So lennie has confirmed the rumours that Damien duff was leaving us. Personally, I’m gutted . When he came to us he said he would have swam the Irish Sea to be involved with us, he really seemed an integral part of the management team. When you hear quite a few of the players speak of him, the one to one coaching he done with a few of them, always seemed to have time to pass on his massive experience either after training or after a game was vital . Ireland’s gain is definitely our loss.

George McCluskey's coaching the Under 17s. Plenty of top level experience and could coach the front line.

Don't know why he couldn't balance both roles? Giving up day-to-day contact with players for an as-and-when required International job seems strange - especially when he was doing so well at his 'boyhood club'. Unless he sees this as a stepping stone to bigger things?

Maloney is a great shout, would rather someone with experience, this is a massive season for us would rather we got in someone with different ideas.

Damian duff will be a big loss next season Lennon saying he will look within probably McManus or O'Dea. I really hope they are forward thinking personally I think you need that and listening to players interviews during the season duff was a fantastic forward thinking coach.
