for all celtic fans in saying bring back sebo

Agree0 Disagree0

Soz, I've re-read this 5 times to make sure, "your grammar is p*sh". Who's grammar? All the comments make perfect sense you bin-dippin half-wit, all you've got is nasty snidey remarks cos you's couldn't sign a player from a pub team at the minute, half a bag of cheese n onion crisps and a segment of an orange looks like a squeeze for old Whytey eh.

Oh how we laughed at them, you're only decent players are away this summer while they're still worth more than a couple of quid.

Good times - Shaunybhoy {Ed007's Note - Afternoon Shaun, I didn't get that either, in saying that, it wasn't me that posted it, another Ed was covering while I was busy elsewhere. I find slagging peoples grammar and spelling VERY childish and can put people off posting, so as long as your post makes sense don't worry about ridicule over it. That is why I offer people the option of e-mailing me their longer articles and stories. It is easier to use Word etc rather than the Banter/Rumour form for longer things and I will help with it if they wish}

No danger Tony, Zaluska was good with dundee utd, but the step up was too much for him. Big Fraser on the other hand, coped well.As for Gordon, he was excellent before his injury.
paddybhoy

well m8 i hope you get your man ( Forster) i dont understand "Zaluska was good with dundee utd, but the step up was too much for him" he will be playing against the same teams except celtic it should be easier for him only 1 OF team to come up against but when with utd both OF teams

Tonydom

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Tony, loads of players play well with smaller clubs, but just can't cope with the pressure of playing with Celtic or Rangers, Andy Webster is a perfect example.

Hi Ed007 and Tony read your piece tony do you trust this whyte guy and also do you think sally and "Salon boy" ( gordon smith) can work together sally took ages to even aknowledge his presence at ibrox
but ed it looks bad for scottish game when both our supposedly giant clubs are losing out to smaller championship clubs ps there was no animosity on my part i just feel we should "rib" each other without getting nasty eh tony?

to be honest m8 the jury is still out on whyte we will see what he does when the widow opens for real.

as for the players we have lost im not to upset about them they look like squad players and would hate for any of them to take a starting place of some of our young players like wylde, ness, hutton fleck i dont rate but i could be wrong.

as for ally working with smith no i think smith will interfere and undermine ally i hope im wrong because ally has served his apprentiship and deserves a crack at it

Mr whyte needs to be a bit carefull in what he does with rangers look what the small mindless Knuckle dragin element of our support did to Lennon just cause he got up our nose (bombs, bullets etc) these nutters would think nothing of sending Mr whyte a bullet through the barrel of a 9 mm pistol if he caused any real harm to rangers.

as for your comment about losing players to championship clubs and middle table epl i totaly agree as i stated before in one of my posts Celtic were big enough to take liecster manager 11 years ago now Rangers or celtic cant win the signature of an above average player like danns some muppet said happy days i think these are very sad days.

Ed and Tony just heard from a guy I trust that jelavic's agent is making noises about big pay rise otherwise he wants to go to bolton for £40k apparently on table have you heard this rumour? timalloy {Ed007's Note - I said when the Man Utd rumour regarding Jelavic was being thrown around that Bolton were one of the teams interested along with Blackburn and someone else I can't remember at the moment. As is with CFC, I would imagine if a good offer was made then he would be sold, especially if the player isn't on the best of wages at Ibrox and pushes for a move.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I realy dont care who goes m8 as long as we get top dollar for them Jelavic is a very good player but with no disrespect we managed to win the league the two previous seasons without him and Millers goals contributed to last season if bolton wana give us 8/9 million i say take it get miller back for 1 mill and spend the rest making the squad bigger. Rangers have done well without any superstars and to do anything in europe we would need about 15 Jelavics the sad thing is if we lose a player to Sh*te like bolton

If we don't get Fraser Foster, i think Lawell should push the boat out for Craig Gordon. I don't know how much he would cost, but i would make him the top paid player at the club. He is seemingly on big bucks down there, but he could win stuff up here. I would'nt worry too much about his injuries, as he just seems to have had a run of bad luck. If he signs and gets back to his best form, he is a better goalie than Mcgregor, so he is Scotlands no.1 again. The only problem, is his current injury, i dont have too much confidence in saluzka, but i think it's worth the gamble, because Gordon is class.
paddybhoy {Ed007's Note - Good evening Paddy, you had a good day?}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yes ed, can't wait for the seaon to start though, looking forward to dublin as well, apart from the price of the drink.
paddybhoy {Ed007's Note - That is always a problem over there, maybe you will stay sober Paddy :-)

Agree0 Disagree0

Disagree with you there paddybhoy i think Zaluska is a better keeper than big hermen so i do hope you sign him Zaluska was great with Dundee utd and you dont all of a suden become a bad keeper i think he needs a run in the team. as for gordon hes peaked my old grand father always said about footballers ( early to ripe early to ruin)

What a surprise, no new striker in the papers.
Kevbhoy

who needs strikers when you got the big prolific scori ng greek disaster sammy tied up on a long term contract LOL

Tonydom

Believable0 Unbelievable0

There's still enough time for him to become world player of the year lol. I don't think he is a bad footballer though, its his attitude that lets him down so often. You get the impression he doesnt care.
Kevbhoy {Ed007's Note - Evening Kev, how are you this evening?}

Reminds me of daniel cousin for rangers half the time he looked as if he could not be arsed Lol

well im back guys after a self imposed exile for being an arse Timalloy thanks for accepting my apology felt like a complete pri*k last night. and deservely so

but that does not detract from the fact that although we havnt as yet bought anybody i think this is because when we look at the oposition across the city and realise we realy dont need to buy anyone at the moment, i think we will sit back and watch celtic and if they by anyone that poses a threat then we will strenthen but as yet you havnt bought anyone that will enhance the team and the fact that broon is staying is a bonus for rangers lol

Tonydom {Ed007's Note - Welcome back, Tony. Your apology was suffice mate, and like a gentleman Tim accepted it, let that please be an end to any animosity}

Believable0 Unbelievable2

What are you on about ya plonker. Walter and Ally both said at the end of last season you need about 6 or 7 new players. With all the loanees Foster, Weiss, Bartley, Diouf etc etc returning to their parent clubs you have a squad of about 15 players. That's not even enough to fill your subs bench mate Take off your tinted specs and see that Mr Whyte has pulled a fast one but hey ho never mind you could buy a toilet seat or drain pipe from Ibrox when he rips your club apart and sells you off for scrap

PS i'm not saying i want that to happen because i am one of the ones who believe we need both of the old firm to be strong or our league and both clubs fall together but the writings on the wall my friend , adios

Agree0 Disagree0

Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I found it strange that McCoist spoke yesterday about getting the chance to talk to potential targets, yet GS was doing the talking last week while McCoist was on holiday in Portugal. Director of Football is a very grey area and very rarely works, as we CFC fans know from past experience. CFC have signed 2 players from the Championship for next season, who had other offers to stay in England, no one has actually refused to sign for CFC that we know of for definite. Maybe Rangers should wait until deals are in place before going public with transfer targets, only to see the player go elsewhere. There is always the option of meeting the selling clubs value and be prepared to pay wages that they know the player is looking for before talking to the press, something again CFC have learned a harsh lesson with over the years.}

28 Jun 2011 15:32:46
in all fairness do we really need to be signing young prospects for the future or players that can get the job done now.
signing young players is all well and good if we wanna win the league in 3 years but id rather we signed a few quality players now and get back the title that rangers r keeping clean for us
hail hail

Thers a rumour goin round that Celtic are coming down to play a friendly against Forest on July 19th [tuesday night], anybody no if itz true or just BS? {Ed007's Note - There is nothing official as yet, but Rangers are down in Blackpool that night which could prove a problem
........................................................surely we can have a friendly in England at the same time as the darkside without fear of trouble? we need to clean up our act as a support hail hail

{Ed007's Note - That was the reason CFCs friendly at Carlisle was cancelled.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Im not far notts, blackpool is about 135 away , so ther no problems if it is the same night {Ed007's Note - It is because of travel arrangements, routes etc:

I read that Izaguirre said he's turned down United to stay with us. That's a boy, Emilio

Greg

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Rumour is Lenny is chasing O'shea hope he does not offer emilio as swap as Izziguirre is better than o'shea Timalloy {Ed007's Note - I asked that question the other day, IF Izaguirre was leaving would you guys take O'Shea as part of any deal? With Izaguirre saying he is staying do CFC have the type of money to prise O'Shea from the Man Utd/EPL, where he has many admirers?}

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont be stupid, wages would be a stumbling block plus his old mate brucey wants him at sunderland who are a bigger player in the transfer market than the OF put together.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hes not turned you down man u were never interested bigger fish to fry mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey guys lets look back to history how many players say they are not leaving then they are off petrov and cuellar for example.

Tonydom

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed007 I said a few days ago if Celtic were going to pay BIG wages surely it should be for GIVEN and not o'shea
both are probably on £40K+ a week we already have Hinkel and Ljungberg off wage bill ( that alone gives us £40k to play with) yes Given would also cost transfer fee but he would be worth it Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Both Given and O'Shea are on a lot more than 40k a week. Do you think CFC need a GK that is earning the kind of money he is on (remember he is a Man City player and has a contract with them with wages reported to be between £65-90k a week.) As a CFC fan I would love to see Given at Celtic Park, but he would need to take a massive wage cut as we would still have to pay a transfer fee also.}

Like your rocking the transfer market NOT, please you will NOT sign any marquee players in fact you are getting priced out of the market by championship teams, wakey wakey
