Horse for us tomorrow, 4.40 @ Kelso. Super Ally, colours are Green with Gold sash (is that a word we can use?) & the jockeys a Tim (Timmy Murphy). Around 5/2 joint favourite.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

U will get better odds than that it has won 3/5 races at kelso

what a bunch of clowns you are read the judges statement properly ...ticketus are not a secured creditor....they take their turn in the queue like everyone else ...administrators can refuse to honour season ticket righs to ticketus if it is in cva creditors interests ..ie more money for creditors .....HMRC ....Catering outlets....sponsors.....in fact anyone who is owed money by rangers .....i think this is just what d&p were wishing for...only craig whytes status now has to be resolved ...d&p will now do what is best for creditors and choose best option for clubs survival ....although liquidation cannot be ruled out in the event that no buyer can be found ....survival chances are aroung 60% liquidation 40% {Ed007's Note - If D&P were wishing for it then why waste money going to court to fight against it. I think you might wan to rethink your strategy there. They could have saved paying their own and Ticketus legal costs by not going to court to get a verdict they didn't want but were wishing for? Seems like a bit of a waste of some much needed capital to me. Oh and by the way, the administrators have always been doing what is best for the creditors, they won't just start doing that now.}

Ed The Peg,

I'm Ed the Peg, deedle eedle eedle um,
With my dodgy leg, deedle eedle eedle um.
Wherever I limp through rain and snow,
The people always let me know:
There's Ed the Peg, deedle eedle eedle um,
With his dodgy leg, deedle eedle eedle um.
The day that I was born, oh boy, my father nearly died.
He couldn't get my shoes on, no matter how he tried,
'Cause I was born with an dodgy leg, and since that day begun,
I had to learn to hop on my own wee foot,
Believe me that's no fun.

I'm Ed the peg, deedle eedle eedle um,
With my dodgy leg, deedle eedle eedle um,
Wherever I limp through rain and snow,
The people always let me know:
There's Ed the Peg, deedle eedle eedle um,
With his dodgy leg, deedle eedle eedle um.

I had a dreadful childhood, really,
I s'pose I shouldn't moan,
Each time they played hopscotch,
I won it on my own.
And also I got popular,
When came the time for fun,
They used to give me Viagra,
And ram it up a bum.

I was a dreadful runner,
I found all the hopping hard,
The only thing I knew for sure was this had become a charade.

I'm Ed the peg, deedle eedle eedle um,
With my dodgy leg, deedle eedle eedle um.

Whatever I did they said was top,
They said 'Quick march,' I did a quick hop.
Then they shouted at me 'Put your best foot forward.'
'You're having a laugh?' I said.
'It's very fine for you, you got a choice of two, but me....i'm only a half!

I'm Ed the peg, deedle eedle eedle um,
With my dodgy leg, deedle eedle eedle um

See a lot of gloating and bravado on here Bhoys less than Dundee U before they got man sent off) Going to Ibrox in the current climate with all the raw emotion and sheer hatred on display is not an ideal venue for a football match of any importance.
I reckon Motherwell will win as the SPL will not want even more bad publicity eminating from Ibrox.
I realise the team have played superbly well and consistantly to be in this position, but a title clincher a week later wouldn't break my heart.
Keep the Heid Bhoys. We will be on the end of some raw treatment from the usual suspects on Sunday so best behaviour and dignity will prevale.

Afternoon ED007, I see CSA are talking about fan boycotts if Gang of Ten change voting system.. Did a quick count, say Celtic take
5000 fans to every away game, and are charge charged £20 each meaning total is £100k multiply by 2 gives you £200k each SPL
club would lose. Yorkston and Johnston will be sh....ng themselves..
Now my next idea is one I think I heard you talk about, cultivate our overseas fans in USA and australia, get a package together offering games on Celtic TV or via internet for say £50 per season even if we only get 200,000 viewers Celtic make £10m+ more than SKY TV pay per season now. Timalloy {Ed007's Note - Everyone is using the Sly deal as a means of trying to frighten other teams to allow a Rangers newco immediate entry back into the SPL. The TV deal is approximately 2% of our club's annual income Tim, is is rather insignificant and I really don't see what the panic is over it. Less games on TV means more people at games for one. Broadcasting is moving on, just as modern technology is leaving the old guard of the press behind, other avenues would and should be explored. The cliche of no Sly deal means no SPL is complete bollocks being peddled by Rangers fans and their friends in the media. Remember the clause was supposedly demanding four derby matches a season, now it is only that both teams are in the SPL. The streaming of games is certainly something big clubs are looking at to maximise their income. If Sly walk away from the SPL I would be absolutely delighted, we don't need them, especially if they are encouraging non punishment of people for breaking the rules of the game. It brings the whole integrity of our game into further questioning and would make a mockery of the basic principal of fair play and sportmanship.}

Ticketus statement taken from their website:

23 March 2012 Statement Response to court ruling

Ticketus is issuing a statement following todays decision by Lord Hodge not to grant the Administrators request for the Court to give them the right to tear up the ticket purchase agreement (the contract) Ticketus has with Rangers Football Club (Rangers or the Club). The legality of Ticketus contract was not an issue.

The Court has made it clear today that the Ticketus contract cannot be breached unless there is substantial evidence that by doing so the Administrators are able to significantly improve returns for creditors and improve the chance of returning the Club to a going concern.

Given the strength of the Blue Knights Consortiums bid, and Ticketus role in this with its contract remaining valid and enforceable, we question the ability for this to happen.
Ticketus position

Ticketus has a duty to its investors to protect the investment that it currently has in the Club. As previously stated, we will do everything necessary to defend our position to ensure our contract is honoured and our investors interests are protected.

With Ticketus as part of the solution, the Blue Knights Consortium, led by Paul Murray, can achieve a rapid resolution for the Club and provide it with a future that is free of unnecessary uncertainty. By incorporating Ticketus into their bid, the Consortium is uniquely able to secure this outcome.
Blue Knights Consortiums Bid

Ticketus preference remains being part of a solution that brings financial stability to the Club. We are confident that the Consortiums bid is in the best interests of the Club, its fans and creditors by guaranteeing the future of Rangers and ending this period of uncertainty for the Club.

Collectively, the Consortium has the ability to provide the Club with the financial stability it needs to continue to perform at the highest level of competition. The Consortium is committed to providing Rangers loyal fan base with the transparency and disclosure it deserves, as well as exploring ways for fans to have a closer relationship with the management of their Club.
Resolution

With every week that passes, further value is destroyed in the Club. To conclude the administration process as soon as possible so that the Club can secure its future in the hands of a new owner is in everyones interest. We feel confident that we can conclude this process more swiftly than other bidders.

The thought process of a Rangers supporter on Sunday.

Will we support a football team today, and sing football songs, or will we

(a) Guard Derry's Walls
(b) Put a Union Jack over ma mammy's f@nny so I can be born under it.
(c) Build a very high gallows.
(d) Sing about my father wearing a silly big of cloth that rhyms with trash.
(e) Sing about how I wish for no leader of the Catholic Church in the Italian capital.

Eh, none of the above, I'll put on my wellies in the hop of being up to my knees in Feni@n blood.

Lets just hope the martians don't land on Sunday and capture one of these unfortunate creatures. The poor martians will be clueless trying to figure the peepil out.

Is this wot this site has come to?..ed i dont think the 2nd post shoulda been put up..it just attracts the idiots u dont want on here replying to it..a lot of similarities could be said of ur team aswel.however i very much doubt it would get posted. The posts on the gers page hav been cries for none of this stuff to be sung..this poster just wants to stir it up in the fashion we dont waana see..he is no better or worse than the rags that report the same...for me this crap shouldnt be put up..shame ..some people wanna fix the problem....some people feel better about themsleves wen stuff like this kiks off...there are celtic fans out there(gers vice versa) that want these songs sung so they can boast about how scummy the other team are.im my opinion this poster is the latter... {Ed007's Note - Decent Rangers fans have been saying for months about the songs being sung at games, it was plain to hear last Saturday that a lot of their fellow supporters don't care about what the majority want, they are still going to sing them. At least the CFC fans have mostly cut it out. Until these songs stop from both sides, then the fans who sing them should be quite rightly vilified.}

Ed 007 I no you don't want 2 go on about this & neither do I my friend so I will ask your opinion on this matter,I agree with you that brian quinn would know more about ebt's than sir dave but I am also sure sir dave would have had good advice also but then again he was duped not so long ago but anyway my question 2 you is why do you think it took hmrc 10 years 2 flag this up now I don't know if RANGERS used them correctly or not but surely during a 10 year period some1 must have noticed what was going on or do you think hmrc have been duped for 10 years aswell, because if they were I as a taxpayer would like 2 know what our tax collectors are actually doing with there time & why it has taken so long for some1 2 notice this your opinion would be welcome
NTYABOW {Ed007's Note - The case against Rangers has been ongoing for a couple of years now. It is part of an investigation into the use of EBTs and football finances in general by HMRC. I wouldn't say that DM was duped as such, he must have been fully aware of the risks involved in implementing EBTs, but decided to take the risk after taking advice on the matter. It has still to be proven that anything untoward actually happened. But the Rangers board obviously had to OK implementing EBTs especially the company secretary Campbell Ogilvie. It is part of board members remit to select suitable accounting and financial policies and ensure their consistent application, and also to make judgements that are reasonable and prudent. The murmurs behind the scenes seem to be that DM had a 'my way or the highway' attitude towards others, which maybe was a factor in anyone pointing out the problems it could possibly cause. I would even guess that when Rangers and DM money problems first came to light something might have flagged up with HMRC over the club's finances, but as I said that is only a guess. HMRC are basically a law unto themselves as anyone who has had to deal with them will tell you, they are not the most helpful people around and are like a dog with a bone if they get a sniff of anything a bit iffy and the chance of some money. The figures being bandied about would be a significant feather in their cap.}

If you see this Paul a great point well madde! most if not all of the issues are blown way out of proportion and are a result of other failings in these particular people and has pretty much bugger all to do with the football other than maybe one lot being a bit peed off at losing!

Its society thats got to change not the foortball in this regards. People still see it as acceptable to respont with force and violence if they dont look right, dont hold the same beleifs or follow the same trends as they do.
