It has to be said that rfc (ia) marking the anniversary of their 1972-1973 European ban with another European ban is a special gesture. Well done

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Smithy re Istanbul, Rangers fans have a lot in common too as they are all Turkeys..LOL Timalloy

Agree2 Disagree1

Lol Smithy...That was an absolute crackin night for Liverpool :-) Although, our history being we were the first and now forever a thorn in the side of our neighbours (which is an added bonus) Mrs E

Agree2 Disagree2

Theres a tube on rangersmedia trying to claim a) that the cup winners cup was superior to the big cup and b) rangers winning it is better than the tic in 67. i occasionally have a shooftie on there for a laugh. this time i split my sides. of course rangers didnt even win the cup to qualify for that comp. we did the double and they got in the back door and of course shamed our country again.
i'll be raising a glass to that great team of 67 tomorrow. hail hail. {Ed007's Note - It's always worth a laugh on there. It's like a social experiment went drastically wrong with entertaining consequences, like The Truman Show.}

Agree1 Disagree2

Nice one ed. but you cant use the word truman in any context involving rangers. {Ed007's Note - Oops, my bad lol.}

Agree1 Disagree1

Some ra peepuls stupidity & ignorance knows no bounds...the mess the clubs in, enough said lol. Mrs E

I bet he feels a bit stupid now, especially the "this is only the beginning" bit...............

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Evening Smithy, yes we Tims also have noticed how all these "brave" bears have disappeared like snow off a dyke, seems they can dish it out but cannot take it..
This is the "Beginning of the End" for them hail hail Timalloy

Agree5 Disagree1

Tam1873 what could you possibly have to put you in a jubilant mood ? You follow a club with no class or dignity , and no money , who have convinced themselves that it is wholly acceptable to lie , cheat and break the rules , because "we are Rangers , we are r'people" away into a corner and hold a conversation wae yersel ya clown , nae wonder Scottish society is in the state it's in if we give credence to "intellectuals" like you

Agree1 Disagree0

Well if you check the date it was the 30th october and we were cruising the league at the time before we totally fell away, and when you lot took over the lead yourselves were all posting the same kinda banter just as you are now, and I can take it on the chin girls so bring it and im not sitting in any corner i dont hide away like you lot did when your team were playing gash, im here usually once a day to read everybodys thoughts on Rangers as thats all everyone is talking about even though you are champions you cant get the back pages...But credit where it is due you are worthy champions and my comment on the 30th october came back and bit me on the butt..

Tam-Sir 1873 Glad to see the celtic fans are only interested in us..

Agree3 Disagree1

Maybe so Thomas , but even then your lies , cheating and refusal to pay anybody were about to explode in your faces , were you one of the osteriches who refused to believe Mr Whyte didnt have the money to keep yous going ?

Agree1 Disagree0

Whatever nameless person, So now it was my lies my cheating ffs man get a grip how the hell was anyone to know the outcome of all this including the whyte saga..you only want us put out of the game or stripped of titles so you can boast the biggest trophy haul and to be fair it is enjoyable i can tell you that although would you not just rather win them with us there, I know you wont agree with me cos you lot always think you are in the right so whats the point....

Tam-Sir 1873 still here and still posting even after july..

Agree1 Disagree1

Tam Sir 1873....if you are stripped of titles, I can guarantee Celtic would not want any of them. Of course you will get fans counting up what could have been if rangers have been playing within their means and the SFA rules. You might have a 'trophy haul' but the one missing has brought the club to its knees...so I'm glad you found it 'enjoyable' ~ Mrs E

Agree1 Disagree0

Mrs E like I said whats the point..

Tam-Sir 1873 finished wae this conversation with nameless and now Mrs E

I find the BBC's claims about D&P hard to believe. If they are just doing their job, they MUST sue BBC to remain credible in their jobs - otherwise they will be proven to be cheats and must be replaced immediately - bold claims indeed. Either way, these fairly wooley BBC accusations do nothing except slow down the process of selling the club. You have to wonder if the BBC are intentionally stirring up suspicion on D&P to slow down the sale? The BBC are very keen on 'conflicts of interest' recently - how about the fact that if Rangers get liquidised, the BBC are in pole position to get a very good deal on the SPL highlights next year - there are still a lot of Celtic fans at home (and in the BBC) who would watch. Also its worth noting that the lawyers representing the SFA against Rangers, are the same lawyers that represent Celtic football club. To be honest, i hope Scottish football does die and Rangers can move to another (better) league without the corruption or 'small man' mentality of all these diddy teams desperate for an old firm pay-day.

Celtic and lawyers (this time) to blame.

Jungle Bhoy.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Do you think that person is so deluded that he now thinks the administrators of the bankrupt rangers are part of the rangers family and must be supported at all costs ?
i think if i put a rangers top on, went down ibrox and stood on a box i could get them to harass anybody i want, simon cowell maybe. lol.

Three guys are drinking champagne in a Glasgow club.
After a while an argument breaks out, and they begin to fight amongst themselves. The first guy grabs his jacket and runs out,
leaving the other two scrapping. Moments later the second guy is knocked unconscious.
The third guy calmly walks to the bar and orders a shot.
What was that all about ask the bar-man.
The third guy, replys, well the first guy was David Murray doing what he does best.
And what about the second guy, asks the bar- man.
Oh, he's Craig Whyte, getting what he deserved.
I don't get it, what's that got to do with you, asks the bar-man.
Well, says the third guy, removing a pipe from his pocket...
When it comes to fecking ugly ****.. I'm the best, and the fight was to prove it!

Just watched the Rangers - The Men Who sold The Jerseys..ooft. Just confirms yet again that the players, management and even the fans are no victims.

Hugh Adam warned them in 2002 he was 'ridiculed'. Were the players and management that financially ignorant they assumed the payments were okay ? Finally the fans..£12m etc for one player and what did they get, they equalled a domestic record set by Celtic and celebrated with complete blinkers on. Rangers eventually shoved 5 wee stars on their strip just to show how proud they were and the fans wear it completing ignoring the fact that this is not the done thing, the stars above the badge represent European success.

This is a story of Greed, this is a story of Rangers...says is all !

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Of course the fans thought it was okay. Why wouldn't they have ? Are you really trying to tell me that you are completely aware of what is happening on a daily basis in the Celtic boardroom or for that matter, any other boardroom. I'll tell you what son, quit flattering yourself..you do not .

Agree0 Disagree1

There were warnings and the fans chose to ignore them...I'll tell you what son, the fans are no victims.

There are people on here who were either just a twinkle in their father's eye at the time,or who have short memories.
Excuses can be made for the former to an extent, although there is a wealth of information available,if they can be bothered looking for it. Try "Googling"

I think i am going to try and buy rangers, I think my bid could possibly be better than Charles Green's. I have £34,000,000 available through my close friend Prince Caspian of Narnia, I can't prove that I actually have the money but I have a little peice of paper that says I have it and my other close friend Ron Jeremy gave me advice on my takeover so I think I am on to a winner! i would like to invite people to join my consortium and offer some financial assistance, just incase people pull out on me. Don't send any emails though cos them bad people at the BBC can track them.

I was looking at the EBT Q&A on the BBC website. this passage made me laugh:

Who set up the EBT scheme for Rangers and the Murray Group?

A former lawyer who advised companies on tax strategy known as Paul Baxendale-Walker. He was struck off the roll of solicitors by a disciplinary tribunal in 2007. Mr Baxendale-Walker is the author of two books on EBT tax strategies and advised Rangers on how to set the scheme up and operate it.

He subsequently became involved in the porn industry, producing, directing and acting in films under the name Paul Chaplin.
