Hi
not really a rumour but wondered what everyone felt about Celtics link with stubhub, the ticket agency who sound to me a bit like legal ticket touts.
Can't get a champions League ticket for Celtic Park? No worries, stubhub will sell you one if you have a spare £100 or so!

If people are daft enough to pay £100 for a football match then it's up to them. Celtic arny forcing people to pay these prices.

@1 .No but Celtic are willing enough to give them the tickets that are handed back and let them sell them for over the odds prices . Why couldn't Celtic ticket office sell them themselves . Will they send them all the unsold tickets for home league games . I doubt it as there is no profit to be made for the touts . DH

If they pay Celtic the money for the tickets then I don't have a problem stadium was 15k short against st johnstone so clubs got to make money.

I agree the clubs got to make money, and I'm all for certain prudence, but I don't agree with this. Morally I don't think its right, I'd prefer we gave the tickets away free (that'sassiming that they buy non CL match tickets as part of the deal ) than to parasites / profiteers lie, them. Our CL matches are always sellout - so why do we need them to sell to big game hunters? And if they do take x among of SPL games you can be sure they aren't marketed and are written off - hence big blocks of empty seats that could be full of school kids / oaps or anyone who can't afford a ticket. I worked on the centre court as a service steward opinion Wimbledon many moons ago- rows and Row's of empty corporate hospitality seats- they never turned up or where on the bar (I used to let the grannies /real sport fans in as long as they realised they had to move when Giles / Farquar turned up).

Jumping to conclusions again. Celtic have said that the tickets will be sold at face value. Stubhub charge a 15% handling fee. It's all a commercial enterprise allowing celtic to sell in markets they otherwise wouldn't have access to as easily. It's quite simple. Buy your ticket direct.

Theres only one poster that would get voted to be removed from this site mate, so why not put your name on the list too. given the constant name calling and abuse dished out to posters on here.
Im starting to thing you might be a zombie yourself as I've never seen a Celt with so much dislike for fellow poster with a different opinion from yourself.
This is a great site brought down a level with 1 poster at the minute.

He has a point Kbarry, if anyone dares to criticise St. Neil your knickers go into an almight flap. Kbarry you were calling for the board to be sacked last Tuesday, the board didn't pick the team. We all have different opinions, just like Ian or Iain does, he is entitled to his as you are yours. At the end of the day ED 007 does a fantastic job on this site and the decision who to ban or not to ban will be his and his alone. I must say that when some people call genuine celtic supporters dead club Supporters because they dare to criticise the board, players or NL and his team really yanks my chain. Kbarry, chill and just hope saint JMB can deliver tomorrow!
