Hello, are my posts being delivered, deleted or removed?

If the latter, what is causing deletion or removal?

I apologise if they offer any offence.

{Ed007's Note - I deleted the thread earlier as it was a complete load of bollocks and it was just attracting even more bollocks.}

23 Sep 2020 19:59:39
Don't hold back Ed007 lol
I'm wishing I was online earlier now to see it.

{Ed007's Note - It was something to do with the Queen being a lizard or some other made up claptrap along those lines.}

23 Sep 2020 20:28:11
Mine also was not posted a couple of day ago as I can confirm it WAS a complete load of bollocks - wasn't it Ed?

{Ed007's Note - Knowing you it probably was, Stengo.}

I really need new glasses. I thought he said it was Eddie Izzard.

23 Sep 2020 23:09:04
Can't take that Eddie Izzard - wasn't taxed at birth to take that drivel. Was he not one of Gordon Ramsay's mates?

With the game tomorrow being a one off game I suspect Celtic will play a 4-2-3-1 formation. Especially with Rigaā€™s best players being their wingers.
With Jullian out Ajer will partner Duffy.
Lennonā€™s biggest decision will be between Frimpong or Elhamed.
I donā€™t think Ntcham will start and I wouldnā€™t start Elyounoussi away from home on a tight pitch.
I think they will play Turnbull in the number 10 with Christie on the right and Forrest on the left.
Both wide men will be able to cut inside and link up with Edouard who has been given the go ahead by Lenny.

a lot of that gives me the fear buzz.

If we can't beat this Riga team (who were only formed 6 years ago) then we shouldn't be playing European football.
They're newer than Sevco! HH.

Buzz Bomb. I don't know if Elyounoussi will play or not tomorrow but if he can't play well on tight pitches then you have to question why we brought him to the club.
Most of the pitches in Scotland are small and tight so it's a lot of matches he could miss out on.
I think we should pick our best 11 and stick to it unless there are injuries or loss of form, making constant changes to the starting 11 and formation never really works in my view.

Gerry
Elyounoussi puts me in mind of Andreas Thom.
A brilliant talent especially at home with Celtic doing most of the attacking on the bigger pitch.
But on the smaller pitch. similar to when Kilmarnock shortened the length and width of their pitch last month, I think he struggles to make an impact.
I remember Andreas Thom always had a brilliant start to the season in the 90s and he also regained his form towards the end of the season.
But he didnā€™t like the winter months when the players had to dig deep on the heavier surfaces.

Buzz Bomb. It's a shame because on his day he's a really good player.
Maybe that's his problem at Southampton, the marking is very tight and there is very little space to play in.

23 Sep 2020 21:58:28
Gerry I still think he has a massive part to play this season.
He will get more game time if Ntcham gets sold.

23 Sep 2020 22:56:01
Ntcham is much more of a talent than Elyounoussi, Elyounoussi is in my eyes, vastly overated, by the same people who don't realise how good Ntcham is, .

aindoh, probably the same people who give Taylor pelters at every opportunity. HH.

Teams are still sniffing around a couple of our players, so far Ntcham and Play Your Cards Right (Ajer) .

If they do go within the next couple of weeks will that give us the time to get replacements in - if that's what Pedro judges right to do so?

It looks like Southampton are going through the final stages of trying to sign Ntcham in the next few days.
Ntcham is a great player on his day but is inconsistent especially in the heat if a battle.
If Celtic have to sell a player for over Ā£10 million to help balance the books then I would pick Ntcham to be that player.
It would be a good piece of business for both player and Celtic because Ntcham has only 2 years left of his contract and thereā€™s no way he will want to sign an extension.
We have plenty of cover in the midfield and the big transfer fee Celtic would receive for Ntcham would also help the club knock back any bids that might come in for Edouard in the next 12 days.

There has been reported interest from Southampton for Ntcham And AC Milan for Ajer (and maybe there are other clubs? ) ; but they have not been in any hurry so far. Turnbull is in already and it seems the club are looking at left wing and centre back options already; so hopefully we will have a complete squad come deadline.

Agree1 Disagree0

23 Sep 2020 16:01:59
Possibly Turnbull has been bought to replace Ntcham?

Looking back over the years, Southampton have signed some amount of players from us. They would be better renaming as Southampton Celtic lol.

I think the Riga player was playing mind games when doing his pre-match interview,
Stating they still donā€™t know the lineup or formation Riga will play against Celtic because of the situation surrounding his manager.
He forgot to mention the coach thatā€™s stepped in for their last few games was their manager last season.
