I am expecting Celtic to steal a march on Sevco in the first quarter of matches next season.
Sevco should have away games at Celtic, Aberdeen, Motherwell, Hibs and Livingston
in the first round of matches.
And the fact those games might be behind closed doors won’t make it any easier.
There is definitely a few points to be dropped in those matches, from which Sevco May never recover.

Buzz my thinking is all this bluster during the shutdown has only paperd over the cracks in Regards o how bad they were since the split and saved Gerrard's job and kept the peepul aff his case whilst the club used all this enquiry nonsense as a smoke screen and deflection tactics so as you say if they start the season poorly and we build a quick gap they'll turn on him and he'll be off then who in the right mind would want to step in and be the guy who failed to stop the 10 I predict trouble ahead for that mob.

Good point Jaw, who would want to be their manager when Celtic win 10 In A Row.
It would damage Slippy’s managerial reputation before it’s even off the ground.

Was thinking Gerrard could turn out to be the next John Barnes fail miserably in his first real job and never be a manager again only difference is we had the cash to get shot of Barnes they don't.

Just looking at loans and contracts, the following are due to leave this summer:
Arzani, Bauer, Forster, Elyounnossi all loans
and Calvin Miller, Craig Gordon, Jonny Hayes, Mark Hill and Stephen Welsh whose contracts are due to run out in the Summer.
Thought if anyone was staying and not having his contract run out would be Stephen Welsh.

{Ed007's Note - I said as soon as Rodgers played Calvin Miller at LB that he'd been "Brendaned" and would struggle to make the grade at Celtic.
I pretty sure that there's an offer on the table to Super Jonny Hayes to extend his dream and I know that the Club have been talking to Welsh for a few months about a new deal.

I appreciate this is a surreal and unique situation, between winning 9-in-a-row and celebrating in lockdown and the uncertainty and confusion around how football in general can recover to any sense of normality; however, as we prepare tentatively for next season - what do we expect?
Indefinite social distancing, makes attendance at matches a way-off yet and the financial strain on several clubs may make recovery impossible.

Ideally we would be looking to wrap up a quadruple-treble this month and looking forward with confidence to the next campaign, seeking to improve the squad where appropriate and progress to even better highs.
Realistically, we have not trained or played as a team for weeks and the immediate future is still wracked with doubts and questions?
Obviously, the club have handled this crisis impeccably and will have plans in place as-and-when we get the green light; but I wonder - in these unpredictable times - who do supporters see as having played their last game for Celtic and who would we want in the door to improve the team?
There has been talk of maybe Ajer and Ntcham leaving with Elyannoussi and Fraser Forster going back home.
Maybe too soon to speculate, but I would hate to lose the likes of Big Eddy, Cal-Mac, FF or even Frimpong while I would not miss Rogic, Simo and even El Hamed simply because of the amount of games they miss.

I see England preparing to attempt some sort of resumption to training, but with staff still testing positive, it raises more alarm bells than hope of normality and I only hope a vaccine can be found ASAP to give some confidence and reassurance to all concerned.
There seems to be an impatient rush being fuelled by media/ politicians to get the country moving forward, even though we have struggled and fallen short compared to other countries on management, organisation and control during this virus -as far as I can see.
Personally, as long as we cannot identify who has or carries the virus and I see the continuing hospitalisation and mortality count, I do not feel at ease.

Anyway Hail Hail and stay safe.

Our domestic unbeaten cup run could continue close to 5 years, at least. (once Celtic win the Quadratic Treble)
Neil Doncaster has admitted the league cup for next season could be cancelled due to the part-time clubs not being able to afford to play the cup matches behind closed doors.
Do you think Sevco would still have the audacity to still wear their tainted 5 stars after Celtic have passed 50 titles and have went 5 full years undefeated in all Scottish competitions. Which by then would include Celtic clinching 10 In A Row?

Totally agree the old zombies spent 16million in the summer to try and get 10. We sold our 3 best players. No guarantee do it on the pitch. Let the other lot do the online/ media shouting.
