In a recent survey, it was found that 1 in 3 Sevco fans were just as thick as the other 2!

It has been the one constant throughout all this.
Sadly the new fans of the new zombie club are equally dense.

EBTs will never be repaid because it was an offshore scam. The players and Directors received the money in their minds as salary and the sums involved were negotiated as salary by agents. Without the EBTs the players would never have signed on. Never a discretionary loan arrangement, who plays football for that?
Also oldco directors giving away shareholders money to an offshore pot so them and their friends could dip into it is surely corrupt and theft of shareholders money? Oldco liquidators must bring the board members who signed off on the EBT trust and signed off on the payments into it to court. It's glorified theft of company cash if it isn't a tax scam.
If the EBT cash was still in rangers they would never have gone bust.

Believable8 Unbelievable4

SDM set it up to be flushed down the S bend and Ally pulled the flush chain.
Blaming Whyte just doesn't square with the facts.
If EBTs were not a corporate salary tax evasion strategy then the fund is a cash giveaway which must be viewed as gross corruption within the Plc as those who set it up gave the payments to themselves for doing nothing. Never to be repaid.

Agree8 Disagree5

Board Directors of a UK Plc put £47million of the companies money into an offshore fund and then help themselves to the cash in that fund. The big boss Chairman reportedly takes £6m from it alone. Surely that's got to be corrupt? Doing this with net profits of the corporation?

a month ago every bear i know wanted mintymoonbeams jailed . now he is a hero again. did you notice from valentines day he was never in the papers , now he's never out of them giving interveiws like they're going out of fashion..

Believable10 Unbelievable4

Mint sauce moonbeams managed Rangers into hopeless indebtedness such that banks were running the club.
He was also running the dubious offshore tax avoidance scheme screwing the tax payer and got a knighthood for it.
The result of the big tax case was 2-1. One eminent member maintains it was illegal and not loans. Many agree with that. {Ed007's Note - Two members of the panel were lawyers, one was an accountant, guess who voted against Rangers....}

Agree8 Disagree2

Ally McCoists failure in Europe forced Whyte's hand to withhold PAYE. The team was hugely expensive each month the payroll was sinking the club. Gordon Smith said so after he left.
SDM HAD GEARED THE CLUB THIS WAY AND OFFLOADED IT FOR £1. AN OVERLY EXPENSIVE LEVIATHON.

Regardless, Green needs £20m to make it work in the fourth div. If it doesn't fold again, it'll need another £20m to get it into SPL in 3 years.

Agree4 Disagree2

So the two guys who have knowledge of the law voted in rangers favour... the guy that deals with numbers with no legal expertise voted against {Ed007's Note - Correct, the two men with no expertise in accountancy what so ever voted for Rangers. The fully qualified accountant was female and voted against them. Remember it was not a criminal trial.}

Agree3 Disagree1

@2..no its all okay again, infact they are looking at new signings as we speak.

They will be reinstated into the SPL, right to the top with extra points. Its all be a big misunderstanding by a big bad bully. Let the overspending commence once more.

The issue should have gone to High Court Judges. Competent in taxation and business law.

Dr Poon is a distinguished Chartered Accountant with a legal background including working with one of the country's leading legal firms, she is a experienced member of the FTT panel, she is a professional judge, hardly someone that doesn't know anything about the legalities of tax and finance as some media outlets and certain fans of a former football team. johnbhoy79

Everyone knows they done wrong, even the Zombie trash that followed the dead club know. The rotten stench of their cheating is still hanging over the game in this great wee country. Surely for the sake of justice HMRC must appeal this decision and keep chasing the cheats. There is an old saying that says "Cheats never prosper" well for the sake of common decency let's hope HMRC believe that to be true. We must NEVER let those that have wronged forget that they are CHEATS, there is no other word for it. They can twist it all and put their own spin on it all they want but they were and will always be remembered as CHEATS! Hopefully the Peter Lawwell led SPL will rightly strip them of the titles they CHEATED their way to.

CHEATS THEN.......CHEATS NOW.......CHEATS FOREVER!

They Died Chasing Lions.

The main thing about all this is that The Rangers fans think the hearing was a guilty or not guilty scenario. I suppose that when your life consists of being jealous of Jeremy Kyle guests or court appearances it's all they know.
Personally I blame the schools.

Well said TDCL. Lets never let them forget the way they have cheated for years.

The treatment of Neil Lennon yesterday was nothing short of disgraceful.

Fellow Celtic fans are quick to praise him when we are doing well yet doubley as quick to berate him after poor performances.

Inverness are minnows and they beat us who are realtive giants compared to them. It happens in football, wasn't that long ago we beat a vastly superior team called Barcelona.

We are Celtic supporterd faithful through and through, remember that and back the team and manager!! Cheeky Bhoy

Believable12 Unbelievable10

I'm 100% behind you Cheeky Bhoy, and behind Lenny.

This man has been threatened, battered, abused and sent UED's, bullets through the post, all due to his love for Celtic FC. Neil Francis Lennon bleeds Celtic and we should be proud to have him as our manager.

Yesterday some "supporters" got on his back and shouted obcenities at the team, he tried to calm them down and they turn on him!

I for one am disgusted with the so called fans behind the dugout, this ain't the first time they have given Lenny and the team pelters for a bad result.

Lenny was the first to say he expected better, but what he won't be doing is embarrass his players or let them suffer the abuse he has suffered throughout the years.

Did these supporters not bask in the glory of the Barcelona game? Helsinki? Helsinborgs? Or in the last ever old firm game? All brought to you by Lenny.

The home perfromances may be awful at times, but were still top of the league, still have a game in hand and were still in with a great chance to get into the last sixteen of the Champions League.

At the start of the european campaign did anyone believe we would definately have europe after christmas?

DazzaBhoy

Agree8 Disagree7

Why was it disgraceful?

We the fans pay to go see our club play in the league. this is the worst start to a season in over 50 years - worse than John barnes and mowbary!

If it wasnt for the lack of a decent challenge and a decent european run then lennon would be on his way put.

How many fans last year wanted him to leave before november saying that he didnt have the tactical awareness to be a celtic manager?

Agree6 Disagree10

So what if it's the worst start in a hundred years. Were still top of the league with a game in hand!

We were 15 points behind the leaders last year and then went on a winning streak that seen us walk away with the Trophy.

In Lenny i trust!

DazzaBhoy

Lenny must stay, these fans have a right to their opinions but there is a time and a place and a proper way of doing it. I am sure they are in the minority.

Lenny is/was never going to leave. Just letting off steam after getting involved in altercation with a supporter (not for 1st time). Probably frustrated & bewildered like the rest of us at the poor home league form. Unlike the rest of us he does have the power to do something about it. We badly need a playmaker to break teams down.

Why is Gary Hooper getting so much stick here?
The service to him is nil. You give him chances and he wins us games. Its not rocket science. The midfield is poor, no creativity. We seem to have 4 Neil Lennons in the middle and not enough Stillian Petrovs.

I feel a lot of the problem is going from being the team defending in Cl to going to the attacking team in SPL seems to be knocking any momentum we are trying to build.
Im not jumping on any sack Lennon bandwaggon as i do expect a run of wins over December and January, but i am concerned, not only with the results but with the product on the park. It really is not worth watching at the minute and thats a worry. The football is brutal.

Come on guys another bad result yesterday i agree and maybe shouldnt be happening. But we still top of the league, staring at last 16 of the champions league and going strong in domestic cup comps. I agree a few of the players look a bit disinterested and sluggish but i tend to believe we are the best supporters in the world so lets forget all the in fighting and back stabbing and get back to parkhead in droves and drive the team on. I for one maybe would allow a run out of a few of the promising yougnsters in the squad in what i term as bread n butter games in the spl etc. Just my opinion of course.

In Lenny we trust
