I’ve absolutely no problems with frimpong leaving, the money being mentioned if true is great business for Celtic. I don’t think the lad was a good RB and his final cross in the main was dreadful, but he is raw and has a lot to learn. Obviously lennon wanted to keep him so I can u sweat and Lennons frustration to a degree as Celtic gave the boy a chance and after 16 months he walks away? On the other hand I feel it’s just symptomatic of how things are at the club right now and I do believe these players want out and lennon is a huge factor in that.

I think Frimpong is making the right decision, he has struggled this season and we haven't exactly improved our squad tempting him to stay.
He like most have had a poor season, and I'm sure the lure of playing in the Bundesliga, and probably tripling his wages, was simply too much to turn down. They have good players and ambition, unlike us at the moment.
The price tag is inflated but a great piece of business for us. that's the boards bonus sorted, probably Nick Hammond will get a pay rise, and NL will likely keep his job, and if we are lucky we might get a player on loan 😂🤣.

He got his move here off the back of his own talent and potential which is also what's earned him his move to one of the top teams in one of the world's top leagues. Later in the interview he states it was the summer that others asked to leave.

The unrest and discontent was revealed as far back as August 2020, but may have spread through the squad including the development guys.
Possibly a reflection on the manager and his methods, or just simply a reality check on the SPL and our deterioration in Europe?

For me the more pertinent question is why has it got to the stage that so many want out at the same time? Obviously players move on we all get that but is it me it is it too coincidental so many want out at the same time? I’ve said before on here along with many others, what a job the manager has next season building a team up. How from absolute sheer dominance to where we will be sitting come this summer has been allowed to happen is beyond belief. I think it is very worrying what has been allowed to happen this season and I won't bore you all with the chronological calamities.
Seems the club have thrown it the towel weeks ago and the 9 points dropped in the last three games has all but put the tin hat on it.
So now what? We sell-off as many players as possible for profit and complete the season with what's left for pride and a cup?
Any cash brought in during this last week of the 'window' will ensure bonuses will be secure for the major share holders, when the accounts are audited and the bank manager is appeased.
Personally, I would have much preferred a huge shake-up after the Sevco game and subsequent Dubai disaster showing a statement of intent and proper preparation for next season.
However, I suppose we now wait until the summer and hope lessons have been learned and amends will be made for gross mismanagement.

Just reading that Livingston manager Martindale has passed the SFA fit and proper criteria. In Neil Lennon's much criticised interview last week he accused the SFA of hypocrisy he was correct. Martindale was convicted of drug trafficking, Dave King convicted on 44 charges of tax evasion both passed the fit and proper criteria, Craig White cleared of all charges and was deemed not to fit the criteria and banned from any future roles in Scottish football, Michael Gardyne cleared of any wrongdoing due to insufficient evidence yet Alexander Tonev gets an eleven match ban when there was no clear evidence of what he was alleged to have said to Aberdeen player Logan. Good shout lads, personal fitness inc diet, lifestyle etc should first be the responsibility of any professional athlete.
Having said that, the football club should undoubtedly, in the 21st Century, have fitness standards that the players should be achieving/ working at which should be supported by diet, training, testing etc
This has been standard in France, Spain, Italy etc since the 50's/ 60's.
For Celtic to have players that are unfit (LG is a good example earlier in the season) due to them not working at the correct level, is unacceptable.

Its clear to see that its a major issue under Lennon. Didn't delia say that when he came in. Look at the team are gone after 60 to 65 mins in games. Plus ajeti still not fit and griffs just fit. Just not good enough and also a major cause for a lot of injuries.

Rogers noted the other night how fit his Leicester team is, and how many late goals they score. We used to be like that, absolute opposite now. It's the first thing a new manager will say, guaranteed. I do continue to wonder what the board are actually looking at and seeing.

yeah he is good just now mate he has got himself up and about just now thanks for asking mate its very much appreciated. he is a Clyde fan he went to every match and looked forward to game days that's what helped him a lot now its away he struggles a good bit with out it. thanks for asking phill much appreciated the same with you also mate.

My grandpa spent my whole childhood telling me he was a Clyde fan thinking I didn’t know he was a rangers fan. Some guy he was took me to my 1st ever game when we won league at love st and many more Celtic games after that.
