So the police are blaming celtic players celebrating for the fans getting crushed at the last sevco match, and want to put an end to laps of honour. it clearly has nothing to do with 50% more fans using the Janet street tunnel.

They didn't blame the players for the crush.
They blamed them for inciting the fans of The Rangers.

Either way still stupid. Rangers fans can't behave them selves and celtic get the blame.

The crush was before the game. The Rangers cut our ticket allocation and Celtic reciprocated. Their loyal fans therefore had to be held back after the game (literally) for safety reasons.

When we were celebrating it just got all too much for the travelling Govanites as we serenaded them and had it not been for Strathclydes finest they would have invaded the pitch and got to the Celtic players ironically at the same corner their previous club once did a huddle with not a word said.

Truth is the Govanites came to the Land of the Timites that day smelling blood after our fairly poor start to the season and when they were once again smited, couldn’t handle it. Nothing to do with the Celtic players celebrating. A misrepresentation of the facts by Police Scotland. The bottom line is, if you can’t go and watch your team getting pumped by the club that represents all you despise without losing the plot stay in the house.

But in fairness I would like to express my thanks to Stevie G and his travelling hoards for giving me the best laugh I think I’ve ever had at the end of a game as they were forced to watch our celebrations as a result of there own actions and subsequent reduced ticket allocation.

The players go round and applaud the fans after every home and away games. They can't control their 'Battle Fever' 😂😂

To be fair it’s always the Celtic players fault anytime there is trouble. Manchester, Scottish cup final against Hibs, the 2 fans getting stabbed in Glasgow few months back, fighting with Wigan fans in city centre, attempted attack on Scott brown, LG nearly hit with DD batteries, young boy getting racially abused in a Euro away game and finally their fans running onto park to celebrate a late goeal against Partick thistle. I’m sure there are plenty I’ve left out but Celtic board need to get a grip of our fans for causing all this trouble.

This seems a very similar reaction to the one that followed crowd trouble at Ibrox in 1941 when the decision then was taken to close Celtic Park for a month.

LG’s Buckie bottle yellow card.

Papers today dragging up 1980 cup final and the more ‘recent’ high Dallas coin!

That was 20 years ago!

The fact there was only 800 sevconites and nearly the whole sevco end was mainly tims. the players had every right to go to that end of the ground. the boss was right it's up to the sevco fans to behave . they should be used to getting pumped off us by now.

Anyone seen how the ROI have set up their managers job this time round?
Mick McCarthy for next 2 years and they have already picked his successor in Stephen Kenny.

Watch oot - petition to stop Celtic players celebrating wins at end of sevco pumpings. can't be allowed to annoy them now. They might cause trouble. club statement imminent.
