Fantastic quote on RTC Twitter:

"RFC are awaiting liquidation. Sevco are like someone who bought a Victoria Cross at an auction and think they earned it."

K-Dot.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

I seen this one...not on twitter though lol.

If I don't tie my shoelaces and fall over them, it will not be a punishment. It will be a consequence of not tying my shoelaces :-) Mrs E

Agree3 Disagree2

K-Dot - by the same token are you suggesting Sevco haven't earned any punishments?

Agree0 Disagree1

The authorities in Scotland have every right to impose conditions on any new club entering the football association. If those conditions look similar to punishments and consequences for an old club facing liquidation so be it. But it's not the same club. It's the cost of getting into sfl3 without accounts.

Just read McCoist and Green's statements on Sevco's website.

Absolutely shocking.

These so called men should hang their heads in shame.

K-Dot.

Believable9 Unbelievable4

Nothing more than an attempt to get Rangers fans onside. I don't remember the last owner they had that didn't take the sh*t out of the fans, why should these 2 clowns be any different lol.

I hope when BDO are appointed next week they declare his purchase of 'the assets' for £5.5m void as it was not in best interest of the creditors :-) Mrs E

Agree7 Disagree1

They are truly off their heads. Sevco showing same arrogance and disregard for Scottish football that got the team, formerly known as Rangers, to this humiliating position in the first place. Who Are These People?!
Liah Smit

Agree8 Disagree2

This is one of the great things Mrs E - there are still many enjoyable episodes to go in this sage.

1. Dual Contract Investigation
2. BDO Investigation
3. Strathclyde Police Investigation
4. Court of Session Enquiry into Duff & Phelps.
5. Low season ticket sales.
6. Failed share issue.
7. Reappearance of Craig Whyte
8. Ticketus making a play.

I'm sure I've forgotten some.

And I still believe that Sevco will suffer an insolvency event before the season ends.

K-Dot.

Agree9 Disagree2

Why are they wanting any investigations 'dropped' if they have nothing to fear or hide ?

If say it is dropped, the 'cheats' label will hang over them forever.

If the SFA & SPL drop any investigation into rule breaking for them, then we can all go out and do it. Its would be a total farce...

They must be hiding something, its the only explanation ! Mrs E

i dont think any signings will be made unless we sell or qualify for champions league, remember we won the league over 4 months ago so we should have had players in place to be signed,i have heard there is less than 40000 season tickets been sold and with the loss of old firm income im afraid we have no cash to spend,we need to fill the ground every week to survive these times remember we we used to average 58000 every home game ,there is nothing worse seing celtic park with thousands of empty seats i just pray the current squad can qualify for champs league we are all desperate for it.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

On CQN i think they said 46k had been sold.Remember these are tough times for a lot of people if the money aint there it aint there. We need to start using our young players anyway..........green jhedi

I see that Duff & Phelps, on the instructions of Charles Green are failing to hand over Oldco's SPL share so as it can been issued to Dundee.

This is being deliberately withheld.

This means that if the share is not handed over before 4th August, Dundee cannot play Kilmarnock in their opening game.

The SPL can only remove the share by force from Oldco from 7th August.

What is it about the Rangers name that attracts such disreputable types to it.

Green must still think there is an outside chance of getting SPL membership. Can't think of any other reason, other than being a total sh1t.

K-Dot.

Believable8 Unbelievable4

The SPL can issue a new share and can expel Rangers from the league.

Agree1 Disagree0

I think it's just a desperate final attempt to try and get the SPL to drop the dual contract punishment.

I'm convinced that when found guilty the only appropriate punishment will be suspension of SFA membership.

They're finished.

Agree4 Disagree2

See ally's at it again, "we were kicked out of spl" not true ally, your club went out of business and were not allowed back in, big difference! Think he's losing it! L1888

Agree4 Disagree0

I suppose he was kicked out lol. No SPL team wanted McCoist as manager ! Mrs E

Agree3 Disagree0

McCoist is Aff his heid. He's quoted as saying they were relegated to div3! Lol guess they picked up the new club name change along the way. And that was only a week after thanking SFL chairmen for letting them into div3. Mad.
He also thinks its the same club as the one D&P manages (badly) into liquidation and demands SPL prize money from last season..... Different club Sallistair.

First time posting, check the page regularly and its a great one although some posts are comical. Rumour has it there will be an announcement from the rankers fc saying they will be taking a year out later today. And whats your thought ed on a price for Ola Toivonen at PSV, cracking player...fear he would be out with our price range. Also if season ticket sales are down then that says to me that Lawell will have to go out and spend a few bob and get some new talent in. That im sure will see an increase in season tickets. {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site. Toivonen would cost a minimum of £6/7 million but you are right, he is a great player.}

Believable2 Unbelievable3

27 Jul 2012 17:20:51
Why do so many Sevco supporters have such an unhealthy obsession with Peter Lawwell.

Many of them seem to think he controls Scottish football.

He has done such a great job for Celtic in comparison to Murray, Whyte and Green.

K-Dot.

Believable8 Unbelievable3

If you want a laugh K-Dot check out leggats blog.This guy started all the nonsense that rangers fans spout about Lawwell.A widely discredited ex reporter that no paper will touch with a bargepole.It can be Hilarious,im sure ed007 will agree!............green jhedi {Ed007's Note - I would recommend his drunken ramblings to anyone needing cheering up. What he lacks in intelligence he makes up for with pure bigoted hatred.}

Agree5 Disagree2

Green Jhedi - yes I've had the pleasure of reading his ridiculous rantings in the past.

Another belter of a read is the vanguard bears website. This has the supremacist, we are the people, triumphalistic approach to it. And the guy who writes it is totally paranoid .......... and yes you've guessed it, Lawwell comes in for all sorts of allegations.

It's a pity none of them could come up with a website to rally Oldco supporters together to oppose the Whyte regime. But of course they just weren't interested.

Look what Celtic supporters done through Celts for Change, and that was when they was no technology as there is today ...... Matt McGlone putting adverts in newspapers etc.

If anything sums up the difference between us and them, then that does.

K-Dot.

Agree6 Disagree1

With a young family I admit I dont get out much but just been Lucky enough to get out for a few beers with two good old friends, gers fans. Two sensible easy going guys but I couldnt believe what I Was hearing:
P Lawell involved
Old tic board falsifying Gates
Wouldnt be sorry to see some SPL teams suffer
Been over punished etc etc
Then come home and see McCoists statement! WTF!
Now wish OUR other pal had made it, anyway I will let him know hes right - there must be parts of these guys bodies that hate him for going to that other school (I didnt go to), cant think if any other reason, hopefully a bad dream, must sleep...

Ed.....can the Shame get away with calling themselves The Rangers FC? Isn't that too close to the old name?

Hail Hail
ChrisBhoy {Ed007's Note - The name etc has all still to be sorted out after liquidation.}

Believable4 Unbelievable2

Actually ed D&P have called a shareholders meeting for the 31st July, at which point they will change the oldco name to RFC 2012. Thus, the old name will become available which will be acquired by Sevco Scotland Ltd.

So. Now we have a temporary licence being granted to sevco to allow a cup game with Brechin. This also allows two trialists to play in the game.I think it's shocking the "punishments and kickings" this club are getting! Why on earth dont the SFA just say here you are,you want your licence sign here, sanctions and all.If not no licence and start your club from scratch. This has shown the SFA up for the spineless wasters they actually are..............green jhedi

Believable11 Unbelievable5

Ah so they got a temporary license. Do you realise what this means? This means a temporary license doesn't do walking away.
And they can play on Brechin's pitch, if it is there waiting for them then it doesn't do walking away either.
They can get a chartered bus there which will mean that the chartered bus doesn't do walking away.
If there is a ball there to kick, it will be because the ball doesn't do walking away.
Naturally if they fall over in the penalty area they can get a penalty because the penalty area doesn't do walking away (far as i know).
You see, Craig Beattie is going for a trial at Sevco, which means "Craig Beattie doesn't do walking away".
I'm getting a bit carried away (cough) with this so i'm going to walk away now because i don't do walking away, could somebody carry me home. TRP.

Agree4 Disagree3

What a farce! If they beat Brechin and put them out then lose their licence next week does that mean Brechin would then need to be reinstated? This is becoming "A Nightmare On Sesame Street" due to the amount of muppets involved.

Jungle Bhoy.

Agree7 Disagree0

On the Button again GJ!
The SFA have behaved in a desperate fashion since the start of this FARCE.
They have been proved:- corrupt, manipulative, spineless and absolutely incompetent in the first degree.
How can any member clubs have any respect for this shower of weak-willies?
The SPL are another muppet-mafia that deserves to be disbanded as well.
Scottish football is a joke run by clowns.
I hope Mr Desmond is still seeking a way out, well away from these ne'er-do-wells'

Are you aware of the influence Celtic and Rangers have had over Scottish football for over a century?
Who do you think holds the most influence now that RFC are in the SFL?
If you are underestimating Mr Lawell's involvement with this scenario you are deluded my friend.
Shared office suites at SFA and SPL and personal friend of Regan, down at London with Doncaster renegotiating SKY deal. Your own chief exec's fingerprints are all over this fiasco.
Perhaps GJ missed these facts purely by accident, when compiling his "on the button" comments.
P.O.B.

I think you,ll find Mr Lawell is the only man capable of sorting the fiasco out.

at pob: Using your twisted logic, then all the years when "rangers people" were in charge they were shafting Celtic? We all know Farry did,so Smith Ogilvie etc were doing it too? And that does not take into account the strange handshaking of so many officials(plenty photo evidence ) for so many years.

Agree2 Disagree3

Twisted Logic? ...Really?
P.O.B.

Agree2 Disagree0

AT pob: good to see you still dont answer questions that dont suit you.To use the fact that lawwell and reagan worked for the same company as some kind of proof of conspiracy is strange.as i said ogilvie and smith would be shafting celtic then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Okay "son of Timalloy" if you say so.
Try reading between the lines in what people are saying mate, you may find an answer from time to time.
On the subject of questions.
Would you agree that CFC/PL are in a stronger or weaker position without RFC?
Your own answer may give you a clue to what i'm getting at.
The simple fact's are that the SPL with the big two onside held all the power,
NOT the SFA!
If the SFA had their way there would have been league reconstruction years ago. Sort of cancels out your point about the influence of C.O. and G.S.

Actually my preference would be for the SFL clubs(30 of us) to tell the SPL to whistle Dixie regarding the SKY deal and negotiate their own TV rights.
Why should the SFL support the SPL especially after the way both RFC and the SFL were hung out to dry by the cowardice of weak willed executives and chairmen.
If their so called sporting integrity stance HAS been attained to everyones satisfaction why are they still pursuing RFC and the media rights of the SFL?

Everyone agreed 3rd division and let's get back to football. Well that has come to pass, everyone including RFC got their wish, so why are we no further forward?
Not interested in the punishment versus
consequence nonsense being spouted,
just doesn't stack up.
Try being objective from both sides of the fence for once.
It seems some will not be totally satisfied until TRFC are gone completely.
How does that pertain to sporting integrity?
Last time i looked this did not include blatant hatred towards and the wish for total extinction of a member club.
P.O.B.

Agree2 Disagree0

At pob; again a rambling load of rubbish with no answers. Are you saying lawwell and reagan are conspiring against rangers(IL)? was this plan hatched when they worked together years ago?

Agree0 Disagree2

Can you read mate?
I would suggest i have answered your question,if you are incapable of realising this then that's your problem not mine.

The press will love this .

Ref: "last I heard nearly 20,00 ST available" POB
Firstly I heard between 40-45000 sold. Also Celtic have to leave seats available for visiting fans, although less needed now Govan mob dead.
So POB, tell me just how many ST have Sevco sold? 10? 20? Also our ED007 and myself and others have asked if you as a "loyal" sevco fan, have bought YOUR season ticket, we all await an answer as per usual with your good self.
How are your team going to manage to pay wages of £7k weekly per player as widely reported. Green does not have this kind of money.
Do you honestly think 45,000 supporters will turn up every week to watch youth players?
Finally, are you one of the fans that took part in the Rangers Media poll
voting on how many times Sevco would beat the "diddy teams" 10-0. ?
Seems "ra peepil" still do not get Humility!

This thing about 'we must buy a target man' baffles me. Why? I would rather have 2 Gary hopper type front players. Jordan Rhodes up front with hooper would rip defences apart. As soon as you go for the target man game so does the Celtic way of playing go out the window as the defence will end up playing long balls all day. And if you ate happy playing that type of football then fair enough but what happens if the target man gets injured? So really you would need to buy 2 Target men! The best football playing teams don't need a target man, and our game should be about pass and move and entertain, not lumping balls in the box. Markiebhoy.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

As i see it if you have wingers/wingbacks crossing balls into the box you need someone who can head it into the net hooper and stokes dont do that we need someone big and powerfull good in the air but also technically good my personal choice would be bianchi from torino
bigD

Agree0 Disagree1

Totally agree, having the Long ball option is too easy to revert too if things arent going our way in a game. So holds back our development and then we find ourself struggling against more technical teams in europe that are operating on a smaller budget than us. I would like to see the approach where a passing system is used regardless and any player from bench or One promoted from youth knows what it is. With at least two seasons ahead where were likely to have a comfortable gap at the top we have an opportunity to start this even if it means dropping more points than usual.
