Malky Bhoy i have thought for a good while LubomirWho is a gullible mate! Guy talks utter nonsense! Mind his tip Ryan Fraser would join us as he played subbuteo with him years ago where Fraser always chose the green and white strips 🤣 LubomirWho take yourself back to the Bear Pit eh!

Was it not lubomirwho who told us to get money on duffy signing long before it happened? I would think the name is due to the fact that nobody had heard of lubo before he signed. don't need to agree with everything he says but calling him a bun is a bit harsh!

26 Sep 2020 18:55:50
Lubos not a hun that’s a bit harsh we all have different views and opinions Iv never like Lennon as a manager others love him a was a fan of Deila Iv got pals that slate me for it but we all want the club to do well.

26 Sep 2020 19:02:46
Fifer, that was me who told youse to get money on Duffy long before anyone heard of it. I also told youse to get money on Christian Atsu, which I believe will happen next week, but I also talk push sometimes 😂.

Ah I stand corrected. Wish I'd listened!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Sep 2020 13:29:02
Fifer, you're correct

It is lubomirwho to reflect the early contempt and sarcasm when he first joined the hoops. and then he ran circles around Dundee and later rangers

And yes, it is all about opinions and rumours. it is a pity others can't deliver their own views and instead, focus on criticising others. empty jerseys.

Said a while ago the only way Broony wouldn't start a game was if he was bed-ridden, so we will have to wait and see? However, with James Forrest injured and Eddy either carrying a knock (or not quite at-it) that would be the most sensible team; over to you NL.

Apart from Taylor that's a gd shout.

There is a feel good factor and fearlessness at sevco

Not the same in the east end

Duffy could have been the catalyst for the feel good factor to return

He's helped but it doesn't go far enough

We need a lift

What will give us that?

A new eddy contract
A decent left sided experienced player

And

Neil lennon upping his game in terms of selections, in game management and his public mutterings

Simples.

Feel good factor. They were screaming for gerrards head after the hibs game 😂.

Most of the above although clearing out the unhappy element could also help moral. Although things may get worse before they get better if, for example we accept a big bid for Eddy and fail to replace with a significant standard of player?
The failure to bring in a natural left sided attacker has made 3-5-2 almost impossible and his rigid loyalty to Broony slows our play and reduces effectiveness of other midfield players; but he can't see it?
There's no doubt we need a lift and I would have liked it before tomorrows game, as Hibs are a more settled, efficient unit than us.

Kev 83 behave

I have yet to meet a sevco fan who doesn't fancy their chances this year and in part, it is because of Celtic's play . and their own

They are improving

Are we?

If we do not get a LWB or a LB for cover it would look amateurish and reflect very badly on NL hammond and lawell.

Quote me on this, Celtic will win the league if we keep our current squad together. A couple more sisgnings will just make it easier.

The reason I say that is our first xi are better and our squad is larger than Rangers.

Rangers are currently playing the best they can and we have not eveN got out of second gear and if we win our game in hand we will be top of the league.

Now factor in the fact there is a reasonable possibility that Kent and/ or Morelos will be sold. If Kent goes they lack creativity and if Morelos goes they lack goals. If neither of them go they will be in financial peril when the season ticket money runs out around xmas.

Let Lubo spout this claptrap that the Rangers are coming. We have been hearing these empty boasts for years and we have won 11/ 11 trophies since they got to the SPFL for the first time in their history.

They are having a record breaking start to their season . we are a bit out of form performance / consistency wise but only 1 point behind with a game in hand. which will I believe settle down once transfer window closes . I see nothing really worrying spl wise.

Love reading all about their feel good factor on their site, especially their celtic posts which brighten up the day. Here's a little example: "25 Sep 2020 14:36:36
Agree clubs in Scotland will be struggling financially Celtic included, wish I was as confident as yourself regarding Rangers financial position.
Season tickets and strip sales very good but similar to last season. Last season at the agm the board said £7m was needed to see out the season.
That was after full house euro qualifying rounds and group stage monies, a good few million, Also another 8k supporters at home games, hospitality and the likes.

This season without this income has to be hurting the club financially maybe more than other clubs with less overheads.

Afternoon all! Don't know if it's been mentioned on here before but does anyone else think that Jack Ross is a future Celtic manager? Very impressed with what he is doing just now even though it is early doors. Hope all is well with everyone! Keep up the good work ED 👍. HH.

Been a bit quiet on the transfer front (both in and out) as we go into our tenth competitive game since the Bolingoli incident, without bringing in the left wide player we are looking for.
That's bad enough, but speculation about up to three players leaving is also hampering us with distracted players not giving 100% and possibly 'suitors' dragging it out, waiting to get a deadline day bargain with last minute bids?
Checking todays gossip pages, Eddy, Ajer and Ntcham are all rumoured to be targets in this 'window'?
Also, I see Charlton now have a new owner so maybe that will affect the Doughty situation; with the club apparently looking at loan options if a final bid is unsuccessful?
Deadline day can't come soon enough for all concerned, so we can try to settle down, with the best players for the right positions - happy to be here - playing as we can; Right?

Believable2 Unbelievable0

It wouldn't surprise me if things still aren't the way we would like them to be in the coming weeks then someone like Martin O'Neil could come in to give Lenny a hand. Lenny was MON's captain so it could be a good partnership getting to the end.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

26 Sep 2020 11:46:07
Can't see it Stengo.
MON rarely attended training sessions when he was our manager and I think that's important in our current predicament. Also I doubt whether Lennon's stubbornness would let him accept that he needs help.
Something very positive has to happen soon or it could be a tough season ahead. Hibs are a decent side this season. If we beat them this weekend then some fans will think there's nothing to worry about. If we lose then the same fans will be screaming for Lennon's blood. For me it doesn't matter what the outcome of the game is, the fact is that we are very disjointed with some players who don't want to be here and a manager who doesn't know how to sort it out. HH.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Sep 2020 12:17:44
And that's part of the problem bestybhoy. Lennon's stubborness can't get in the way of getting the 10. If that can't be sorted then he has to go. If pressure is the problem then it has to be addressed, either by the Board or by Lennon himself (or both) . A shrink has come in and if we're behind then we need to do something proactively to get this team moving again. Slip ups against Hibs and Sevco then it's going be a helluva struggle to get momentum going. I get it that Lennon's a winner, but sometimes winners need a hand to keep the winning streak going.

I think its vital we start playing Ajeti and Eddie together. They are top class and need a chance to develop a partnership. I also don't think there is enough drive in the middle 3 with Brown's legs gone and Nchamp only plays when he feels like it and Calmac is a more technical player. with Brown possibly injured and that in mind my team for Sunday would be all out attack.

26 Sep 2020 13:14:04
To be honest l can see Lennon playing a back 4 against hibs. As has been said we have no real LWB and to play moi there is a big risk. Not the guy to do a lot of defence duty to be honest. As much as l love brown l hope he doesn't start and Turnbull starts. The team needs to start playing with pace and tempo from the start.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Sep 2020 14:25:20
Ter 161. I suppose like myself you have watched Brown for about 10;yrs . From my point of view the MSSM have told me regularly that Brown’s legs have gone and that he isn’t the player of the previous season . However Brown rarely disappoints me .

I have to confess I have seen very little of Turnball, in the flesh and especially not in the last 15 mths due to his injury . According to the same MSSM Turnball is the real thing, but should I believe them, have they Celtic’s interest at heart.
