Griffith's had an up and down career before he got to Celtic, so I wouldn't write somebody off just because he has had a mixed career, he seems to be doing the business now, but I don't think he will be coming here.

Griffiths up and down career still managed to score 100+ goals before he joined us and managed 18 starts 12 goals for wolves just in the league maybe all not in the top leagues but anywhere he goes he scores goals 🤪.

I just read an article sayin that one of our academy products Adams has signed for Man city. I don't know anything about the boy or Morrisson that went to Munich. But it's a sore one to keep loosing promising players. You would think Celtic would be the best place to develop rather than rotting away in City's academy. How do we prevent loosing out after putting in a lot of work with these players?

To be fair the setup in Scotland is pretty dire so he'd be playing more games and against better quality at that age group than he would be up here in the youth system.

Ed, have you any idea (ball park figure) what the guys in our Development Squad are on compared to the top teams in England?

{Ed007's Note - I've really no idea how much our Development Squad players get these days but like all footballing wages it'll be dependant on the clubs and leagues finances. England in general will pay more than us with their average academy wage being £4k - £7k per annum - a lot of clubs including Liverpool, Spurs and Southampton have capped the wages youngsters get at £4k .p.a.}

There has only been 8 winter breaks in Scotland and there seems to be a pattern that helps a treble more achievable.
If Celtic win the Quadruple treble, both ourselves and Rangers will have won 7 trebles each. Amazingly half of those trebles could be won in those 8 winter breaks.
List of winter breaks in Scotland:-
1998/ 99. Rangers Treble
1999/ 00. Rangers Double
2000/ 01. Celtic treble
2001/ 02. Winter break scrapped
2002/ 03 Rangers Treble
2003-2016 Winter break scrapped
2016/ 17 to 2019/ 20. Celtic possible Quadruple Treble.
I looks like it could be a ploy by the Scottish football authorities to make our chances of winning 5 Trebles In A Row, that little bit harder.

Guys the SPFL have also warned that some teams (notice the wording SOME teams) may have to play 4 or more games in an 8 day period.
A spokesperson for the "random, unbiased, computer fixture guy" said "we hope to get round this backlog by scheduling NINE games in a week for Celtic, and two Rangers games in a fortnight to balance things up"

That was totally expected - especially after the reconstruction plot fell on it's arse and as the fellow posters have said, there will be other hurdles and obstacles to stop-the-ten still to come.
However, if The Bhoys go on to win the title it will be make this team Immortal and probably be a 'mortal blow' to another team.

So the girls wanted to surprise me for Fathers Day by buying me a couple of the new Celtic face masks, the money was taken out of their account a week ago but masks NOT COMING until after 21 July, have any other fans had problems with our Celtic Shop taking money for orders then having to wait weeks for goods, not too impressed by Customer service Celtic.

The masks were in the site as a pre order item Tim it days when your buying them they're not available till mid July. There's a guy on twitter selling some belters mate and the seem to be delivered quickly and be if good quality going by the comments and feed back he's getting.

I have the blue throw away ones And I only use them when I am going shopping and I haven't caught C.V. yet. I also work constant nights and we have stringent 2m rule in work and sanitisers everywhere.

@Jaw1888 girls showed me a website selling Celtic, Irish, Boston Celtics, Scottish face masks and others.
Some are crackers all around £9 - £15.
I saw a retro mask with Henrik on it.
