I want to know everyone else's opinion on Greg Taylor. I have my own positive opinion and expect him to improve further. While we are all in lockdown and there is feck all football, are there any Prince fans on here?

Never mind about Prince my dogs want to go for a walk and I'm in fear to take her out in case i get lifted 😫.

He's a decent player but not sure he's what we need. I don't think he's strong enough going forward but to be fair he wasn't that type of player at Kilmarnock. He's better than Bolingoli and Hayes but I think it's a position we need to look at.

Johnny Hayes has just been given a new contract so I could see that as possibly the exit door for Bolingoli in the summer leaving Taylor first choice and Hayes as back-up?

I think Taylor is currently a good player and he will become an excellent player for us. He's young, he's determined and he has genuine potential. HH.

Stevie it’s like the jail your allowed out for exercise once a day and nobody has said we can’t take the dug just stick to social distancing norms if you pass somebody and keep the dog on a lead so he doesn’t force you into contact if he chases another mutt for example .

I like him, I think if we played 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1 he'd be regarded the best left back in the league because he's the best at winning the ball back and recycling possession.

Where he falls down is in the final third. His crossing isn't where it needs to be and he's been caught out too high up the park a few times.

I actually think he can work on both these things and be a really good full back for us after a good preseason and a bit more experience.

There's bigger issues to resolve in the starting XI over the next 18 months, but if he's not improved by the end of next season I'll say it's time for him to move on.

Wow I am lucky i didn't jump in there as I was going to say I loved his early work but his last few albums were a little off the mark! PHEW, sure glad I waited!

Try taking up an instrument. Personally I'd advise the guitar I've playing one for years and can ensure you that you can pick up the basics pretty quickly. Furthermore, you can buy starter kits which obviously includes the guitar and tuner in numerous outlets fro online to Argos.

Weemope everybody I grew up with in an outlying village of Airdrie that makes Larkhall look like Carfin they all managed to play the flute despite being barely able to read or write or stand up straight. So that must be the easiest option musically naw?

Never played the flute and don't particularly like the sound but your probably right. However, did play the recorder at school and can do a great version of Tom Hark by the Piranhas.

No I’m from the one that had the Chapel of Ease which means the blessed sacrament isn’t kept there because there is no Chapel house. It’s supported and covered by St David’s in Plains that’s what had sustained it but was still more Orange them the other by a long way,

ED007 if you are about we need your advice.
I seem to remember you posting a few weeks ago that you rarely went out unless for hospital/ doctor/ church/ family visits, now that most of us are in the same situation have you any tips to cope with being cooped up in the house.
I love Mrs T and girls but after only one week being in same space we are all getting on each other's nerves, luckily we all have our own rooms to go to for some me space but it is getting harder.
One good thing about modern technology though is that through my laptop I can watch old cowboy and gangster movies which helps pass the time. As a family we have agreed just to come together for meal times to keep bickering amongst us to a minimum, any more good advice to keep us sane and out of divorce court ED007 lol.

{Ed007's Note - All this virus stuff hasn't really affected us to be honest, Tim. A normal day for us is the Mrs starts work at 5 in the morning until 1, when she comes home we have lunch and then she goes to bed for a few hours giving me time to watch what I want on TV or play the PS4 etc. There's some cracking podcasts out there as well (James English, Shaun Attwood, True Geordie and Those Conspiracy Guys are some I listen to) which can help pass a couple of hours.
And having the sites to do has definitely helped keep me sane (and sober) over the past 10 years, the secret for me is to try and keep my mind busy even if it's just bingewatching TV shows or Youtube videos.
Anyone else got any tips about how to pass the time.}

23 Mar 2020 13:31:00
Not a tip but a head's up I've been told not to go to work for the next two months I stupidly told the other half now I'm decorating the whole house so if you find yourself in my situation just lie and go out every day anywhere you can that's safe or you'll be put to work same as me 😂😂.

Get the old board games out, that's what I'll be doing tonight. There are some good series to watch on netflix, old celtic games are the go to for me if the mrs isn't about, the maradona film is good that was on 4 the other night. If your able to you could do a bit of diy. Even better make sure your elderly neighbours are ok and got the essentials.

Pray, hope and try not to worry. And when there’s a chance to help somebody out or reassure them do it. Stay safe lads and lassies. My wife’s on the front line with the NHS staff. Real heroes and heroines. God Bless them all. 👍.

@JFP, Steph, ED007 and everyone else yes try and help the old ones on their own near you, Mrs T had got girls to make sure 3 neighbours near us were well stocked up, and even though we are in lock down she is keeping in touch with them by phone and will get other family members to take food to them if we cannot. We are lucky we have enough to get by on and girls have no symptoms but just being cautious by staying in, but are available to get us and neighbours food when needed.
This is when the good comes out in people, not those idiots down the seaside and parks and not the clowns being selfish with their shopping. God bless all NHS staff also.

{Ed007's Note - There's no need for all the panic buying, if people just shopped normally everything would be fine. My Mrs says there's plenty getting delivered to Aldi's but it's just not lasting, it's the supermarkets distribution centres that can't keep up with the demands of the panic buying public.}

23 Mar 2020 16:18:28
I'm one of those unfortunate people that will even have to work during a lock down. Stay safe guys peak is still to come for this.

The more you go out the house and the more contact you have with others the greater the risk of contracting and spreading this virus.

It is predicted that this virus has about a 2% death rate, which is higher than the normal flu. The main concern though, is because it is a new virus to humans only a small amount of humans will have immunity, so it has the potential to infect most of the world's population.

If we manage to slow down the rate at which it spreads, it gives the NHS the ability to treat the people who really need it. In some parts of the world the medical services can't cope and are having to decide who lives and who dies and we don't want that happening here.

So let us all help out by staying in the house and only going out when totally necessary and if you do go out, try and stay away from the most vulnerable so they don't get it.

I don't get out much due to disabilities and mental health issues so I've learned over the years now to pass the time. At times 1 hour can feel like a day, 1 day can feel like a week. With everybody now getting cabin fever due to this Covid pandemic it gives you a glimpse of what life is like for many on benefits due to being incapable for work. It's not all cracked up as it's meant to be eh.

I obviously retired at the right time. The only problem that we have now is that when we try to order from Asda for delivery, they are quoting just over 2 weeks.

I'll admit it, I was planning a trolley hoarding at Sainsbury's but ended up just with a basket as there was nothing left on the shelves.

To keep the peace in my house I bought the wife flowers and the daughter choccies. The war that broke out was brutal. In future I'll buy them both choccies as apparently the wife doesn't like eating flowers.
