Exactly rangers one hit wonders. Exactly as I thought they would be. They will never be on the same place as the Celts.
Celtic had a terrible year this year and all I heard from rangers fans was Celtic done great over the years because rangers where not there. So that shuts down that argument. To win a cup you have to be great wether the rangers are there or not rangers can't do that Celtic where not at the races this year and rangers still can't win a cup.

Let them say what they want as they are deluded and there is no changing that.

At the end of the day, we know how monumental our 9 in a row and quadruple treble were. When people look back on the history books they will see an utterly dominant period for the most successful Scottish club still in existence.

Agree1 Disagree0

8 cups in a row among 12 trophies. Celts beat hearts in an epic final for quad treble what’s Hugh Ks result of the weekend? Hamilton accies win at Ross county or wherever Our shug tells us he can’t see rangers losing ever this season can’t even see teams scoring a goal against rangers and he is going to sit down and think how far rangers can go in Europe this season well a suppose that was a few months back now this week he has James Tavernier a serial winner. Rangers peaked around December how close would Celts be with 50% improvement how close will it be next year when we get a really good gk a couple of fbs a good addition to mf a couple of good defenders cfs that will give all and want 100% to play for CFC and maybe a couple of wingers. Major rebuilding should have started in BR second season. He wanted McGinn he had two fbs now epl players he wanted to sign he new about Ivan Toney. and who else and what other ideas did he have scoffed by PL. And he would have signed a top gk. We will be ok for another year. big mistake PL and board.

Awrite bhoys, we've covered similar posts to this but was wondering how many of the current squad you guys would build team around, similar article just posted online but I genuinely thought these players before I read it

Jullien
McGregor
Soro
Turnbull
Jamesy F
Super Leigh (if head is right and used as a partner upfront for a new signing) I know this one will be contentious

Just my opinion lads, don't be too harsh, look forward to seeing your differing opinions. HH.

Why Julien and Griffiths. Again what has Taylor ever done wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 20:52:01
I would keep Bain as our number 2 and loan out Hazard.
I would also keep Taylor, Welsh, Turnbull, Soro, Forrest and I would try and buy Moi.
I can’t see players like Ajer signing new contracts.
A Major rebuilding process which could turn out to be a good thing.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 21:00:27
I'd tend to agree Buzz other than Bain. I think we should aim for a better No.2 who could really push the first choice keeper, whoever that may be.

Agree2 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 21:00:37
I don’t think Moi’s justified the 6m price tag Buzz. Not consistent enough for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 21:01:32
jonace, I agree 100%. Taylor was destroyed by a lot of the forum members even before he had kicked a ball because of his supposed Sevco connections, He hasn't done too much wrong to support the abuse he got but the haters just keep on hating. He's dedicated enough for me to warrant sticking with the lad.
Jullien, in my opinion, should be punted. He's another member of the French moody feckers and he can't take it when he's challenged by a strong and burly centre forward. He doesn't deserve to be at our club.
I've always said that a mentally fit Griff is the best striker we have. No question. He's a challenge and that makes him unpredictable but if it were up to me I'd keep him for another season as he is super hot when he's on fire and a new manager (a good one) might just inspire him to get his head straight. HH.

Julien should be sold, if a buyer can be found, Taylor, McGregor, Soro, Turnbull, Welsh, Forrest, Griffiths, should be the mainstays of the team next season, Édouard should be encouraged to stay, Elynoussi, Duffy should be sent back, Rogic should be sold,

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 21:53:52
I would keep for team/ squad
Barkas
Bain
Taylor
Welsh
McGregor
Soro
Johnstone
Turnbull
Forrest

I wouldn't keep any of the loan players and would try and talk ajer into staying and I've no included any young boys ie karamoko/ Robertson as there no first team players at the moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Apr 2021 05:27:45
Aindoh eddy has been a joke this season and has downed tools months ago. The sooner he goes the better. He has no interest in being at celtic.

Agree1 Disagree0

26 Apr 2021 08:07:32
Why jullien and Leigh jonace? Well because I personally think both on top form would be good enough for a very good Celtic 11, I’m not saying that they have been exceptional but that they have the ability to be, I would keep Taylor as a back up LB but wouldn’t build team around him like my post said, I’m pretty sure there’s a LB out there closer to KTs quality although I accept not as good . congratulations st Johnstone.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Apr 2021 08:11:45
Bestybhoy “French moody feckers” had a good laugh at that 🤣🤣.

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Apr 2021 08:22:08
I’d be keeping

Bain as no.2. Good experience

Welsh
Taylor. I really think he’ll push on next season

McGregor
Turnbull
Soro
Forrest

I think Moi could be a top player in the right system.

Jullian is far too soft for the size of him
I can’t see a way back for Barkas
I can’t see Johnstone ever being good enough.

A fit and motivated Griffiths is a real asset, but at what point is enough chances enough.

Edouard’s attitude has been a disgrace all season. Sooner he’s gone the better.

As much as I would like Ajer to sign a contract extension I can’t see it

Hail hail.

With no game on today who would people like to see us realistically sign for next seasons rebuild? Possible we could go mainly down the British route for signings this summer particularly if Howe takes over.

For me Ben Davies (Liverpool) could be an option again.

Issac Mbeza (Huddersfield) on a free looks a decent player and give Forrest competition he's been needing as well as back up when he's injured.

Clark-Harris (Peterborough) is on fire and would be a good replacement for Griffiths/ Klimala.

Might be out of our price range but Michael Olise (Reading)

He's a No9 DRB 30 goals and 3 assists in 45 games this season. Looks an accomplished box striker. Mbenza can play on LW too and looks a cracking player Belgian U21 if you get bored check them out on YouTube when you have some spare time.

Brave for me Davies had his chance for a move to Celtic and turned it down for a shot at Liverpool, he must have been the only one in world football that believed he'd get a chance there, say he does sign for Celtic, he has a good season then a EPL club come calling, does he jump ship straight away for another crack at the league? I'd imagine he'd want to move, so for me he's a definite no chance as like i said he has his chance and turned us down to TRAIN with Liverpool. The other ones couldn't comment as i don't watch any English football, will catch the odd game but that is very rare.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 23:50:57
Fair comment SW but if we can make a decent profit off him in one season then it's good business.

Always thought that when you appealed a sanction and lost that the punishment was greater, ie instead of 2 games suspended it was the full 6 game ban kicked in.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

25 Apr 2021 09:39:38
ban kicks in and tav is back fit right on time but its a conspiracy same as hugh dallas and his anti catholic emails its all a big conspiracy. they know how they achieved a lot of success through rigging the system to help them out. only in Scotland were there cheating and financial doping and racist agenda is out in the open and its ignored and media say nothing also.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 10:57:10
When I read the complete A to Z of Scottish Football Scandal and Corruption, I didn’t realise Neil Lennon got an initial 8 game ban for his part at the end of the shame game in 2011. ( reduced to 4 games with the help from the late Paul McConville ) .
McCoist Didn’t receive any ban after his argument with Lenny.
Also the 2 red cards the Rangers players received, got rescinded.
So basically Lenny was the only person who received a punishment for the shame game.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 11:40:53
spot on buzz that's when bougherra was pulling the refs hand down when he was showing the card and it gets rescinded. even though we lost out on title this season its disappointing. but look at our success and be proud of it as we achieved it wile swimming against the tide in this country as is says on the podcast what would our success be like if it was a level playing field in this country.

the sevies look upon there tainted success with pride being proud of a lie that was achieved with rigging a system and financial doping to gain that success a lot of them know full well it goes on but are happy to get one over on us by any means.

our success has been gained through being a great football team wile playing in a loyalist ran country something they like to remind us of.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Apr 2021 11:59:53
It's so blatantly obvious UI, you couldn't make it up but as you rightly say, look what we've achieved despite the country we live in.

These regular infringements and breaking of rules to suit one club in particular is a National embarrassment, made all the more sinister, by the silence of so many rival clubs and their support. While the Establishment and people in authority or power strive to keep the status quo and cover up hypocrisy, dishonesty and fuel sectarianism.

25 Apr 2021 15:37:20
Hi Buzz hope you are all well all well here Pat had his gallbladder removed he’s doing ok. Regarding McCoist he did receive a ban only for it to be rescinded on appeal. When Craig Brown was manager at Aberdeen he was confronted by John Boyle at the end of the match who whispered something in Brown’s ear who retaliated by striking Boyle, he was given a warning no ban because he was severely provoked wasn’t Lennon provoked by sneaky, corrupt right enough.

Its doing everyone's head in this. But if its true howe is on some sort of gardening leave from Bournemouth where his wages still being paid. I noticed Neil Lennon and Walter Smith both had similar records in their time at Celtic and Rangers.
Both won 10 titles and 11 domestic cups each.
Neil won more Scottish Cups and Walter won more League cups.
Both also reached a UEFA Cup Final, Neil as a player and Walter as the manager.
Walter Smith was at Dundee Utd when they reached the UEFA cup final in 1987 but he had moved upstairs the previous year to become a director of the club.
I was sad to read that Walter Smith hasn't been keeping well and I'm sure the Celtic fans will keep him in their thoughts and prayers.
Walter Smith was close to Tommy Burns and he had Tommy on his Scotland coaching staff.
The Celtic fans will always respect Walter Smith and Ally McCoist for helping to carry the coffin of Tommy Burns after his sad passing in 2008.
It would've been Tommy's last wish to try and bring the supporters of both clubs closer together.
Tommy Burns would wake up every morning and look at himself in the mirror and say,
"Take the time to be the best man I can be today"
That's wise words from a great man and a lesson everyone should follow, on a daily basis.

Had he not left Scotland to go back to Rangers Scotland would've qualified for a lot more tournaments under Walter. I'm sure he got Scotland to their highest ever ranking of something like 13th in the world (correct me if I'm wrong) which was only a few behind England at the time.

I’m sorry if I’m offending anyone with this I have absolutely no time time for Walter Smith who was part of the EBT years, I remember him saying after a rangers goal was disallowed at Motherwell by a linesman called Murphy, why is someone with that name officiating a rangers game . Mr Murphy was in fact one of their own yes he carried TBs coffin he was hardly going to say no.
