ED007 looks like you can relax now when visiting your church, a Carfin man (just HAD TO BE LOL) has invented a CONTACTLESS Holy water dispenser.
Another problem solved by a TIM.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed007's Note - I seen that the other day, Tim 👍 Mass is REALLY weird now with all the restrictions.}

Mixed reports again from the tabloids about the AEK keeper. Talking about Personal term been met how can they do this Ed 007.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - How can who do what, Rich?}

24 Jul 2020 14:42:26
How can personal terms be met between player and club before price or valuation has still to be agreed with buying and selling clubs?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - It's quite normal for clubs to talk with agents about their clients even before there's any concrete approach to their clubs.

The process should be along the lines of: Clubs will typically informally ask an agent (a) if the player is going to be available, and (b) would the player consider a move to the club. There may be some broad discussion on the sort of deal that would be offered but no more than that.
If the answer is yes, it is then necessary for the club to approach the player's club to ask if they would be willing to sell and if they would grant permission to speak to a player's agent formally about a transfer and possibly even the player about actually making a move. This will typically involve either broadly (through an offer) or actually agreeing a fee and responsibility for any significant costs (agents fees etc.).
Once this has happened the club will be able to speak to the player's agent and perhaps the player himself to look at the package that will be involved. Many players are looked at and discussed at a high-level with agents and clubs; a subset of those have an offer placed; a subset of those involve discussions with the player's club; a subset of those involve discussions over terms, and; a subset of those go ahead.

Agents will often try and get more specific details of wages and other financials before they should - but most clubs are happy to follow this process. Players will often talk to other players about moves but, whilst wrong, is tolerated as it would be impossible to manage.}

🤣 Ed does the T stand for Transfers with Rich T.

{Ed007's Note - I'm saying nothing 🤐

Cheers Ed 007.

{Ed007's Note - 👍

24 Jul 2020 16:56:02
Hi Ed. Does that mean that generally when the club receives an offer or is approached about one of their players, the buying club has already had a conversation with either the player, his agent or both?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Yep.}

24 Jul 2020 16:59:24
Any word on new players coming in?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - I haven't buddy.}

How did this thread manage to go from Churches, Mass and holy water to the possible transfer of the AEK Athens goalie 🤣.

24 Jul 2020 18:18:32
I haven't been to mass for, ahem, a while (I know, I know) but wondering how you show peace between your fellow massees nowadays?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Just a nod and wee wave mate, there's no hymns, hymnbooks, missals or bulletins. There's only 44 people allowed in the Chapel I go to, you need to register and book your spot then give your name when you go in where the floor's all marked out and pews are blocked off. And there's only one reading and the Gospel now.
Mass usually lasts about 45 mins but now it's Communion and out the door, it started at 4 last week and I was back in the house for 4:40 and that's me having to phone and wait for a taxi after it.}

24 Jul 2020 20:16:29
Some water is better no water roll on when I can attend mass again.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 20:35:21
Ed that sounds mental but it reminded me of a funny story about the priest from Twechar. He use to claim he done the fastest mass in the west. Everyone loved it. In and out sharpish 😂.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - Bishop Toal likes a quick Mass as well, you're out the door after half an hour tops.}

24 Jul 2020 22:06:49
🤣 Kev Fr Flash As we all called him.

Mrs T read that we are bidding £5m for the AEK goalkeeper and asked me why Celtic are not trying to sign Forster who she read was also available at around £5m and is proven to us.
I explained it is all down to WAGES, this Greek guy will probably be happy with £15k-£20k weekly while big Fraser will want double that and a hefty signing on fee.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

24 Jul 2020 12:39:51
It's more than that I'd say Tim. Think he wants to play in the epl. Fair enough but he won't play in Europe.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 12:48:28
And the fact that if he performs he has resale value. Forster would have no resale value.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 15:28:35
forster wanting money our club can't afford. If we go out and sign the greek boy it would show a bit of intent and clear up the fact we seem to only be linked with loan moves this window.

St Mirren have had some of their coaches testing positive for C.V. so their friendly has been postponed for tomorrow. Sevco played as much as 9 players playing in a bounce game against Dundee United ( according to BBC) without testing results being finished SPL have to have a punishment in place for the start of the season for team's that don't fully comply with C.V. rules on testing with points deduction and a heavy fine for team's not complying with the safety of their players and others surely.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

24 Jul 2020 11:11:21
If it involves Sevco, they will get away with it, it will save sevco getting the Crayons out for boring Statements from them.

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 11:43:23
Guys I posted as a joke about 3 weeks ago that Sevco would do any testing on the cheap.
They are putting people's lives at risk to try and save a few quid.
If I was chairman of Aberdeen or any other Premiership club I would REFUSE to let my players play them UNLESS they could produce BONA FIDE paperwork that all their players are clear of this disease.
This goes beyond cheating.

I know they treat the SPFL and SFA with arrogant contempt, but this is a public health and safety issue and a matter for Holyrood and even get wee Aggie round there wi the wire brush and dettol.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 13:57:19
It's shocking. Yet that mob will twist it and make out it was someone else's fault. They have total disregard for fans safety as they have done in the past. Still no news from the SPFL about their punishment for storming the turnstiles invading the pitch and putting their disabled fans life in danger.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 15:03:43
If the SFA don't put a rule in place before the start of the season they will just be letting them bend the rules and much as they want SURELY they will see this?

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 10:44:12
I think football has finally been broken beyond repair £110 for a man city top is just ridiculous.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

24 Jul 2020 11:55:28
It is the authentic one that a player would wear, have to remember most kits are replicas.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 12:41:12
You mean the Celtic shirts we buy are made differently from the ones worn by players? I genuinely didn't know that.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 13:01:53
HT celtic done a more expensive one that the players wore a few years back. don't think it sold particularly well compared to the normal one and it was never done again.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 13:26:02
Ive got scott browns top from 2 years ago and its night and day to the one i've got to wear. Its far better quality.

24 Jul 2020 20:11:43
£65 for ours is shocking as well bud.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 20:30:53
I think adidas tops tend to be more expensive welshy but I agree, too steep. It will keep going up every year as long as we're clearing the shelves. This adidas stuff has been hyped up no end, they'll be wishing they made our tops years ago.

After all the claims that they could finish the league, it's nearly August and those clowns still don't have their CV-19 testing sorted and are breaking all sorts of rules.

What a clownshow.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

24 Jul 2020 09:13:28
They don't recognise rules.

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 09:29:18
Rules don't apply to TRIFC 2012, apart from secret agreements.

Agree4 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 09:33:44
they pay more money bending the rules than what it would cost following them. eejits.

Agree2 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 10:57:26
SFA have to put a rule in place before the start of the season for team's not doing all the tests necessary and to prove that they have before each game and not just really on teams doing the right thing as we all know that won't happen in some clubs like a player not as far as C.V. test goes if they can't provide they can't play any team flaunting the rules deduct points and fine them.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2020 11:09:14
It should be a government thing, it's an issue of public health, any club not doing the correct testing procedure should be fined heavily. Wee Nichola or Boris need to put a law in place.

I would buy Cosgrove for the £2 million the French 2nd Division team offered. He knows our League and would do us a job.

Believable0 Unbelievable0
