Watching last weeks match I honestly thought the **** would've been well beaten tonight. It's got me worried now about our match. I was pretty confident of a comfortable win. I hope there's no twist to it.

All good for the coefficient and then pump them in the final.

Braga showed tonight why they are 17 points behind in their domestic league.
Sevco had the best half dozen chances in the game and deserved to progress.
How bad is Kamberi? The guy is a brainless donkey, constantly offside.

Belbhoy I said to my mate during the first half last week I hope we don't rue those missed chances. Then their game was the same, braga should've had the tie wrapped up in the first half at ibrox and they will definitely be cursing the missed chances. I don't really think we have too much to worry about with Copenhagen but better teams won't give us as many clear cut chances.

They're struggling with the volume of matches at the moment so I wasn't that disappointed to see them go thru especially as the next round 1st leg is 3 days before we play them. I'd rather that than they have a free week leading up to that match. They're will be very few if any teams in the last 16 weaker than sevco.

A good result for Scottish football - when we do the same tomorrow that will really start to put our league on the map. These kind of results can be used as a selling point when trying to convince players to join our league.

Not sure we are as big a favourite as the bookies suggest but confident of a result.

Worried? We will win the League by double points as I said at the start of the season. We will be in first gear by the time we play them at their field. Keep the Faith๐Ÿ€.

I enjoy watching the Sevvies getting pumped as much as any of you but fair play to them, they did what they needed to do against the odds. They are a much better side in Europe than they are domestically. HH.

27 Feb 2020 09:48:28
They couldn't beat Aberdeen, Hearts, Kilmarnock and St Johnstone in the last few weeks; so what's all the fuss? Braga are no Lazio.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2020 13:04:46
I want them to do well purely on the coefficient but I don't want them getting further than us as it's something for them to have over us.

Just some thoughts for next season
Worse case we lose Foster, Siminovic,
Ajer, Calmac, Ntcham, Eddy, Hayes and Elynounossi and Brown retires
Best case we all of the above and add
a RB{promote O'Connell} and left sided central defender.

Just a question guys: If you had the choice would you stick with Lenny now that he's here or would you prefer if Rodgers hadn't left? HH.

26 Feb 2020 17:00:34
I've never really been one that thinks like that.
Players and managers come and go that's football. Wont be long till its lennon away and the next guy comes in. Just enjoy them while they are here is my way of thinking.

26 Feb 2020 17:02:35
It would be an added bonus if Lenny took us to 10 In A Row. It would twist the knife.

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2020 17:28:50
I think you will have to take Lenny out in a box, He will take us to the 10 and beyond. He will be a Celtic Legend, he is now, he took us to the first 3 of these titles, finished off a fourth, will now win a fifth, and the 10th will make it 6 titles for him.
He has been player, captain, coach and manager. He is a lifelong supporter of the club, his life and that of his family has been threatened and made hell throughout his years at the club. who was the other guy you were comparing him to?

A would guage it with Rodgers last year to 6 months against what were watching now. make your mind up anno what a prefer watching.

A lot to be said for the hero over staying his welcome and becoming the villain.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Feb 2020 13:09:07
I think Rodgers was found out in the end far too one dimensional and we might've not won the league had he stayed in charge as teams had figured put how to play against us.

ED007 I see Kennedy has talked up a permanent move for Forster, he apparently said "if a deal is to be done, I am pretty sure the Board will try and do something"
Two questions first do you think the club would spend ยฃ10m+ plus big wages on a goalkeeper
Second in your opinion would Fraser be willing to take a pay cut to join us, as I imagine some other EPL clubs would be interested in him also and offer him much more money.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I don't think Southampton will want ยฃ10 million for Forster, maybe to a rival EPL team but they won't ask that from us, he has no future at Southampton and they are desperate to get him off the wagebill.
Forster turns 32 next month so hopefully the lure of playing regularly, winning trophies and playing in Europe is more important than money & fighting relegation to him at this stage of his career. He'll also need to consider that he could easily end up in a similar situation as he's in at Southampton with the way managers come and go down there - the old once bitten twice shy - and because he isn't very good with his feet a lot of managers down south don't rate him, it would be lower level EPL clubs and Championship teams that would be interested in him.}

26 Feb 2020 15:07:13
Cheers ED007 hopefully both Celtic and Forster can agree a deal.

You could argue twice bitten thrice shy. He had similar situation at Newcastle then Southampton., so think he is ours to lose so to speak,

I thought if there was a possibility of him being chucked in he probably would have made an appearance at the weekend Mally.

{Ed007's Note - Going with the pictures from today's training it looks like Brown's fit.

{Ed007's Note - On the subject of tomorrow night this is from Ed002:

{I understand that Liverpool will be represented at Celtic on Thursday to watch Mohammed Daramy of Copenhagen again. When they were watching him in the second team he was playing as a striker but in the first team he has played mainly on the wing. I understand it is not certain he will start. Norwich, Dortmund, RBL and indeed Celtic also have a declared interest in the player.}

26 Feb 2020 13:52:13
Cheers mate saw the pics of broony doing full session here's hoping ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.

does anybody know why the orcs game is the only europa game tonight with all the oters being played in the usual slot of thursday. just wondering.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - UEFA moved Braga's game because Porto are at home tomorrow night and it's only about 30 miles between the 2 stadia.}

Sevco received extra tickets due to the Braga fans having work commitments with it being an early kick off time.
