i have just been reading an article about NL and he never said what was in the back pages of the daily record and after what happend to NL last season he does not need these kind of things printed about him.
this clown of a journalist is rumoured to have been banned from ibrox about two weeks ago.
it looks like he wants to cause trouble just to sell his rag, well here is one old firm fan thats not falling for it and will be saving myself 40p a day from now on. {Ed007's Note - All news papers are designed to grab your attention with sensational headlines. I personally do not read any of them, any news I need to know I get through other means and reliable sources I know and trust.}

Morning Ed, another interesting post re the Daily Ranger.

I foolishly wandered on to their site yesterday to have a gander at this story. Utter mince the lot of it, the only bit that was factual was the bloody match result. And I'm pretty sure they'd have changed that if they could get away with it, LOL.

And don't even get me started with some of the shocking posts they allow on their site, and they're only taken off after people complain? You'd think bein a national newspaper there'd be some commitment to the campaigns to weed out bigotry etc...instead they just pour more fuel on the fire and stand back, then print more stories that they've helped create.

Reminds me of a James Bond film.....without the stunning Teri Hatcher obviously, can't see her moochin round Bridgeton can you?

Shaunybhoy {Ed007's Note - Good morning Shauny}

Hi lads and lassies. I'm a Rangers fan, but have a lot of Celtic fans in my family. I love the banter between the sets of fans, I don't likewhen people take it too serious or become blinkered. Anyway, I think we were lucky to win the league last season, we were both poor at times, but I think when you played well, you played better than when we played well. (I mean in a more entertaining way). I'm a referee with the FA in England. I am Scottish and live in Scotland, but decided it wasn't worth the hassle of reffing in Scotland because people know I am a Rangers fan, but I would never have been biased towards them. As a ref, you can't afford to be. I can't speak for other refs, but I did not want my integrity called into question. I saw poor decisions affecting both sides last season and I don't think it was down to any kind of bias, but moreso a poor standard of refereeing in Scotland in general. Anyway... I think the league will probably go right to the last day again this season, you have a good side, providing you can keep the team together. I hope you don't lose too many of your stars before the transfer window closes, and if you do, I hope you can replace them. I hope my team can build on last season and try to play a more attractive form of football. Good luck in Scotland and in Europe, enjoy the season all. The Ref.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

The team that won the league was the best team last year ..... no ifs no buts

Agree0 Disagree0

That's not in disagreement. But Celtic played a more attractive style of football, more often than we did. I for one would like to see us play in a more adventurous way more often too.

I'm with most of yous on here, wish people would stop talking crap bout kayal and izzy leaving for silly fees. There on long term deals and won't leave until we get top dollar. Just look at Petrov signed a new deal and clubs offered 3-4m at the start and PL was adamant that he want 8m+. Wot did we get then.

Ed, any idea where in paradise the green brigade are this season? Want to get up there soon, hopefully with the in-laws. Wouldn't mind get somewhere near them. Father-in-law is a man utd fan. Want him to see what a real atmosphere is like.
Ben Bhoy 1916 {Ed007's Note - How would I know that ;-) I am sure it is still the same area (111)}

Mark your the one in denial wee man. You lot have the reputation of thuggery etc we have the reputation of bein friendly. My point about the arrests was that if ever there was a time for an example to be made it would have been yesterday. There was a very strong police presence At the game, therefore, if these chants did occur there would certainly have been arrests. Just a fact.
Jamie mac

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Friendly? plane ride from hell in vigo... blackburn... celtic 1 aussie police 114... riot in the stand at tynecastle last season... I*A chants... poppy protests... disrupting minute silences...

but aye friendly supporters

Agree0 Disagree0

Just to be perfectly clear. My lot as you call them, I assume you are referring to Rangers, are not my lot. I am and always have been a Celtic supporter and had until 2 seasons ago a season ticket. I am also willing to admit that I have sung offensive songs in the past, something which I am not proud of. I have now grown up and realise that these songs cause problems for my club, scottish football as a whole and are just wrong. If we as a society do not condemn these songs and continue to bury our heads in the sand we will never rid ourselves of the problem. Decent fans have to stand up for the good of their respective clubs.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the singing at the game yesterday. No arrests, cautions - nothing. A heard nothing a wouldnt sing myself which a did. Thoroughly enjoyed the day out to the capital tbh
jamie mac(not havin it)

Believable2 Unbelievable0

U must have been at a different game from me

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh ah up the ra 1 minute into the game you would sing that then?

F.A.R.E

Agree0 Disagree0

People like you who are in Denial are the reason why neither half of the old firm are ever likely to rid themselves of the moronic idiots who think political and sectarian singing is acceptable. Just cause no1 got arrested doesn't mean It didn't happen.

Mark

Agree0 Disagree0

Well jamie yesterday there was at least 5/6 fellow celtic fans (including myself) on here that saying the songs and chants from the hibs game must stop Are you calling us other supporters liars/ in the wrong? We need to weed out fans like you to say that you were happy to join in the songs on Sunday or that they were not gettin sung IS the problem that we and the blue lot face.

Jamie Mac - not welcome at paradise (or any other fan who backs the singing or turns a blind eye to it)

Ed007 loved your little dig at guy defending Whyte, every now and then you slip one in Hahaha

Loved guy trying to make his point by saying "Whyte has more money than a Bear can sh..e"
Just a thought maybe that is why so few people want to TOUCH his money Timalloy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You must have a really sad life timalloy. You post on this site nearly every hour. Come on get a life. I go on the site twice a day to read the posts and your name pops up at least 30 times a day every day. Do you never get out? Go out and play with your friends for a change. LISBONBHOY.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Lisbonbhoy, No I have a very happy family life thanks, I work shifts and post around that, I am on two weeks holiday just now so have time on my hands, but 30 posts a day that is more than Ed007?
As Ed will tell you i only found site 2 -3 months ago and I enjoy banter with EVERYONE, Hail hail Timalloy Ps insult me anymore I will tell you one of my jokes

Agree0 Disagree0

What do you mean by one of your jokes? they are that old my dad used to tell them when he was at school.

Agree0 Disagree0

Im on this page during work Mon-Fri pretty much everyday. And i gotta be honest over the last month or so Timmalloy you do seem to spend from 9 in the morning to 11 at night pretty much everyday on the gers site and celtic site.... i couldnt care less to be honest what you choose to do is up to you, u are on the sire more than the eds tho it appears :oP

Agree0 Disagree0

No bother timalloy I don't want one of your jokes. I wasn't meaning to insult you sorry. Just a bit of banter. I do recall a post you made to a gers fan yesterday or the day before slagging him for posting when he was on holiday. You are doing the same thing when you are on holiday lol. I must admit i go on the web aswell when I'm on holiday F*CK Paying 3 for a paper when you can read it for free. It doesn't mean your having a crap holiday reading stuff on the internet on your phone by the pool. Go on tell me one of your jokes lol. LISBONBHOY

All the talk about wilson and ki yesterday. Thought loovens and stokes were brilliant if loovens stays fit he can be a great player, or we just got him in the shop window. Even Zaluska did not look as nervous dealt with a few cross balls when he normally palms them in.
As for the chanting i cant remember anyone chanting i*a stokesey da hates the q***n was the chant all day

Believable1 Unbelievable1

Sorry then chief you simply couldnt have been at the game I was in the away end and the songs been sung before the game and in the first half were not good mate unfortunately. Although it did cause a few arguements between the tic fans due to it...maybe thats why it wasnt so bad in the 2nd half?

Agree0 Disagree0

Afternoon Ed, hope you're well today.

Nowt to do with the singing, but were you actually watchin the game? Loovens is an accident waiting to happen, he can't pass 20 yds in a straight line to Big Kelvo? Thought everyone else did ok, nowt spesh but for the first game we looked more solid than the shower from across town so it'll do.

I hear on the grapevine that Ally is stayin in tonight to watch "CATCH ME IF YOU CAN", as he's hoping for some tips, truly clueless.

Shaunybhoy {Ed007's Note - Afternoon Shauny, I actually thought Glenda had a half decent game going by his usual low standards.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought he looked ok too Ed but his simple passes to Kelvo were anything but simple, one went nearly 10 yds behind him. The original post said "great player", sorry don't like disagreeing with fellow Hoops but no f@ckin way will he ever be great.

Shaunybhoy {Ed007's Note - It's not a description I would use about him either}

Agree0 Disagree0

Its good that people are standing up to it. Everybody is entitled to their beliefs etc but I dont see why they cant just sing about celtic when they are at a celtic game, theres more than enough songs.

a Hibee here, well done to celts yesterday 2nd half u played some nice stuff. wasnt a lot of open play or clear chances tho to be honest.

Needs to be said tho that again there was some fairly strong I*A chants comin from your stands particularly in the first half. Nothing seemed to be done about it was no more than 40 m away and no stewards ttok action, however when i asked a steward from my end of the stadium he said it was up to the stewards in his section and the police. So a blind eye is still being turned. {Ed007's Note - My only advice to you would be to get in contact with your own club over this, although I disagree with such songs being sung it, yesterday it was up to Hibs and the police to stop it, so if you contact Hibs and report the incident and the steward you spoke to they should be able to help. Please let me know how you get on with it.}

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Yeah i will do this, never got any details from the steward but im sure the club could sort it by area i was in and also they should obv know the stewads in the celtic end. I cant imagine my club would take a letter from a normal fan too seriously tho and will perform a sweep under the rug "thank you for alerting us action will be taken yada yada."

Sick of this tho I want to be able to bring the young'en to the games but he is only 5 and i dont want him being forced to listen to outdated stupidity at that age he is far too impressionable and people should be ashamed to sing chants like this at public arrangements. My son doesnt want to be FORCED into hearing ANY teams, sorry fans political or religious beliefs. Our generations futures deserve better. Has the football got that bad that teams fans must resort to singing songs like these at games ? FOOTBALL SHOULD BE FOR FOOTBALL FANS.

cheers ed,
Saucy Sauzee

Agree0 Disagree0

I as a Celtic Supporter would like to say to the morons who seem to think that singing these songs is in some way a reflection on their feelings for the club and an acceptable way to represent our supporters. Its not and never has been, supporting Celtic football Club is not a platform to air political or religious views and in no way benefits our club. People like this have no place in football and in my opinion no place in modern society. Its up to our real fans to weed out this poisonous element from the support before their behaviour tarnishes our good name. We have no right to claim to be the best supporters in the world as long as this element still exists. Its time to stand up to these morons.

Mark

Agree0 Disagree0

Morning Ed007 in fairness Kevbhoy and Miko condemned these idiots last night but luckily it was only at start of game and then it died out. But come on Bhoys the laptop loyal are itching to denegrate us dont give them any excuse, our range of songs and chants is bigger than these stupid ones. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Morning Tim.}

Agree0 Disagree0

If u must know im a rangers. fan and as everybody knows we have these idiots aswell only takes a few mindless bigots to drag down both teams. both sets of supporters really do need to self police mark.

Agree0 Disagree0

Why are fans so easily offended nowadays, ive sang rebel songs at parkhead for years, are these songs anymore offensive than shouting at a player that they are a fat bass, b**ck bass or a lazy bass?footballs already turning into a middle class sport as it is, strawberries anyone? {Ed007's Note - Calling anyone a "black" anything is totally unacceptable and is actually illegal. It is called racism and it, along with sectarianism, has no place in modern society, never mind inside a football stadium. I seriously doubt that you have sang "rebel" songs for years at Parkhead as it is more of a problem at away games than home games. I think you need to take a long hard look at yourself, football is not becoming a middle class sport, it is just moving with the times, which sadly you do not seem to be capable of.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Ed007 sadly another guy who posts rubbish and does not leave a name, all decent fans both Celtic and Rangers are trying to rid their clubs of these morons. As i keep saying we have plenty of songs to sing without this rubbish Timalloy

Sorry this is not a rumour but I would just like to point out that the Daily Ranger has a more aggressive attitude towards NL this season . False reporting again on the back page along with a photo of him snarling .
Fat Sally put the reporter of BBC out of press conference and there is not a mention .
I for 1 will never buy this rag again
CelticMatt

Believable4 Unbelievable0

The bbc never mentioned it cos they know why they were booted out and dont wanna be recognised for it ... they edited a piece of film with Mccoist regarding old firm trouble. Sky and STV showed the unedited version and BBC got their a$$es handed to them. Happens all the times w**ks they are... Both ways how many times will Commons or Lennon, Ally or Naismith get interviewed on tv or radio then you see the headlines the next day.

I remember one after a game at end of season with Naismith. Q "so do u think it puts extra pressure on Celtic with all gers games before they play". Nasiy A " well that will only count if we win the games, of course if we our games the day before celtic it puts extra pressure on them to win"

Papers headlines .......
"Naismith: Pressure is all on celtic to bottle it"

word for word it aint right but its pretty much what they done exact same spins happened with celtic, those who take papers as gospel need to have a word with themselves

right guys im back

was at game on Saturday and let me tell u i was not overly impressed to say the least. Ortiz needs to improve 100% the boy wylde is far better. team looked a bit better the second half first half we were 5hite. thats not taking anything away from hearts and i think they will run the OF close this season (we at least the first half).

watched your game yesterday was very impressed with the boy Kelvin Wilson and your man Ki (thinks thats his name)but on the bright side Izzy appears to have started this season the way he ended last and as soon as Brown has served his ban Lennon will prob drop Ki and play his love child brown.

all in all well done yesterday. first few games of the season tends to be tricky lets hope you dont go on a run lol

the scumbos take a point from castle greyskull and all of a sudden there deluded fans think they can win the league when just like every other season mad vlad will get involved in team selection and the bottle will go crashing (probably dont need mad vlad for bottle to go) and they will still end up 20 points plus behind us and the forces of darkness
