Had to have a wee laugh there noticed the ref at Glebe Park today is a Mr Dallas son of Hugh, already denied Brechin a stonewall pen and send off Deadcos keeper, his decision book Brechin striker for diving. Some things in Scottish fitbaw never change

For a guy who claims he doesn't miss or need them you don't half go on about them and watch them, you should have been watching spurs v soton to see what style of play is achievable with a decent coach.

@ Jim1972 as a "deddy bear" you probably won't get the irony of coming on to a Celtic forum to criticise someone talking about another club when you are doing the exact same lol
Ps hope your team makes it through until May.

Jim you sound like a creepy wee man, any time I post about deadco you can guarantee Jim1972 is waiting in the wings to pounce like some kind of weird stalker

Agree0 Disagree0

You don't need to worry about my team Tim we posted huge profits not so long ago. I'm only pointing out Stevie's ability to be a hypocrite when he referred to people who talk about sevco as pathetic only a short while ago. Perhaps it's time for a retraction . Best wishes your friendly stalker. Lol

No Tim Jim's no a deady bear he's told me his name is Jim and he was born in 72 and he's a size 9 shoe! For your information Jim I don't have sly sports, I've got BT sports and today I watched the half time analysis of the deadco game switched to ESPN watched the rest of the Inter v Atalanta game and I've now got the Leverkusen v Hoffenheim game on now and I might try and get a stream later for El Classico, but you probably already know all this anyway

Jim you're full of wind and p***, never have I called anyone that talks about Scotlands newest club pathetic. I have had a go at peepul like yourself who seem to think they are the same club we used to play against in Old firm games years ago. Another thing Jim it's amazing how many folk on here mistake you for a Deady Bear!

Agree0 Disagree0

Your worrying me now Stevie how did you know I'm a size 9! Anyway enjoy a good old rivalry tonight hail hail:)

Cheers Jim a genuine 'old' rivalry, something our club doesn't have anymore

Agree0 Disagree0

Stevie I think they aren't very intelligent and just look at a log in name and make assumptions rather than reading a post and understanding it . For example I say (1)them instead of my and (2) rivals instead of my team.
If you prefer I won't comment any further while you continue your fascination with a new team in division 1

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry for butting in lads, yous can get back to your wee stooshy in a bit!
Just going back to the original post,
It wasn't a pen!
Carry on lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Better watch bigbadjohn you'll be called a deady bear with talk like that. lol

It was a pen, and stop butting in to our private little tiff bbj

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry, but wanted to reply to the OP.
It makes no odds now after reading on lol.
I almost had my own opposer to what I said and vise versa, it didn't materialize and we with most, anything else would be boring. You guys are further down the line and I can't see a change in your relationship anytime soon!
I hope I'm wrong and yous can save it, get a room, talk it out? You never know? Lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Not to start a love in but it's just a differing opinion to the approach on newco I certainly don't harbour bitterness to any celtic fans wether we agree or not. I'll share a beer but that's as far as I'll go. ;)

I can live with that Jim, at least you're calling them by one of their proper names now! lol

Reading the posts earlier regarding Lennon leaving and who to replace him, for me I would push the boat out and try for Roberto Di Mateo young manager proven in Europe I think he would be an ideal fit.

I see Lennon in today's press has again highlighted the big prices Championship clubs are asking for players, fair enough, but he quotes £3 -£4m average price, surely Celtic can afford that with £20m in our bank account.
I cannot imagine players from Norway, Sweden, Holland will cost big big fees either.
Also our scouts have in the past gone further afield to sign hidden gems surely we are still looking there as well.
But even here in Scotland we have some fine young players the boy Robertson at Dundee United for one.
Finally, for now, what about the loan market, I know people see it as wasted money, but if used well like Martinez at Everton it can improve the club in the short term until a good player becomes available.
I read that Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson could be allowed out on a year long loan what about Celtic signing him?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We should always have a young player ready to step in to the first team for whatever reason arises Tim.Young Fisher proved this can be achieved but you need a Coach who will show faith and reward hard work.Henderson starting again yesterday was the first step on the right road regarding young players for me.

Agree0 Disagree0

Timmalloy,,, why Robertson or jenkinson ahead of say oconnel, fraser, herron, Henderson and to green jhedi what percentage of experience to youth would you be happy with or would the majority of the crowd accept, in the spl I think we could have at least 4 youth players in the starting 11 any given week providing their form justifies it, also would trials changing sub numbers allowing 1 extra as long as its an under 21 homegrown player, or a third of your matchday squad must be homegrown under 21 players

@Green Jhedi & Deepriverbhoy I agree about decent young players being given their chance, but for Champions league games we need proven players at a higher level.
I would be happy to see all our young talented players being given game time from now until end of season, and even 1 or 2 played in league games and some cup games.
But if we cannot get in an experienced centre half for next season then an experienced one like Jenkinson on loan would suit me fine.
Also GJ I agree about being better prepared tactically for Europe, if Lennon cannot change tactics then I would support a more tactically aware coach coming in.

Agree0 Disagree0

@ DRB: I think the number of young players in the starting eleven would vary on who we were playing. I would like a tried and trusted five or six in the squad who are match ready to step in at any time.I would also play only youngsters in the league cup and put games on the season ticket book.

As a club we should have the same playing style throughout all the clubs teams. My own preference would be 3-5-2 or the more flexible 4-2-3-1.It worries me, that after all this time Lennon still has not implemented a style or shape that defines the team
