Duff & Phelps have said tonight that they are going to take legal action against the bbc over this documentary, I think this is a lot of bs again they're only saying that to make out theyre innocent I wonder if they actually will take action? When will the lying STOP!!
Conor67

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Probably the same way Whyte took action against the BBC.

Jungle Bhoy.

I think we will find that D & P will be the subject of an immediate investigation by whichever financial regulatory authority investigates insolvency practitioners.

Unless of course it follows under the remit of the SFA or SPL. lol.

Poor sammy looks like his beloved rankers have played their last game, maybe he can still go down Edmiston drive on a saturday and do a bit of shopping at the new shopping mall being drawn up just now!! {Ed007's Note - Talk about stereotypes....I was expecting it to come up at the bottom saying 'Played by actor'.}

We all know .... Joanna Lumley said no !

Believable5 Unbelievable0

I also hope that the SPL say no to this corrupt little establishment. As a Celtic supporter I have never in all my years of going to the games stood inside Ipox as a matter of principle. KM

Agree2 Disagree0

Joanna Lumley does do walking away....or was it running as fast as she could! The thought of the Kafakanesque slug with the lovely Joanna makes it difficult for me to keep my breakfast down! Sopot Celt. PS I know its hurtful and it may be a cheap laugh, but surely it is good enough for cheats and people who enjoy cheap shots themselves.

Afternoon ED007, just back from getting in my supplies for tonight, a nice wee family barbecue, then settle down with cold bottles of magners to watch the "whodunnit" on BBC1, if as good as I hope I will just continuously replay it on a loop, taking in all the "baddies" getting their "come uppance" who needs John Wayne when we have Mark Daly, Alex Thomson and good old RTC... enjoy the show folks.. Timalloy

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Timalloy, you sound as though you're getting really geared up for this.

Couple of tweets today from Mark Daly to get you going even more:

"Dual contracts? Find out tonight which Rangers players had side letters promising undeclared funds through EBT"

"Biggest EBT beneficiaries named, did Whyte really "dupe" Sir David and questions over the administrators. "

Have to say, I can't wait myself.

There will be many bears hiding behind the couch watching this one.

K-Dot.

Agree3 Disagree0

Doubt many bears will be behind the couch, many bears never had a clue what was going on, many bears will be just as interested to see what was going on

Agree4 Disagree0

Heard earlier today that the german nerlinger had an EBT contract.
davy

They will probably stick their heads in the sand again just like they done last October after the last programme.

Jungle Bhoy.

Exactly #1.
Just as interested because it affects our clubs future. I currently hold the opinion that SDM and CW should be hunted down for this. Now having said that, will CW's actions prove to be the salvation or the downfall of Rangers? Who knows, we may find out more tonight.
Either or is just as unpalatable to me anyway, for the manner he went about in.
But if it turns out that his actions give the club a chance of survival (that's all) then CW is a better man than Murray who callously threw our club to the wolves.
Now, there's something i never thought i'd hear myself say.

First time poster, great site btw always good for a giggle.

Been thinking Jamie Mackie from qpr would do good for us, doesn't seem to be getting a lot of game time under Hughes, decent pace, good finisher and can header a ball! {Ed001's Note - he has started almost every match under Hughes!}

Was Good to see the following story - www.celticfc.net/newsstory?item=2652

Always good to be included in lists like this, Will still be a country mile behind your Man Utd's etc, but its showing an upward trend and long may it continue!

We certainly done ourselves no harm last night in Norwich... t**tter has been going mental by the looks of it! Proud of all those who were there yesterday! a credit to the club as always!

If Hooper does leave, Jordan Rhodes is the perfect replacement. Would bring a bit of aerial presence which is arguably missing from Hoopers game. No doubt Rhodes will score the same, if not more, goals than Hooper.

Just read a quote from NL talking about Henrikson and he said that We have got a bit of work to do with trimming the squad before we can possibly even think about bringing players in"

I though we had already bid and failed to bring in a £3m striker?

Surely this just contradicts what he has already said or has he been "misquoted"

Was the whole £3m striker talk designed to look like they were looking to do serious business at the start of the window whereas that's not really the case??

JGD

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Naw ah picked up oan that wan tae big chap!

Agree0 Disagree0

The £3 million bid was for Artjom Rudnevs and obviously time was an issue with him as there were other clubs after him. He would have been an absolute goal machine in the SPL and I think the board realised he wouldnt be much of a gamble.

Sorry Ed, I know that the dirty one's administration saga is not a transfer rumour, but I've just been reading the BBC website. I really think they're going to get away with this.

Neil Doncaster, the Kilmarnock chairman pointed to the penalties already imposed on Rangers.

"You have got to be very careful not to come in too heavily with penalties and points deductions or financial penalties going forward which actually put people off investing in that club and trying to make it healthy," he said.

"After all, it's not the new owners who have done the damage, it is the previous owners.

"Also, some people in football have overlooked the fact that Rangers were penalised 10 points, the maximum penalty under SPL rules, which effectively ended their challenge for the league title.

"They were then refused a Uefa licence by the SFA and so can't compete in Europe next year, that is the second penalty.

"The third penalty they have suffered already is the fine, combined with the one-year embargo on signing new players over 18.

I thought the 10 points were the standard sanction, not "maximum", and I thought the UEFA licence was refused by UEFA.

As for the third sanction mentioned, as soon as i saw this, i knew it was an excuse that they were going to use to escape the other sanction which is the standard for a new team entering the league (which is technically what happens with a "newco"). That should also void any other sanctions, tho, since it's now no longer the sanctioned club, right?

It's ridiculous that there's even to be a meeting, UEFA will surely brook no nonsense?

Believable0 Unbelievable3

Neil Doncaster isnt the Kilmarnock chairman its Michael Johnson.

New owners in bed with whyte all along. Evidence has been found that duff and Phelps were involved with whyte and ticketus. Expect calls for d+p to be dismissed.

Message for Michael Johnston the chairman of Kilmarnock , time to grow a pair , never mind this , don't be too hard on Rangers nonsense , Rod Petrie , Steve Brown are chairmen at clubs who also need every penny they can get , but they also know that Rangers MUST be severely sanctioned for their wrongdoings , so stop your snivelling and do the right thing or Scottish Football is dead in the water .

He should have kept his mouth shut. Now he looks part of the circle.

What a show from Celtic fans when 4000 turn up for a midweek testimonial hundreds of miles away for someone out with their club and only 600 rangers fans turn up to help save their own club from going out the game! Norwich fans all over twitter saying it was the biggest and best support they have ever seen. That's why we have the best supporters in the game.BRILLIANT!

Believable10 Unbelievable2

That's because Celtic ain't conning fans with rfff merd , they don't want to save the club , they want of scot free
