Anyone watch the BT Sport programme tonight? Good interviews with NL, Moussa, Lustig and Griff. Was a bit disappointed tho, was hoping for more action and highlights from the last 9 seasons. Hail hail everyone.

Henrik
I was expecting the same as you.
But I really enjoyed the banter and I thought the hour flew in.

They didn't half keep putting the boot into Sevco at every opportunity.

I hope we make reasonable offers for Jamie Hamilton, Arron Hickey, Lewis Smith and David Turnbull
We should then let them remain at there clubs for next season getting first team action.
If we were to let them develop until a first team place becomes available at Celtic Park.
I would insist on Hickey playing in midfield as a future replacemant for Brown we could loan Hearts Church for the season
Other reserve team players need to be loaned out also to improve there development.

Why move him from LB he has potential to be as good as KT.

Was listening to the radio this afternoon and of the pundits made a very good point.
In our 9 in a row era we have sold the likes of Forster, VVD, Wanyama, Hooper, KT and the Moose.
Yet we still achieve above what we thought we would and are now probably playing our best football of the 9 just now without any of these guys.
Just shows you how well we are doing.

As a 'veteran' of both magnificent achievements, I think the team deserves enormous credit during this particular run.
Although Big Jock's was the first; in a very competitive domestic era and an unforgettable Lisbon '67 triumph, setting the standards, then a second European Cup final in 1970 and several cups.
Whereas the current side has been chopped and changed several times, under four managerial changes and especially when you consider the huge mental strength and determination to win the eighth after the previous manager walked away at a very crucial time.
Truly a team like no other.

Lenny has said there won't be wholesale changes over the summer although there may be a few tweaks. I might be wrong but that would suggest our most valuable players won't be moving on, the likes of Eddy/ Ajer/ McGregor. At the end of the day money and a player's individual ambitions will always decide what happens but hopefully we'll keep our top men. Keeping Forster will be the biggest bonus whether it's an additional season loan or outright purchase. HH.

might not be a major European Trophy but there is the incentive of 10 in a row and becoming a legend at Celtic to induce some to stay for at least one more season.

We are doing brilliant. Personally the invincible season was the best football.

TinyTim, not all of our players are as passionate about 10iar as the fans are. Most are onboard which isn't a bad thing. HH.

I love Griff I really do but can you just imagine if we still had big Moussa and paired him up top with French Eddy.

We did right before he left and they looked absolutely fantastic together.

If Griff stays relatively free of injuries and keeps his marbles in place next season he'll be 1st or 2nd top scorer for us next season. Still a very underrated player in the eyes of many. HH.

thought we might have had a live forum while the Players etc. were celebrating 9 iar live. Sir Rod, VVD, Paddy McCourt, MoN all congratulating. Wee Lenny, "Have a wine for the nine. ".

What's the deal with Édouard and lemons? Seen Griff and Julien had to find a lemon in honour of eddy.

{Ed007's Note - Could be something to do with us ripping off The Stone Roses for his song, their logo is a lemon.....?}

Has Soro been brought in to replace Brown and has Klimala been brought in to replace Griffiths? If the latter's the case then we still need a main striker. I can still see Bayo as that but he needs to wisen up to the SPFL and have plenty of games under his belt on loan to an Aberdeen/ Killie/ Motherwell or an English Championship team if Eddie stays another season. If Eddy leaves then we definately need another striker.

Don't know about Soro but I'd be surprised if Bayo or Klimala make the grade.

what's every ones thoughts on transfers this season to strengthen. personally I think let the dead wood go and try get foster and mo signed up and add 2 or 3 more a strong centre back and paddy Roberts send bayo out on loan and bring another striker in and were good to go. all that depending on if we keep the squad together main players staying.

Elyounoussi is not worth it imo. Sell Ajer and use the funds to buy Forster, Roberts, a CB and a LB.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 May 2020 09:50:11
I would rather see Elyounoussi than Roberts IMO, Hopefully Forster gets signed as he would be a serious loss! I think Elyounoussi will sign for another year on loan. HH.

If we can keep all our star players, sign a left back, tie up Forster and either Mo or another attacker I'd be well chuffed.

Agree0 Disagree0

23 May 2020 10:50:13
If we are going to continue with the 352 there is no need for Mo or Paddy.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed007's Note - So we don't need Forrrest either - that should bring in a good fee - and Elyounoussi can play through the middle and would be a far better option than Rogic.}

23 May 2020 11:23:30
Hopefully we can keep big Forster and possibly Elyounoussi.
Also a priority would be 2 left footed Centre Backs, especially if we sell Ajar ( because he is the player that currently plays on the left although he is right footed)
All our other CB are right footed and if we are to continue with a 3-5-2 we need to have plenty of cover in that department.
I still think the left back is our weakest position in the team.

23 May 2020 13:36:26
agree ed 007. I think elyounoussi is a must real talented player there who has bags of goals in him and can play on the wings and through the middle he was showing what he was all about till he got the injury was on something like 8 goals in 11 games. wee paddy will add competition on the right and keep Forrest on his toes and he is a talent also . I assume we will be switching the two formations wee play time to time.

Ed Forrest has looked OK at RWB. Still popped up with goals and assists. Given the fee and wages for Mo I don't see it being value for money as a replacement for Rogic. Would rather see Christie in there and don't see Mo being his back up. Would rather the funds were spent on Forster.

23 May 2020 20:40:04
bubs. if you get a opportunity to sign players like elyounoussi you take that opportunity. even if its another season on loan would rather permanent obv.

Read an article today from Dembele saying his biggest regret was not playing beside edouard earlier question is how good could that partnership have been as good as Larsson and Sutton?

Looked like it would've been deadly we was trialing it out in pre season but think injuries ruined that opportunity.
