Is Boli on loan to IBFK or was it a permanent deal. Makes me sick watching him playing in the champions league tonight against Manchester United. What a self act he did to Celtic fc.

He is on loan,

All the signs coming from Celtic park is Lennon is staying. With that being said do people think that if Lennon is staying maybe he should have his own team around ie Parker and mallby. People who he trusts and is good friends with. Just a thought as for me both Kennedy and strachan don't seem to offer anything at the min. And there seem to be no interaction between them during games.

I will always remember Davis was in Rogers ear no stop.

I know it's just a thought as at this stage anything to get us going. Just for the record l think he should be gone.

My worry is Lennon is undoing all the great work of Deila and Rodgers. I remember being very impressed reading an interview with Davies and how they prepare for each game. Davies thoroughly looks at each opposition team. Do we still have that level of attention to detail and analysis?

Great work of Deila?, another of the hopelessly deluded raises his head, I am eternally grateful that Ronnie, praise him, praise him, isn't in charge at the minute, with his team team selections and his team tactics, he would make Lenny look like the best manager in the world .

Aindoh Delia reinvented the sports science side of the club while he was here. The rat commented in how impressed he was with the setup. Guaranteed NL has let the standards slip. Ronny was out of his depth but so is NL.

Just read something said by Kelvin Wilson about Lennon. Says never did they do any training on shape, never. Said training was all drills and fitness. Also said they watched videos on the opposition for 15-20min tops nothing done on the pitch just while they was eating. Hopefully it isn't like that now but it would explain why the shape of the team is all over the place now.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

24 Nov 2020 20:36:23
Probably is the same. Would explain why our fitness levels are way down and why we have no shape. Would you concentrate on video while eat very unlikely.

24 Nov 2020 20:54:23
Depends on what the video is.

I was listening to the Celtic game on radio, when Celtic were playing St Johnstone at the beginning of October, and the commentators were saying that Celtic players looked tired and they still had 30 minutes to play.

Agree1 Disagree0

25 Nov 2020 00:17:18
Well that explains it, watching videos when they are eating, they are probably not digesting their food properly, what was the name of that madcap Aberdeen manager, who thought the first teams problem was that they were all constipated and he took them off to Portugal to release their inner self.

Really what a load of garbage they do analysis while having their lunch. The teams going through a slump plain and simple there's C.V. no support. Frimpong Ajeti and Ntcham shouldn't be in the starting 11 unless we have Injuries we need a proper right back I don't know if Turnbull could do a job in there but Frimpong has cost us especially against Rangers and Europa league

I have 3 season tickets in my wallet burning a hole on my back side frustrating but I really think we need to stick with the Gaffer and the team we are going for 12 trophys in a row and 10 leagues but there's a segment of our support histerical tims are tough Bhoys fs.

24 Nov 2020 20:09:36
Despite everything (and that's a long list) I agree we can still win this league as there's plenty of games left.
I also think we'll need help as I'd expect us to drop points between now and the end of the season.
The board IMO have done the fans a massive disservice, we should have been out of sight for 15-in-a-row, let alone having to make a coneback for 10.!
Whatever happens this season it should be Lennon and his coaching staffs last at CFC as that will no doubt be the case for several of the 'superstars' in that dressing room, good riddance.
God Bless Glasgow Celtic.

I am really struggling to match your optimism as we can't win two games on the trot these days, plus leaking goals every week wuth the first choice 'keeper dropped and no settled formation; especially back-line or strike partnership, helping consistency or confidence.
The 11 point gap is attainable if we win all our games and they drop points, however, our showing in consecutive head-to-head games have a pattern about them that shows they no longer fear us home or away.
Obviously we hope for the best, but we have been doing that for months now and hope has a short shelf life in football.

"Football without fans is nothing". A famous quote attributed to legendary Celtic manager Jock Stein.

Man Utd had a banner attributing that comment to Matt Busby.

Jock did indeed say "Football without fans is nothing. "
Matt supposedly said "Football is nothing without fans" and that is what was on the banner at Old Trafford but Big Joke said it first.

Ach well one was from Bellshill and the other from Blantyre I don’t think they would have argued about it. Shankly was just down the road and then there’s Alex Ferguson another man who has never forgot where he came from. He was disgusted at the treatment his team got at the Bronx. Not a bad few Scottish managers there eh? Now think about central defenders McNeil, McLeish, , Millar, Narey, Hegarty. I’ve probably missed dozens out and started a war. What the feck happened?

OK bhoys/ ghirls I think it is time to stay positive and keep backing our team.
Yes I know results and performances have been disappointing but I think there are mitigating circumstances that have aligned against the whole team.
All this CV stuff has knocked Celtic for 6 and it began with that clown Bolingoli which caused us to miss games and started the malaise. From then on we were playing catch up and never really recovered, add on the poor form of French Eddy and others and injuries at different times and it has been stop start.
Yes Lennon has made some very poor decisions and MUST be held accountable but so must the players, even if rumours are true of players not liking the manager's methods surely their OWN PRIDE should kick in.
Our luck has been all bad luck, coupled with unbelievable good luck from Sevco, but surely over a season they are due their share of bad luck and then see how they cope.
In the meantime let us give the bhoys 100% support
COYBIG.

Some good points Tim but lenny picks the team and formation our defence is awful we even lost a goal to Hamilton why didn't he get a rb tgat can defend he clearly doesn't trust elhamed we are short on wingers why didn't he get one. duffy is a strange one I fancied him big time but it hasn't worked. he also rotates too much there's never a settled 11.he needs to get them fitter as well we look tired and it's nov.

Agree4 Disagree0

24 Nov 2020 12:59:53
What is the unbelievable good luck Sevco have had? There's staying positive and then there's nonsense. They've dominated every single match they have played this season they have not had to rely on last minute late goals like we have.

If Lennon has the same attitude you are displaying we will lose the league by 20+ points, you sound like one of the SSB callers hoping the sky will fall across the city rather than address our failings ourselves.

24 Nov 2020 13:01:28
Hi tim mate hope you and the family are all well. we have one major problem and its neil lennon, because neil does not think there is a problem and there lies our downfall. change needs to happen now or we will lose 10iar and i will never forgive the manager and board.

We have 2 problems that can be sorted out by firing Lennon out a cannon.

We have conceded 24 goals in 21 games, maybe Buzz can give us a total of how many goals we conceded last year? That's our first problem.

The players clearly do not want 10 as much as us, guys like Calmac and Broonie are serial winners with a winning attitude and because of our defence their form has dropped too.

Agree3 Disagree0

24 Nov 2020 14:05:57
Look there's no doubt sevco have been very lucky with c. v the facts are there almost none and no 1st team players who matter have missed games. but they are playing we have a system tgat works and a settled team. unlike us who are all over the place k e minute it's a 3 then it's a 4 then he gas abot 4 strikers on because we end up chasing the game and he panics. ge needs to settle the club down and show faith in his vest 11 for a good few games till we find form stop the chopping and changing it ain't working clearly.

Agree3 Disagree0

24 Nov 2020 14:33:44
I totally agree with Lennon chopping and changing players, I am old enough to remember Jock Stein who NEVER chopped and changed then Martin O. Neill and recently Rodgers played their settled teams in every game, but Lennon has been unlucky with CV, injuries, tired players after internationals etc so I am prepared to cut him some slack.
Some sevvie on here said "what good luck have they had" well teams they were due to play Celtic, Aberdeen, the Dutch side and others all had a host of players missing, so far Sevco are untouched but this cannot continue their good luck will end soon and then you will hear their bleating day by day wanting their games postponed yet insisted on other teams playing their fixtures with missing players.

We can't win everything all the time, can accept defeats if playing well, but too many displays have been well below par and that is unacceptable, by the way under 21 game v thistle on YouTube at moment,

They also carry a lot of luck in games with penalties, deflections and even sending off's ( Benfica) .

Lads they’re not lucky their just better this year, they are improving and we’re regressing. If it doesn’t get sorted now then losing ten in a row is just the start. Remember that Scotland are climbing the rankings and maybe next year the champions go straight into the groups. It could flip the situation on its head.

Agree4 Disagree0

24 Nov 2020 15:49:06
I agree about chopping and changing but we have had such a time of it we have not had a chance to get a winning settled team together for any period. The Internationals (love it that we qualified) have disrupted any momentum we tried to build. Add the C.V. capers and the injuries and we have been a disjointed group.
When you add that to players who are just not showing any spirit then we have what we have. Lenny can't be all bad when you look at the number of trophies he has won with us.

I beg to differ Aribo probably 1 of their best players was out for majority of the season. Davis, McGregor, Arfield, Barisic, Katic, Balagun, Jack, Defoe and Roofe have all been out injured for a minimum of 3 games each, 2 of their players are suspended for 7 games and Morelos has been off the boil and wanted away all season so their not without their problems.
Our problem is our players and Manager. He has changed formation umpteen times, never got our GK position sorted, our defence is worst Iv seen for 10 plus years.
The players aren’t motivated they look half arsed and regardless of ability you give your all for the jersey.
They don’t become bad players overnight, manager has publicly slated them and they have spat the dummy out, he admitted he doesn’t know if what he tells them is not enough or too much wtf and that’s in public.
Somethings not right and the buck stops with Lenny.

GGGG
I few of those players you mentioned have not got off the bench.
Arfield has played all 15 league games.
Barasic has not came of the bench twice but has been in every league squad.
Jack has missed 2 league games.
Davis has missed 2 league games and never got off the bench once.
Those 4 players have only missed 4 league games between them due to injury.
A big difference to missing at least 3 games each.

I believe we've conceded 13 goals in 13 league games so far this season.

The papers are reporting that lennon isn’t going to quit and the board are still backing him. Strap in lads, we are in this for the long haul. More tedious football to look forward to, never proactive as a club. React once it’s too late as usual.

Without real fan-pressure from reaction during and after matches, the manager and players are in a very different 'safety bubble', where one 'disaster' after another is swept under the carpet.
This is why we are seeing so many poor performances and bad results where the same mistakes repeat like Groundhog Day.
Meanwhile back at Confused. Com Celtic Park. NL will hobble on with this bunch of disheartened and unsettled players, in hope, ifs and buts until Lawell eventually realizes - D'Oh; it's far too late!
The team have went through bad spells in the past and recovered well, but things have not been right for months and even whenever we seem to take a step forward, we take another two backward.
The Scottish media have even eased-up with the criticism, because the current plight suits their cause down to the ground.
One side of the city can't wait for the next game, wondering how many goals they will score, while we worry about when will the penalty be awarded, how many we will concede and what ball will be drawn out the bingo machine to determine our substitutions.
Santa; if you're reading this, you know what to do!

The Copenhagen defeat

We all were crying out for a new Left Back we finally found one but now everything else is going tits up. 😂The Board don't seem to grasp the overwhelming need for change ASAP. Losing 10 in a row will be Lawells legacy if it's left to late. Is this Lawells last year?
