Just saw dembeles goal for France u21. This is the second I have seen him score for them which beggars the question why he doesn't take them for us. We rarely score from a dead ball situation and he never really seems to be in the mix for them for us. In fact all our dead ball / corners are terrible especially this season . Surely we must be practising them in training . We have had several corner takers lately and we either woefully over hit them, float them straight into the keepers arms or worse still, hit the first man at the near post . With our tall team good deliveries would obviously end up with more attempts at goal.

The more non-Celts the better I say.
Hate International football and these god forsaken breaks that hamper the season and break up consistency and elongate fixture lists, reducing our close-season break - hampering CL qualification.
I feel there have been even more of these disturbances this season than ever before and apparently another SFA tour in the summer?

What consistency would that be? The rest I agree with. This break gives our players who have been missing a chance to come back and hopefully find form that has been lacking all season. We have fired on all cylinders about four times this season.

Hopefully this break can do us a favour.

Internationals can be a pain at times (esp friendlies) but u still can't beat being at a world cup or euros.
Sadly not recently but u also have to consider being an international bumps the price up for our players.
Can u imagine if we were selling LG how much those 2 free kicks (England) would have put on his price, or if MD wasnt getting a sniff at France or U21s his price would def fall.
Rogic, Armstrong, KT, are all worth a fortune but wudnt get near it if they cudnt get a cap.
Also if Ntcham was a french international we would be talking crazy money.
So we can't have it both ways.

I think we won't have as many Celtic players playing for Scotland from now on . Big Elk will pick staunch teams, I don't know why Grant and Woods are giving him cover and a semblance of non bias.
