I remember hearing NL say Kelvin Wilson was a Rolls Royce. Sold him for a profit but my god what a replacement VVD is. Is there anything better than a Rolls Royce for whatever that is VVD is it. What a player this guy is turning out to be. Celtics best player by a country mile and that's saying something. I'm sure he signed on a 4 year contract of make sure it's extended. If he continues to perform like this I'd build the team around him. He can defend he can pass on the deck or ping 50 yard passes accurately. Exactly what celtic needed for a while. Izzy again played ok going forward but defender he isn't. I didn't manage to end my post earlier before pressing send but what has Sammy and Stokes (Stokes today not every time) have to do not to get subbed. Forrest last week made an impact but today did nothing. I thought generally we played well but like my teacher always wrote on my report card must do better. NLs tactics (in inverted commas) are a well worn predictable path there is something far wrong (unbeaten in SPL so far is am achievement but in a poor league). It's plain for all to see that when Sammy plays the pass and move game grinds to a halt. Forrest isn't consistent game changer. So it brings me back to the substitutions Balde on far to late to do anything Forrest did nothing and why didn't he use a third as we needed a second goal to be comfortable. Like against hearts last week. If I were Atajic I'd be asking why he isn't getting a game when NL has tried every forward line we have other than starting him. If NL is trying to put Sammy in the shop window I think he should stop or no one would want to buy him. While NL has been good for CFC he's needing to hand over the mantel.

No matter how I feel about NL, I must give him great credit for this undefeated run - with one of the most average Celtic teams - for many a season.
I really thought that we had turned the corner at Tynecastle recently where we played with flair and slick passing; creating and scoring chance after chance; albeit a very rare footballing display.
But almost immediately afterwards, we are again failing to turn possession into goals and frankly not creating a Hell of a lot in front of goal!
Maybe the injury to Lustig has contributed? Obviously the return of that chancer, Samaras changes our play, but apart from Izzy and Commons, there are hardly any players who can lift a game with skill and ability to open defences and create.
Stokes has done nothing since gaining a contract and the Pukki/Balde signings are a disaster, with little return on our Summer investment?
I fear if the manager is not fully backed and in return, he adds the quality and creativity we lack, Celtic FC will lose what little talent we have when the new season approaches.
I know we are well in front, but honestly, how many fans are enjoying watching Celtic play?

I see where your coming from, but it appears that the other teams watched the murderwell and hertz games and decided to defend even more. I think we are keeping the ball a lot better but there is a spark missing for sure.

I hope celtic put in a bid for billy mckay, a good goalscorer in scotland, stokes, pukki, balde, not getting the goals they should be scoring, come on the hoops offer one million pounds and see what happens.glen 1967.merry christmas and a hoopy new year.

Back to business today would like to see pukki on the bench maybe give big balde a chance today but doubt it if he goes with stokes and pukki up front then it will be another poor show not being able to break down defences again

Am with you AB we'll never no what's he's got to offer by giving him 5 mins here and 3 mins the next game, give him a start tell him to show what he's got it or get him tae F*ck.
Pukki for me links up not bad now and again but any half decent player could do that now and again. A just think on the ball he takes a lifetime to turn or make his mind up what he's gony do.
