Guys i told you earlier that i work at celtic park and nothin had happened. .well just as i was leaving tonight a large audi jeep pulled up and someone was hurried in through the front door, but i am not gonna speculate on who it was

it was me lol, well certainly wasnt robbie keane as was in squad tonight so much awww he won't be in squad. come on guys i for one would love it but aint going to happen, lets be releastic eh?

Exactly and with mccourt coming off the bench last week would make eagles further down the peking order, btw he won't come he signed a new contract today. No more midfielders a striker and a defender but im already happy with the team we have got.

Why do people keep quoting odds from bookies are use that thick, c'mon guys use for real. bookies odds, all odds mean is people are beating on a player joining a club, that means nothing. not one thing lads. that's like celtic are 2/1 to win tommorow and eturetch are 5/1 so that means celtic will win lol. bookies don't know nothing except put a bet on that you ask them? christ get a grip so stop quoting odds means nothings?

p.s celtic will win tomorrow nite though, mon the hoops

For al these people on about keane to celtic, as if, im a hoops fan and woulld love it, but his wages to high, and he not going to take a wage cut, ok transfer we can afford, but wages to no, same as all these rumours about given, why the hell are we going to bring in given when just got forster come on lads, and for those on about keane left out because joining us, well if use knew anything, as you are so in the know as use say so often NOT LMAO, why the hell don't you know he had a knock, and that is why he is on bench? . not because joining celtic, but because he has a KNOCK?. at least try and be releastic eh lads?. not going to happen.

Eh mate have you looked at some of the names bein thrown around on the ceptic pages. Difference is its the ceptic management who start most these rumours to sell season tickets coz you all jumped ship after last season.

To the chill pill fella. Totally agree. I call the blue lot ORCS and their home is and always will be MORDOR. Even down here in Bradford, I have suffered from sectarian abuse, this after an hour talking to a bloke, getting on, until he realised I was a Tim. Keep racism and sectarianism out of the game. I don't hate brits or protestants. I hate Orcs. The team and their followers. But once the game is over, if they're willing to get along with me, then I'm more than happy to chill with them.

Quick response - to help try and put this particular "flaming" thread to bed.

(1) I don't condone the use of any derogatory terms by either set of supporters "Currant Buns, Knuckledraggers, Silly Billys, and acouple of occasions DOB's" all of which to be condemned without reservation. Do you condemn the equivalent terms used for Celtic fans?
(2) Where does "Dozy Declans" come from, or is the latest pseudonym for calling all Celtic fans Irish Catholics? Be clever about it and find fun nick names for other sets of supporters that don't have unsubtle racial overtones. Or did you not see anything wrong with the singing of the famine song?
(3) Should I ask you for definitive information on all future transfer dealings? I used a source, I named it and I qualified it. If you want to challenge the source do it but address the whole question.
(4) I'm finding the constant references to Keane, Given etc a bit tedious, especially when statements made that supposedly indicate that players are in talks. If Celtic had signed all of the "definite" rumours we would have a squad of around 100 players, but I don't doubt similar stories abound on other teams rumour/banter sites.

How interesting our friends from the dark side spend so much time looking at Celtic pages.The comparisons I put on earlier were intended for a broad brush comparison of spending and receipts. Ultimately not all cash goes out or in in the one go, but by the same token that would be true of other transfers made in previous seasons, of which no-one outwith the player, clubs and agents are aware of the specific details.

Also please note that the derogatory and (I would suggest) racially motivated terms used by some posters need more careful vetting. I don't condone it by supporters of any persuasion, but why people find it necessary to do it says more about the individual posting than anything else.

Let's have banter and keep it banter and fun.

Why people saying given to celtic use mad, we just signed a keeper today on loan, we aint going to sign another keeper, as we will have 4 keepers in first team, come on guys, aint going to happen now?

four first team goalkeepers what celtic team are you supporting . . . celtic have 3 goalkeepers and cervi has made 3appereances for celtic so you can hardly call that first team you are obviously a rangers supporter stick to your page and we will stick to ours

oh and ed i read a couple of articles on newsnow:celtic that we are trying to loan italian international keeper marchetti with an option to buy next seaosn for 5million is there anything in this or is it just paper talk?
